This campaign is a DRAGONLANCE campaign, going from DL1 to DL12. I will be using the 15th Anniversary version, though. Since it collects the material in the adventures.

To be perfectly honest, I don't think WotC would be giving up rights to their intellectual property so easily. They just came out with a splatbook for Dragonlance - I think it's still their most heavily advertised campaign setting - and 3.5 is one of their more popular systems, so they get massive royalties from any sale of out-of-print supplements.
If this is in fact a real deal in the works, I would advise you, GM, to be very cautious going forward - I'm all but certain your deal with WotC does not mean what you think it does. Even giving you the benefit of the doubt and assuming this is real, you're still dealing with the same lawyers who tried to rewrite the OGL, and they have compelling reasons not to sell you either Dragonlance or D&D3.5E. No offense to you, but I'm fairly sure you're being taken advantage of.

DM, if this is true I would be careful about talking about it. The Pinkertons are known to show up at people's doorsteps sent by Hasbro/WOTC,
Male Human (Estwilde) Ranger (Guide) 5
I'm all but certain this is a scam, as are friends with more financial expertise I've talked to - my advice to you would be to contact WotC through official channels, not ones provided by your business partners, and verify if this offer is legitimate, which I am all but certain it is not. On the other end, you could also ask to speak to the Dragonlance writers personally, whether over the phone or in-person - don't just take the word of some random person online. Don't pay any advance legal fees or any such similar costs - this is almost certainly a form of scam, and if you pay the upfront costs, they'll probably disappear with your money.
If you've already given them your information, you need to call your financial institution and cancel the credit cards/accounts you gave them access to.

By the way, EltonJ, you keep having the Blue Crystal Staff appearing as a clearly unusual staff made of crystal all the time, but I seem to remember from the books and 3.5 dragonlance rules manual that it appears as a plain wooden staff to those viewing it without magic. It only reveals itself if it is using it's healing powers.
I checked on the dragonlance wiki to be sure, and it said, "Most of the time, the staff appeared as a simple, plain, unadorned quarterstaff. However, whenever it was used or seen through the eyes of magic, the staff was a six-foot long rod of flawless blue crystal."
Normally I wouldn't say anything, but in this case, the staff being conspicuous all the time severely hinders the ease of our quest to keep it's movements secret.

If my memory is correct the Staff of Mishakel only turns to blue crystal when it does something. I think the Easley painting on DL1 has it as a wooden staff.

Gotcha. So I have revised it.

I would like to say that though I prefer the Wizards of High Sorcery, I do enjoy the fact that the Holy Orders of the Stars all have their medallion of faith.

It would appear the fire elemental thing never happened. I thought it was an overreaction but if he wigged out he wigged out. I think we should be held to our choices next time. Or was there a 'If this then I..." type of thing in there I didn't notice?
Male Human Wizard (3), Wizard of High Sorcery (2)
I didn't have the fire elemental attack, but I had it keep the strangers back. I do have an explanation for his overreaction, but it's not terribly important if we want to move on. I agree though, the fire elemental thing was a choice, and I hold to it, I'm not going to backpedal.

I am confused. We starting casting spells at people for having dry skin :) and rolled initiative and then the left? Or did the spell never take place and then they left?
Perhaps there is an untapped market for skin care products we can tap into.

She should have elven vision which is a mix of low light and dark vision, correct, per the DL Campaign setting.

I would like to apologize for my delays in posting - my home table recently started a new campaign, and of my current PbP campaigns, I've been having the most trouble getting into this one. I have tried to give it a shot, but unfortunately, I do not think this style of game is for me. As such, I will be withdrawing from this game - all the best wishes to those who remain. Thank you for having me in your game, and my apologies for leaving on such short notice.

Everyone,
We can move on if you feel we need to. If you need to roleplay this scene further, don't hesitate.
I'm all set, thanks for checking.

Alright, whenever you all are ready to move on, we can. Not pressuring, just saying I'm ready.

Sorry I haven't posted as much folks. Last week was pretty busy. I should have more time coming up though.
Can't wait to char some draconian hide!

Hi everyone,
Tomorrow is my birthday, so I'm taking a break from posting tomorrow until late. Just so you know.

I know this will come as a shock. But . . .
My cousin, Eric Gibbons (Soulcleave) has died. And I'll be going to his funeral (Celebration of Life). Since I was his best friend. I don't know the date of his viewing or his funeral, but it's sometime this week.
I won't be posting much during that day, or I might not at all that day. It's been a time of ups and downs. I'll get his RPG library, so that's a plus.

Hello, everyone!
The funeral for my cousin Soulcleave was great. There weren't any flowers, but my mom had a tree planted. Also, a lot of people got up to speak about their memories of my cousin. I did too. There was a lunch, plus I got to take home a miniature -- and of course I got his big, red, fire breathing dragon.

This is a reason why I don't like to run combats according to the RAW.
Roll init and perception for everyone?

It's Mariel's move in the battle.
I could take a level of rogue for trapfinding and stealth. Got a good dexterity.

Is there going to be further movement? If irl events are to large then perhaps it is better to end things

That's what I'm thinking.
