I posted in recruitment for at least one more player to join us so that the table becomes legal without the need for a pregen as a fourth player. If no one signs up, I can play one of the pregens, depending on the party composition. For now, please remember to complete the Sign-Up Sheet, page 2 of Slides for tokens, and the Macros linked above, if you have your PC ready. You can start with introductions in the gameplay thread, so they're done by the time we kick off the game on September 9.

Hey all. I've got a 1st level solarian.

This is my first foray into Starfinder and Organized Play. I've been playing PF1E for years and was part of a PF2E PbP our GM just put on an indefinite hiatus. I looked through the SF1E PRD and playtest doc to get a feel for SF lore.

I'm playing Chk Chk renamed as Chi Chicka Chickaaa (Ho yeah!) On the signup sheet do I need to make it as a pregen since I change the name? Not sure it matters since I'm just using this character for the playtest.

I'll be playing the Navasi Pregen. I'll get the header and character stuff filled out tomorrow.

Where on the survey map are we starting out from? I think I would be in favor of starting out with whatever's closest

I changed the border on my token to bright yellow to make it pop against the background more.

Apologies for the unexpected delay — work and life really caught up with me over the weekend. I'll have the game updated within the next 24 hours (my local time).

The game looks really well organized, I'm just trying to pick up any tips I can for playing 2e.

I play lots of SF1e PBP, but I've mostly only played PF2e live, I only played one PSP bounty PBP. I see a lot of symbols being used not sure what they all are

Great idea that's a good way to do that.

How do you add those graphics? Cut and paste?

I cut and pasted from the combat tab of the macros link, I don't know where the originals came from.

Unicode officially supports emojis now, so maybe they're emojis? They look crazy as heck in a forum that has barely changed formatting in over a decade like this one.

Edit: I tried copy and pasting an emoji from the full Unicode emoji list and it didn't display. I copy and pasted ⚠️ from here into Google and it recognized it as an emoji character (U+26A0), so I have no idea what's going on.

The ⚠️❤️️⭐ icons are actually have no significant meaning in the initiative tracker. Forgot to remove them from the original tracker I copied it from.

Real life get in the way again?

Just checking in, I'll be here when we pick up again. The problem with real life is the DC seems to keep getting harder.

We are close to the end of the playtest scenario. Kindly check your info on the sign-up sheet linked above. And it looks like Nik B is not signed up yet.

So how does crediting these playtests work? More ACP? Different ACP?

I'm still not sure that the Witchwarper spell list is adequate to the task.

I never used a spell either. I was going to for the drone attack but I was out of range or I suspected the drones were immune or resistant to my spell's damage type.

It looks like each playtest adventure tests a different part of the game, so some of the other might have more situations where spells could get used more.

Envoy seems pretty fun so far. Maybe even a tiny bit overpowered
