Argoni tries to get an angle on White. He's not sure but tries anyway. Unfortunately, it's not with him this time and all he manages to do is splash Deroff and Uni with acid.

Uni trots into the building, ducks his head under the doorway, and squeezes into position. Miladistra is clapping all the way.

Red realizes he's in over his head and makes a break for it, only to be pinned to the wall by 3 arrows. Fortunately for him, Jun-Mei stabilizes him before he bleeds out.

You find some rope in the lab and tie up the surviving soldiers. Searching their unconscious bodies, you find three moderate healing potions as well as a Shark Tooth Charm and a bottle of Cayden's brew.

More disturbingly, you find a pair of letters that refer to the Reformation Regiment by their chosen name, both written in the same hand.

You also send a message off to Kazima and she agrees to swing by to pick up the miscreants when you've departed.

You can take a few minutes (say 20) to heal up after combat. But speed is of the essence. It’s more pressing than ever to escort the students through the city without raising the alarm, as there’s no way to tell who among the remaining Pure Legionnaires share in the extremists’ views.

I'm going to post the choices to keep us moving. Basically, you have four options in this first part (via city streets)

CHOOSE ONE (decide as a group, of course!)

AWARENESS POINTS (bad): 2 (1 Legionnaire escaped, one of you failed a reflex save on a hazard)
EVIDENCE POINTS (good): 4 (1 each for the Legionnaires, 1 for the letter)

"Uni, can you help Akame?" Miladistra leans down to meet Uni face to face. He trots over to her and his horn glows.

Heal: 3d8 + 24 ⇒ (4, 7, 4) + 24 = 39 Akame should be at full now.

The fun must come to an end, and she dismounts Uni. "Thank you for ye help. Maybe I can ride ya again later?" Uni snorts with indignation, but then he leans his head down to muzzle her once more before trotting off into the fountain he was summoned from.

"I'm gonna miss him..."

Deroff whines.

"Hmm? Oh yes, don't worry boy, I'm always here for you." She doesn't really look as she ruffles his fur.

"My >Vital Beacon< is at full power. We can use that to quickly heal. That one feller ran away and will round up the wagons if we take too long here."

"If you ask me... we Go With The Flow and get this done right quick."
