Not really; I try to be accommodating.
Vanizadi |
I didn't sign up, because you mentioned players who haven't seen it yet, and I've GMed this one.
I haven't actually played it though, so if there's room for one more do you mind if I join?
DM Carbide |
Not at all! I was trying to be descriptive, not prescriptive. Glad to have you with us!

Please finish filling out the table in the second slide, and add your icon to the third slide in the table and the marching orders.

I apologize for not posting or informing sooner. This will be an introduction to pbp for one of our crew. He picks up things easily and I can help out. I just wanted to let you know. I will be attempting to get the three of us squared away by later today so as to not hold this whole thing up.
DM Carbide |
No problem! Thanks for the heads-up, and I hope he enjoys the game.
Do any of you have glyphs to hand out?
DM Carbide |
One other thing for Ma'elo and Ka'elen--take a look at Vanizadi, Chén fú, and Na'ilath's character headers--please add that information to your profiles in the header section, so I can easily see things like your AC, Perception, etc.
Ma'elo, according to your character profile you're a Fighter/4, but on RPGChronicles you signed up as a Rogue/1. Which will you be playing?
Vanizadi |
Two Glyphs.
Vanizadi uses the Hardwood Armor impulse, which means his armor is a magical effect that has to be periodically activated. It lasts 10 minutes and only takes an action, so restarting it every time it starts to wear off while exploring is easy enough. But it requires him to have his kinetic aura active, so if ambushed in town or another setting where that would be inappropriate his AC drops to 17 until he activates it.
I'd normally put him in the front, but we seem to be a melee-heavy party and he can also be effective at range. He can slot in anywhere, if anyone wants his space in the marching order feel free to move him out of the way.
He has the somewhat awkward Fresh Produce. It's a healing ability that only takes one action from the user, but the recipient also needs to spend an action to get the benefit and needs a free hand. So, does anyone have a free hand in combat?
On the plus side, he's a good out-of-combat healer.

Sorry folks. Came down with a cold Saturday night. Spent the weekend Sickened 1 and miserable...
DM Carbide |
That sucks. Hope you feel better soon!
Ma'elo |
Make two unarmed Strikes. If both hit the same creature, combine their damage for the purpose of resistances and weaknesses. Apply your multiple attack penalty to the Strikes normally. As a flourish ability, you can use Flurry of Blows only once per turn.
DM Carbide |
I'll be traveling over the next couple of days, and slow to post.

Apologies for the silence. Had a really really toxic Thursday-Friday at work so I needed the weekend to recharge. If you dabble in IT, let me know and I'll tell you the horror of it all :)
