Pink and Green Sphere (Cracked) Ioun Stone (+2 diplomacy), 200 gp
Scroll/lucky number, 25 gp

If anyone else would like to purchase a scroll of lucky number, Piotr is more than happy to cast it on you. It really is a cool spell especially if you get a really low number.

Will keep my money for a Int-boost magical object finally

The thing about lily pad stride is, though, that it has to be cast on "you". If it could be cast on anyone else, it would say "the target" or something like that. Unfortunately, it can't be cast on your animal companion or anyone else. It's kind of the limitations of being a druid-only spell.

Core rulebook pg 52: Share Spells (Ex): The druid may cast a spell with a target of “You” on her animal companion (as a spell with a range of touch) instead of on herself. A druid may cast spells on her animal companion even if the spells normally do not affect creatures of the companion’s type (animal).

*Facepalm*
I completely forgot about that. Heh. And I just finished a game where I was casting "you" spells on my spiritualist's phantom.Welp! Let's go lily pad hoppin'!

It sounds like some in the party are not onboard (see what I did there ;) ) with the floating lily pad 400+ feet 70min self-building bridge. I get it, as Zeldana's acrobatics sucks too, but she evades those checks by way of riding Winnie.
I will therefore not have Zeldana memorize that spell and see to other personal options for Winnie and her. Don't worry about loading Winnie on a boat: she'll be self-propelled.

Is the cart tall enough for Piotr to be able to grab the railing of the ship and pull himself aboard (like, easy DC 5 climb check?) or is it a more difficult climb?

PS: I've contacted the Garsita's player in Discord to let them know you're waiting for their actions.

I'm going to be away for the next few days. GM, please bot me (I've spoilered a suggestion for Jilla's next turn).

T'was the game before Critmas
And all through the home,
Not a PC was rolling,
Not even the gnome.
The party was resting
And so were the players,
While feasting on pizza
And nachos in layers.
The GM was hidden
Obscured by his screen,
While highlighting upcoming traps
in bright neon green.
They'd won a hard fight
And gave it their best,
But the battle was over,
The world was at rest.
The Drow were all snuggled up
Safe in their caves
With visions of Dwarves
Failing Fortitude saves.
No bandits did burgle,
No merchants were trading,
The Orcs all asleep
From a long day of raiding.
The temples were silent
No songs from their bells,
The Wizards had given up
Casting their spells.
When outside the game room
Came a booming reception,
That everyone heard
(If they made their perception.)
And who should be summoned
to the plane of the living?
Why, Pathfinder Santa!
The Warlord of Giving!
With a loud cry for battle
He kicked in the door,
Our group caught flat-footed
From his initiative score.
He stood 10 feet tall
What a sight to be feared!
With an Ogre-like gut,
and a Dwarven-like beard.
His platemail was crimson
With runes green and gold,
A candy cane halberd
In fist did he hold.
In his off-hand he carried
A heavy brown bag
Weighed down by its contents
of treasure and swag.
Our group went dead silent,
Our fear, it was stressful,
His intimidate check
Was quite clearly successful.
We dodged an explosion
Of minis and dice
As he lept on the board
and roared "Naughty or Nice?!"
Lawful or Evil?
Greedy or Fair?
If it's all in character,
I really don't care!
You've solved many riddles
And slain many hoards,
Now turn in the XP,
It's time for Rewards!
With a deep hearty laugh,
And a stomp of his boot
He tipped over his bag
And dumped out our loot!
For the Ranger:
A Composite Longbow +3
And a magical ring
That can summon a Tree
To the Bard he did hand
An enchanted War Drum,
And an ancient black bottle
of 90 proof Rum.
For the Wizard? New scrolls!
What a magical feast!
From a new Arcane Handbook,
yet to be released.
For the Rogue, two keen daggers,
One black and one white
That would keep him well hidden
As he snuck through the night.
For the Cleric, a symbol
Of the goddess of healing
To prevent all the damage
Our foes would be dealing.
And last but not least,
Our own Dungeon Master,
Neither Monster, Nor Fighter,
Nor Cleric, Nor Caster.
"For you, Mr. GM."
He said with a squeal
And he gave him new dice
Forged of real Stainless Steel.
"They're wicked and lucky,
Much more than you'd think,
And sure to roll 20's"
He said with a wink.
For they both knew the secret game
GM's all played
It matters not what they rolled,
Just the sound that they made.
With a cry to the heavens
He called out to the night
And a Dragon descended
To him from its flight.
He swung one leg over
And they took to the sky,
We all cheered and waved
As he shouted "Goodbye!"
His entrance was sudden,
His exit abrupt,
We'd survived the encounter
And all leveled up.
You could hear him call out
From the dragon he'd tamed:
"Merry Critmas to all!
And to all a good game!"

Likely we will have to have a bit of patience with people for the next week or so. Still if you are around take a swing or two at the poor captain. :)

I discovered my attack & damage numbers were a bit off. I think they're correct now.
I must have had bonuses from the previous adventure added on and forgot to remove them.
+1 Nodachi Attack:
BaB +3, STR +4, Magic +1, Weapon Focus +1 = +9 (no penalty to Power Attack w/Furious Focus)
+1 Nodachi Damage:
STR +4, Magic +1, PA & two-handed +3 = +8
Mwk Bec de Corbin should be the same except for the no magical +1 to damage since it's only a masterwork weapon.

![]() |

And, I just discovered that with a Str modifier of +4, I do get another +2 to damage with two-handed weapons. I didn't know it stacks with the +50% with Power Attack. So, damage total with nodachi is +10, damage with bec de corbin +9.
See ya in the morning!

Away for 48 hours--please bot until Sunday. Thanks!

![]() |

Hm, I think I need to carefully re-read the Gameplay thread and maybe even jot down some notes to try to figure out potential leads. I like an adventure that makes me think (even if Jilla doesn't!).

![]() |

Yeah. We should collect what evidence we have and compile it here. Is Piotr going to be the main roller? I'm terrible at roleplaying court proceedings.

![]() |

THat's why I prepared Eagle splendor's spells. Two of them. That can help.
We should give the elements we think are more important to the character with the highest bonus, because if it works (good total), minor mistakes (lower rolls) won't be so bad.
