Delta will take up to 3 damage from Shardul, thanks to the Life Link between them.
I will wait for the other's saves so I can decide what action I should take.

Toavandil Hanustar shudders under the spell's effects. "Well that did cause pain, I'll give you that. We just have to see who can take more of it", he comments. He runs behind Hyphy, repeats his attack routine when Shardul distracts the enemy, and retreats out of the area of the spell, if Teflar would repeat her action.

Rahgat continues to share his sense of the passage of time with Teflar, seeming to grow older himself as he does so. But he is, in general, focusing on overwhelming her mentally--the weight of time is only one part of it.
[ooc]◆ Cast temporal distortion again. Teflar must make a DC 17 Will save or be Clumsy/Enfeebled/Stupefied/Stupefied: 1d4 ⇒ 4 Stupefied 1 for four round (Stupefied 3 for two rounds on a critical failure); Rahgat's curse progresses to the moderate stage, making himself Enfeebled 2 and inflicting a -3 save penalty against fatigued or slowed, but also halving durations of effects on himself.

His celestial privilege seems not enough. Nonetheless, Delta sends blessed words to Toanvadil, forging a connection of positive energy to the monk. More life energy seeps out of Delta, but it does not bother him at all. "Ah, yes! I can feel it." Minor curse becomes Moderate curse.

Teflar's emanation of Zon Kuthon's presence hits the party hard, but no one is massively damaged. I don't think anyone passed, but no one critically failed.
Delta Variant takes some of the damage instead of Shardul, and Shardul not only hits Teflar in reaction to the Harm, but also hits twice with subsequent attacks, seriously hurting the cleric.
Rahgat's manipulation of time continues to stymie Teflar, this time interfering with her thought processes. His attempt to Daze her is met with an incredible display of Will from Teflar, who shrugs off the spell.
Delta Variant bolsters Toanvadil to share future damage, then attempts to hit Teflar with a bolt from his crossbow, but misses.
Shardul, which of your allies gets the reduction in damage? I am not seeing a designation, and my reading of Retributive Strike is that it would only shield one ally.

Fortitude Save DC 17 : 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16
Shardul uses their Devine power to reduce the damage to Hyphy, which is a good thing because Hyphy is completely overwhelmed by Zon Kuthon's power as focused through the Cleric Teflar. Shardul reduces Hyphy's damage by 3, so Hyphy has all of 5 HP.
Hyphy's scream at Keflar becomes an attack that takes Teflar off guard, but not as completely as Zon Kuthon's energy impacted Hyphy. Hyphy tries to finish off Teflar with a seed pod to the neck, but the seed misses the neck and flies off into the distance. 16 is a miss, even if flanking made her flat-footed, 18 is also a miss. Teflar is still up.

She should make a flat check when she casts, since she's Stupefied.
Rahgat is about to heal Hyphy when Delta beats him to it.
He doesn't have much in the way of offensive magic to switch to. Not directly. Indirectly, though?
He focuses the divine energy within him and calls for something celestial... Not a true celestial, he's not nearly powerful enough yet, but something from the outer planes--even if it does resemble something more mortal.
The creature that appears behind Teflar, opposite Shardul, is rather like a dog--and it tries to bite her.

Apologies. I had applied the DC penalty for Stupefied but missed the Flat check in the last line of the description.
Flat check to cast Phantom Pain on Shardul DC 6: 1d20 ⇒ 2
The spell fails on the flat check, which means folks can RETCON their actions since the spell, however Rahgat's Guard Dog attack would take her down, which make things rather moot since that ends the combat.
Delta Variant heals Hyphy. Rahgat summons Celestial assistance which attacks Teflar and takes her down.

Toavandil Hanustar walks over to the defeated priestess. "This presents us another kind of challenge", he says as she pokes the priestess with his staff, "although the locals might accept the outcome, no village is an island by itself, but connected to the world. The national government did accept her, I presume, so there may be some issues ahead when they find out she's gone".
He looks at the scarecrow. "Good scarecrow, have you considered what actions would be taken next at this kind of situation?"

![]() |

The scarecrow removes her mask, revealing a young adult human woman. I am Kareida. I studied under Teflar and can fulfill her role as village Cleric. I know the worship of Zon Kuthon well enough to keep the local worshippers happy and the state officials at bay. That will allow these people to return to their homes without being harassed.

"Good to know they are safe and can go home now." Delta is relieved that Teflar is now gone.

"Acolyte Kareida, I hope you'll share some of your knowledge with me. I'm on a journey to learn more about religious practices. Let's get these folks settled first, of course..."

Hyphy wraps Teflar in his mycelia and begins to absorb the nutrients of her body into his own, sucking the color out of her face, before joining the conversation.
"I know you will be a good priestess. And perhaps the Hero Scarecrow if someday that is needed again!"
