I haven't had an opportunity to play/run Penumbra Accords yet (it's on my list), but I've run Mists of Mwangi and Voice in the Void for several groups now, they make a great double!
I'm looking forward to reading the updated Mists and comparing it with the Season 0 original. Paizo have made some good improvements in scenario layout since Season 0, players comment favourably on full-colour faction mission handouts, but I'm anticipating the updated layout will make running the scenario even smoother for the GM.
Cheers,
DarkWhite

We were just run through Penumbral Accords yesterday, and we went into it not realizing it was part III of the Blakros Museum saga. It was really fun, just like the prior two. I really look forward to seeing these old Season 0 classics being updated to PFRPG, if only so that I can run the ones I love and people not groaning about only 1 PA... despite the story being great!

This may be a dumb question, but it says in the blog post that both the 3.5 version and the updated version will be available for purchase. I still only see one Mists of Mwangi available for purchase under pathfinder society scenarios. How would we know which one this is and where would the other version be if we wanted to purchase it for some reason? (It would be disappointing to think you're buying the version legal for play and then find yourself with the old 3.5 version and no ARs.)

We haven't yet updated the product, but after we have, people who purchase (or have purchased) Mists of Mwangi will get BOTH versions.

Very nice! Thanks!

This is the map in my collection that has gotten the most use. This Sunday I am scheduled to run Mists for the 15th time. It's an indication of how fond I am of this scenario.

The Museum can be built up very nicely using the DwarvenForge Den of Evil sets. They give a really nice spooky atmosphere. I still need a way to make some artificial fog and it would be close to perfect.
I tried some Magicians Fog in. Can - unfortunately this didn't work at all. You couldn't see the fog. Disappointing for a high price. I'm not any longer in the laboratory - so no easy access to dry ice.

I hope the mechanics of the mists are clarified in the Pathfinder version - this tends to be a hard one to adjudicate re: PVP. Still, my favorite module from Season 0, and I made my own "flip map" in Dundjinni since I knew I'd run it a lot. I love the look on players' faces when I put down a bunch of large minis to represent the taxidermied displays!
Even made a 3D paper ziggurat for the final room (had to make it much wider than the map, though - as drawn, the thing more like a tower than a ziggurat).

Doug I can agree ... I finally broke down and decided that after the 3rd module set there I needed a more "permanent" map lol.

Bits of dry ice hidden in the hollow undersides of terrain pieces might create a very nice fog effect.

I still intend to build the ziggurat using Hirst Arts. Just haven't got around it yet - and the fieldstone moods I have don't fit that well.

I have been informed by the web team that both the updated PFRPG version and 3.5 version without Chronicle are available now. An email should be going out in the near future to anyone who previously purchased the scenario informing them of the update.
Who needs an e-mail when we have you and Vic. :)

I downloaded it successfully. It seems to have an identical name as far as I can tell to my old file. As I don't want to overwrite it - just to let others know. Unpack in a different folder - unless I missed a single different letter or something similar.
Looks good as far as I can see but would need some more time to check it out in more detail.

I see that you change the number style to the new Year-Mod#.
I would highly recommend not doing this as it is sure to cause some confusion for players at some point. As an aside, it does indicate which version you played on the chronicle.
We'll eventually be going back and renumbering all legal scenarios from seasons 0 and 1. With each consecutive year, we add 28+ new scenarios to the library, and the more consistently numbered all of them are, the less confusion it will create down the road. It really only alters the numbers for season 1, though, as everything from 1-28 will remain #0-01 -#0-28.

I'm just waiting for the argument:
"I played mod 5! Not 0-05! I get another chronicle sheet!"
Not that many will fall for that reasoning (I hope) :P
But yeah, very nice cleanup.

Actually that does raise the question: Do those who have played it previously get the new chronicle sheet (which has some additional items)?

I am a little disappointed you did not upgrade the Prestige award so it was possible to get 2.
Edit: I think a lot of people where expecting that to happen.

You should have two separate downloads listed—one says "(3.5)", and one says "(PFRPG)" at the end. Depending on how you sort your downloads, they may not appear next to one another, since the were added to your assets at different times.

The changes did seem more minor than I thought there would be. I had hoped than an update to PFRPG would involve adding a second PA point to the missions, but at least the gold was updated to the "newer" values. The adventure itself seems to be a good update, and this is definitely one that deserved the first 3.5 -> PFRPG conversion.
