(I'm awake between 8 am to 10 pm EDT (UTC-4 hours) so roughly 1300 to 0300 hours, GMT.)
Howdy. If you're a member of one of my games, then here are a few rules I'd like you to follow:
1. Please post at least once a day.
2. Under your name, please add a stat block. Most important stats:
- Hit Points
- AC
- Saving Throws
- Perception Bonus
3. Any skill with the Secret tag should be rolled privately. If I show the DC, feel free to make the roll openly. Otherwise, there are 2 ways to do this in my games:
- You can say which skill and which bonus you want to apply. (Example: "I use Occultism +5 to investigate the skull's mystic origin.")
- Or you spoiler your dice roll and everyone sticks to the honor system of not opening it.
Example Occultism roll:
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
If you haven't added Pathfinder specific equipment, I suggest you look at the >PFS 2 Society Rules<, in particular the Pathfinder Training section.
Once you have your character selected, please go to RPG Chronicles and post your character's details there >Sign Up Page<

No glyphs from me.
The sign-up page link isn't working. It doesn't go to RPG Chronicles.
Salaish has all the Inpsires (Courage, Defense, Competence). I'm trying to do better at remembering to use Inspire Competence, but it sometimes slips my mind. Feel free to nudge me when making skill checks. (Auto-success on Aid)
Unless the party prefers otherwise, Salaish will generally do Inspire Courage during combat. Inspire Defense will be used (Exploration activity: Repeat a Spell) when she suspects an ambush or trap is possible, unless we're being stealthy.
Ok I'm back home with access to an actual keyboard! I'm working on getting caught up this morning as I haven't played Scratch since April. He seems to be in order.
I'm seeing we're pretty squishy and my lack of attention has me in the point position... Being a sniper Scratch is far from the point. Anyone else interested in being front and center or do we all just go stealth for init :)
Another question: The link to the pathfinder society 2 edition page I have, and the one the GM has linked above is expired... Is there a new page up somewhere I don't know about for checking on school items like scrolls and healing potions? Scratch needs his free healing!
Good deal! One lesser healing potion acquired. Scratch also has 6 daily infused reagents for bombs or ammo. He goes all in with 12 moderate alchemist fires for the biggest boom for his bucks.
Scratch also has bombs, usually they are used to make holes in walls and doors, but if we find something that doesn't like fire he can put them to use in the traditional way.
As a reminder, you can always >Spend all of your Hero Points< to avoid dying, which will stabilize you and restore your Wounded condition to whatever it was before you fell (so it would be 1 for Caitlin and 0 for Luna.)
Persistent Damage is troublesome as it will put you back into dying. Good news is that you're down to 2 enemies. Bad news is that they're really strong and like to crit.
A question on the damage to black. If Scratch's first shot crit (45 damage), the second shot hit (13 damage). Shouldn't Black be at 36+45+13: 94 damage? Mostly just hoping no one dies!
Ya when it comes to combat Scratch is pretty bland, has no battle medicine, and really there is rarely any reason to use a gun that isn't the arquebus.
Out of combat he's got a bit more utility but not a ton. Gunslinger snipers are pretty straight forward. Thanks for keeping people alive down there!
It's Remaster day. As I downloaded the Player Core PDF about 10 minutes ago, please bear with me as I try to apply the Remaster rules.
IIRC, the hounds' Knockdown ability is no longer automatic, they need to make an Athletics check to trip you.
Also, this scenario was written before they thought of the Plane of Metal, so everything is Earth-aligned. Let's say they live at the border between Earth & Metal...
Something I keep forgetting about since I haven't had much gameplay at level 5 and above, but some of us now have critical specialization effects kicking in to remember.
Looking back I see Scratch crit black last round, which will leave black stunned 1 on its next turn.
Also Caitlin just crit red, leaving it clumsy 1 for the round. (If it was her hunted prey.)
