Don't forget the >Avert Gaze< action to give yourself a +2 circumstance bonus to these saving throws.
You can also close your eyes which will avoid their gaze completely. Although now you can't use sight as a sense for figuring out where they are. This will make them >hidden< or >undetected< to most of you.

Hrm, my first 2nd edition haste action.. I'll have to reread the spell to see how they've powered it down. Hopefully it'll allow me to get a consistent 2 shots a round now.

Ya I was trying to maximize my damage output by targeting yellow, avoiding the lesser cover if I had targeted purple, and any likely wasted damage from a crit on purple.
Hoping Seoni can finish off purple to save us some damage and checks.

So many jokes. So little time.
They're singin' we will we will rock you!
I'll wait for Seoni to go so I know if I need to finish off white or try to blast a hole through green. We need less lizards getting us stoned.
Go ahead. I wanted to make sure Caitlin doesn't get a chance to roll a critical failure on the recovery save and cast Soothe instead of an attack.

Gah I keep forgetting about this ability, which is much more relevant now that things are surviving crits:
You gain access to the critical specialization effects for firearms and crossbows.
*Firearm: The target must succeed at a Fortitude save against your class DC or be stunned 1.
Scratch's Class DC is 22.

There are 2 optional encounters coming up.
The first one can be taken in Hard Mode (TM). There is no additional reward besides bragging rights. If anyone says no or abstains from voting, we'll do the normal difficulty version of it.
The second one is completely optional and can be skipped.

Seeing as we have no true meat shield and our primary healer is out, I would like to avoid Hard Mode.
BTW, we haven't healed up from the basilisk battle yet, despite the fact that our characters would've made that a priority after the fight. Can we retcon that?

I'd agree with those two statements!
Scratch can try some backwoods remedy on people if they wish, Nature +11.

Quote:Much of that, or at least the big ones for Scratch: Attack and Damage, won't stack with Inspire Courage.. which I'm assuming you'll be using?11. Shal’mokk (Family):
Shaped like a primitive nest, this constellation is associated with home and family. A creature standing on it gains no benefits but grants each adjacent ally a +1 status bonus to all attack rolls, damage rolls, AC, and saving throws.
I'm thinking about action economy. And I forgot to refocus, so I only have 1 Focus Point for Lingering Composition. This way I'll be able to Raise a Shield with her last action.

Ok no problem. I just wanted to be sure everyone knows about the stacking. I tend to forget which are circumstance bonuses and which are status bonuses.
Scratch should be able to rack up more crits and hits with that reroll and keep fights as short as possible. I really wish I had retrained for reload on the run already.

That's a yes vote for Scratch. He's trained in likely useful skills like acrobatics, athletics, and nature. Besides, who doesn't want to say they've ridden giant lizards before?

We're up to the finale. Please double check your RPG Chronicles info to make sure it's correct.
Everyone will have to make a skill check for each argument. Not trying is considered a critical failure, so it can't get any worse.
This negotiation takes up the entire day, so any consumable buffs only last long enough to answer one question.

| 1 person marked this as a favorite. |
Primary Objective:
The PCs succeed at their primary objective as long as they succeed on at least 3 out of the 5 negotiation challenges.
Secondary Objective:
- succeed on all 5 of the negotiation challenges (failed "What do you have that we want?")
- succeed on at least 3 of the negotiation challenges while also:
- also successfully recovering the requested documents and convincing both Kesstraka and Lashweather to attend the negotiations. (success!)
If you want me to include anything in the notes like earning income, mention them now. You can always add it in afterward.

Scratch will use his downtime to retrain a class feat:
Demolition Charge: Feat 4: Archetype Demolitionist
turns into:
Running Reload: Feat 4: Gunslinger
I should have done this long ago!
