Yes. Where are you going?

![]() |

Well...these doors are just as good as any other way...want to check it for alarms and the like? No telling what traps that nutter has on it... Carlin says as she points to the recently departed Klarkosh.
moved to the double doors...

![]() |

The double doors are not not trapped and not locked. They are made of bronze plate. They are inscribed with runic lettering and the images of strange, partially formed creatures with blank faces and featureless bodies.
All you find are a dead end and a door.
If you listen at the door, roll Perception.

perc1d20+13 lol...me not see nothing...
Good thing you used a double-negative, because you DID see hear something; 'fail on 1' doesn't apply to skill checks (with a few exceptions)!
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28 WOW! What a waste!
"HSSSSSSSSSSSST! The NOISE...!" Wayang are not in the habit of screaming, but as Black Sun suddenly she cradles her head and ears, one gets the sense that is what another would do if subjected to whatever she's experiencing; still, she inches closer to the door, arms still wrapped at absurd angles around her head, as she is tranfixeb by the runes.
"'Glory to the makers, the shapers, the fashioners of servants," She intones once it becomes clear nobody else can read them. "In this crucible let artifice and theurgy be joined in noble purpose for the dominion of Derrokind'."

"Well, lets go in then. Can't wait to see whats up there." Thornrose says as they kicks in the door.

You 'open' the door.
Piles of scrap metal and broken machinery lie around this room, organized into tidy rows. Most are disassembled limbs or torsos from human-shaped machines. There’s a panel with a red-handled lever on the room’s east wall.
Two clockwork servants are salvaging parts from several emerald automatons destroyed in a previous skirmish. with unknown assailants. They look up as you enter and prepare to attack.

Maybe their net throwers need adjusting.

Once again, it momentarily seems as if the universe is made of taffy, and the light flickers from light to darkness to light in unrecognizable colors, and epicenter of the distortion violently shifts from somewhere in their midst, to the automaton on their right, which begins to crumple inward...

Unfortunately it's just all scrap - nothing valuable in here.

A large double door, reinforced with iron bands, seals off this room. It looks much newer than the dungeon walls. An emblem in the shape of an automation’s head inside interlocking gears is painted on the door.

So you open the door.
A small pool of water in a basin of gold tile lies in the center of this chamber, and the walls are decorated with tiled patterns, once colorful but now cracked and faded. Four staggered columns support the vaulted ceiling.
