"Yolanda, why must you always shout like that? There's no great battle going on, and shouting might attract the attention of other dwellers of this here dungeon. On a second note, I thought her monickers were the Luck Maiden or Lady of the Fray?"

Old 2e book, demihuman deities, has a lot of fluff information on the various gods of the realms.
DungeonMaster
Both are hits, damaging the rats and thinning their numbers further. still only 6 damage total as they are resistant to weapon damage. actually since Yolanda is a Cleric, wouldn't she have a sacred flame cantrip or something similar. That is one of the best Cleric cantrip spells.

And that is all the rats. I need a perception check from the first person who is going towards the door.
Male HP:27/27 Ac:16 Half-Elf Rogue(3):Arcane Trickster
Seeing the others hesitate Zakan steps forward, gathering his lit torch he dropped before the battle. He peers into the torchlit darkness near the door.
perception: 1d20 ⇒ 18
DungeonMaster
Zakan spots the pittrap in front of the door and sees what is in the pittrap. Heroes easily kill the giant rat in the pit trap from a ranged distance and recover the gold in there. There is also a scimitar in there if anyone needs one.
Next Heroes enter the Tower Shell room. This circular area is cobbled with cracked granite, upon which sprawl the bodies of four goblins, apparently slain in combat. One corpse stands with its back against the western wall, the spear that killed it still skewering it and holding it upright. Three wooden doors lead from this area. A hollow tower of loose masonry reaches thirty feet into the air, but the intervening floors and stairs are gone, except for a couple of crumbled ledges.
I will update the map, after everyone tells me what they are doing, cause that affects what is being revealed.
Human Monk 4 Max HP: 27 | AC: 17 | Saves: Str: +2; Dex: +6; Con: +1; Int: 0; Wis: +5; Cha: 0 | Initiative: +4

Stonecunning: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
Male HP:27/27 Ac:16 Half-Elf Rogue(3):Arcane Trickster
Zakan stays back behind the others with his torch and keeps alert. He looks uneasily at the goblin corpses and let's three take the lead.

Nileera backs up the sneaky types by keeping her weapon at the ready. Constantly maintaining her dancing lights spell. Every minute she lets it drop for 1 round to peer around in pure blackness before reigniting the lights.

Three recovers the spear, the body falls out of the way, revealing some runes.
Three discovers the secret door in the south with his good eyes, which has a lever next to it, which he can spot is trapped and needs disabled.
Light is thrown into the room, and all heroes the room is just about as empty as it really appeared to be.

"Well best we get this looked after if we plan to move on. Who here knows about locks?"
The dwarf slyly looks over at the Drow as she says this.

Not paying attention to the dwarvish woman's gaze, Nileera also wonders about lock picks.
"Yolanda is correct about needing somebody who can pick a lock. Sadly that is not in my repertoire. Give me some materials and I can make a convincing disguise, but lock picks are not my thing."

I assume rogues are good at that sort of thing but am not sure of how I would do this in dnd, Pathfinder has disable device. Is there a role I should make?
Male HP:27/27 Ac:16 Half-Elf Rogue(3):Arcane Trickster
"Let me have a look-see, or maybe more like a lock-see" Zakan says winking at the drow. From within an almost invisible pocket sewn into his shirt he pulls out an assortment of metal picks. He fumbles with the trap for a moment, probing it for weaknesses.

init: 0 + 1d20 ⇒ 0 + (16) = 16 Skeleton
The circular room is 40 feet by 40 feet and no one is at the far end, so everyone is within one move of the skeletons, don't worry about being exact when you move yourself on the map, especially since there are no lines to guide you, just tell me how far away you want to be. Obviously if you are 40 feet away from the door,
you aren't in the middle but at the far end.

Yoland swings at the skeleton only to find out they are vulnerable to blunt damage, thus killing one.
While Nileera cuts through a few bones but you don't go until after them according to init so the damage goes through later

"We have two doors left now. Let's check them clockwise, starting with this one." Elaith points to the door to the left from the room with the skeletons.
"Can our lock master see of there are any traps?" The wizard smiles at looks at Zakan.

DungeonMaster
Heroes get to the door and Zakan tries to pick the lock, only to find out he can't You would have to roll a nat 20 to get the required dc, and failure by too much can set off an alarm spell as well as break you thieves tools.
Heroes take the upper left door. They come into a long hallway, door on the right, door on the left and door straight forward. to save you time, door in the right is completely empty, just a litter of rocky debris, good place to rest though if you place the rubble up against the door. Okay, door on the left and door straight forward. If you do the door on the left, I need a thieves tools check, no traps involved and the dc is lower than that other door, if you can do it on the first try, you will all get surprise rounds, if not I'll say you will eventually open it and it will be normal init, I recommend someone casting guidance if they have it for our rogue.
Male HP:27/27 Ac:16 Half-Elf Rogue(3):Arcane Trickster
"Oi thats one tough door, I came close but I fear if I tinker much more I might set it off." Zakan steps back and rubs his chin.
After making their way down the hall Zakan puts his ear to the wall and eyes the door.
"Sounds like the lots lounging about in there. I might be able to get this door open quick enough to surprise 'em. Anyone got any spells that might aid me?" Preparing for a third attempt with his thieves tools he rubs his hands together and pulls out the silver pin set he has for lock picking.

I will aid you, which will give you advantage.
