Sorry again about the slow posts this week, real life has been doing as it does.
As for Lita's nightmares, I've mentioned her having them about fires, either being trapped in them or setting them herself. In addition to that, I think a lot of the fears that would show up in her nightmares, the stuff that really gets to her the worst, is the fear that deep down, people were right about her. Demon-blooded tieflings are known for destructive urges, and while she's tried to turn any that she might have to productive things, she's terrified that one day, she's going to break something or hurt someone in anger and realize that she likes it. She's still extremely Paladin about it, so in practice this mostly winds up being her convinced that she's secretly evil or irredeemable or something because she finds it satisfying to fight someone who's being cruel.

No worries. I know it happens. :)
And that could be a lot of fun to play with, but as I said in an earlier post, I'm going to have y'all write those up. It just avoids the issues that Dare pointed out.

I've added the information I posted about initiative, rolls, and crits to the campaign tab. It also includes some information about rolling knowledge checks since that came up in the other game. Short version is if you don't know what to roll, roll a d20 and list out your Knowledge modifiers for each topic you want to know about. I've taken calculus, so addition doesn't really scare me. :P

Allow me to also offer my congratulations to the happy couple. Not many make it to 50 years together.

No post tonight. I need to mentally reset and focus on getting a good night's sleep. Apologies.

Posting this here so everyone can see it.
No post tonight. Still recovering form Wednesday night where I got exactly zero sleep, plus some other fun stuff with a snake and looking for things to deal with said snake just after finding out that yes, I do in fact have ADD (I'm fine, been dealing with it for years well enough that I was never tested as a kid. I just have the diagnosis now. :P)
I'll try to get a post up this weekend to move things forward.

I'll have to post it when I have a chance to write it all. Short version, my family and I live near a creek and a snake got in my mom's backyard where the dogs cornered it. I wound up borrowing a shotgun to take care of it, but by the time I got back to my mom's, it was gone.
Keep in mind, it's less than a minute to get from my mom's to my house, to everywhere else I went, so it wasn't like I was gone all that long.
Also wanted to post it's going to take longer than I had thought to get back into the saddle here. I've been working on getting some personal stuff straightened out and getting some long overdue things done around my house, and while I have definitely made progress, I'm still a long way from done. I'm trying to change some habits and that doesn't happen over night.
Thank you for your patience. I know it's frustrating so soon after we started to have a pause in the game, but I promise you that I will come back and get things going again. It's just going to take longer than I thought it would.

No worries, sir. Cailyn could forget we are hear to save the world and come over to start chatting about where we should go for lunch. She has heard something about a 'Hagfish' and is curious.

The timing of this has gotten screwy but just assume Dare's chatting at a point when Joanna's not quite available yet. (I was just trying to get that thread tied up.)
