I have played 1-23 with another character, so unfortunately I won't be able to continue with you guys. Have fun!

In case we're still going: I will be traveling Dec. 21-28. I may be able to post in the middle of that, but certainly not on the 21st or 28th. Feel free to bot me if needed.

1-23 is a repeatable

I'm continuing with Isaku. Though I have played 01-23 before.

Isaku builds a diorama detailing the temple and the mephits, as well as their so-called god...

I've played and GMed 1-23 a few times, but sending in a tetchy tiefling could be interesting.
performance: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30 dayjob.

As much as I like the demolitionist feat: Demolition Charge, I think I'll need to retrain it with the downtime from this coming adventure to running reload. I just don't ever really get to use it, and being able to reload and move will really change things. Scratch is far too stationary a target for fights without good cover or in confined spaces. Repositioning consistently will be a good option to just covered reload.

Just as a heads up, I have played this scenario before, within the last year on another character: Eddie. I believe it was on the lower tier but am not certain.

I played this with Itka when she was 5th level.

Has anyone heard from Isaku in a while? Usually he has a much higher posting speed, but he did mention how work was getting hectic.

I have not in a while I'm afraid.

Isaku's real life has gotten super busy lately, so he won't be able to join us to finish this up. Let's just say he's helping the Captains analyze the documents.

I understand. We'll miss him, and not only for his healing capabilities. So who else can do healing? Salaish has Soothe as a signature spell, but isn't trained in Medicine, so she can't Treat Wounds.

Seoni has Soothe, but not as a signature spell. No medicine skill either.

Scratch has natural medicine, so only some post combat trained healing rolls, nothing fancy. But you gotta be cool with weird bush-type healing remedies...

Caitlin is an expert with Battle Medicine. She's also currently the front line.

Hoo boy. This'll be fun. I'll plan on being the main medic in combat so Caitlin can focus on fighting baddies, then let her and Scratch take over out of combat. We've got this!

Don't be afraid to move around to avoid taking lots of attacks. Sometimes if you're strong with ranged and area effects you can spread out to maximize their wasted stride actions.
