If you want to leave the last two towers to Ahmose, he can spend 4 bombs and we can fast forward to getting back to the crusaders. Getting to the chimera will be difficult, its on top of a toppled tower so the only practical way I can think to get to it is to fly. I suppose you could try to fight it while levitating or climbing.

As Ahmose continues to assault towers, the group heals up and plans out their next steps. After debating several approaches a plan starts to form.

"Ok, so let's see if I have all of this correct... Cecily, Dorek, and I will use the wand to arrive next to the chimera. Thawm and Aroden will support from here and will have the scroll of dimension door if needed. And Ahmose, you will join from the air. I think that about covers things. Now's the time for any final preparations."

Tandyn re-implants False Flanker in Dorek and casts Hermean Potential on Cecily, Dorek, and himself. And if he can see the chimera from here, he places smite on it.

"Wait until we land. We might want the catapult later and the chimera might break it in hard to fix ways if we're next to it. I saw what was left of the demon cows." Thawm explains.

Probably need to adjust my rates.

The Blue-scaled Kobold looks around at everyone else.
You guys stink. Taking baths in piss and vinegar now, I smell.

Turning around to look for the wizard, Ahmose's voice bellows!
Aroden! Can these guys get a Prestidigitation, please! Smells like an avocado had sex with an uglier avocado. Like hatefully.

The Alchemist reaches into his pocket, pulls out an orange, takes a big bite, spits it out and places the opened half over his nostrils.

Ahmose's thumbs up to Sir Tandyn's plan seems bit... casually granted....

The party prepares while Ahmose complains. The preparations culminate in Tandyn dramatically pointing at the Chimera, calling it out. They descend easily and evade capture just in time for reinforcements to be added to the catapult towers. Pursuit of you en mass is quickly quelled by your own army establishes a forward operating base near the bridge and the two armies quickly are at a stand off, neither side willing to make the first move.

As you approach you spy your target for a 2nd time, an amalgam of white dragon, snow leopard, and dark furred mountain goat. It quickly starts tracing your path with one head following Tandyn and company while another traces a strange blue blob in the sky. When you approach even closer two of its heads roar in protest, the third brays which is somehow louder and reverberates in your chest.

The Beast of Drezen quickly takes flight on its scaled wings, deciding to go after the closer target. The dragon head pulls a chunk of flesh from Ahmose gobbling it down greedily. Hit and 11 damage.

Cecily has kept up with the group so far while staring at the Chimera in wonderment - it moves so quickly and with such ferocity, she can barely keep her eyes off of it. Then it swoops down to them and threatens to do to her party what it did to the aurochs. The blast of frigid hail buffets the party and snaps Cecily out of her almost reverie, her body responding almost by itself, and remarkably she manages to twist and deflect any serious damage. When the blast passes, she's in her aggressive stance.

She steps up beside Sir Tandyn, her eyes still locked on the Chimera. "So this is how a dragon fights." She spares a glance in his direction. "We need to bring him down. Should he play by our rules? Or can you put us up there to bring him down?" She flexes her claws, knuckles cracking.

AC 27, swift to enter dragon style, 5 ft step, standard to ready a grapple if the chimera is within her reach.

Its feline head takes the brunt of the bomb, charring it to the bone. 12 damage after resistance. Aroden takes himself and Thawm to safety, gone but not out of the fight. Dorek thrusts his gladius up into the chin of the dragon’s head, and thrusts it up into its brain. The locksmith then disappears and reemerges into its long shadow, the locksmith frets nervously. Hit and 19 damage due to unbeaten DR

Finally the rhyme- covered paladin, after a short prayer to the Inheritor, chops the dragon head off cleanly with a single stroke of Radiance. The Beast of Drezen is drops limp, dead and defeated, ending a major threat to the siege.

Aroden walks back over with Thawm. The lingering magic of the scroll flickers around him, and he suddenly realizes how to cast it.
With the 2 free spells in the spellbook for reaching Wiz7, one is Dimension Door.

"My apologies for using up that scroll. It was a valuable resource. But I believe I have mastered its magic now.
It turned out to be unnecessary, given Dorek's strike and the masterful blow by Sir Tandyn, but my sight of the future only extends so far.
For my part, Dorek, I do not regret drawing the beast's ire. Doing so hopefully spared Ahmose a worse fate."

"Should we speed up the healing so that we may rejoin the army? I know we have a good number of healing potions that are rarely a viable option in the midst of combat."

Tandyn takes a knee, holds Radiance in front of him, and hangs his holy symbol from it. Thank you, Iomedae. The Beast of Drezen lies slain in your name. He continues to watch it vigilantly. He didn't usually pray with his eyes open, but he wasn't about to trust something that almost ate his friends even if it's almost certainly dead. He gets about halfway through his silent prayer when the wave of mythic energy hits him. Surely this was her affirmation. He continues his silent prayer but something is different... the other voice in his head is reciting along.

"and we saw that rip into the Abyss... are you feeling ok?" He begins chopping the other heads off. "Surely these will reassure Nurah..." He continues the grisly work until all three heads are ready for transport. He takes a moment to clean Radiance, stow his shield, and nod at the regathering team. "Well that was vicious. As the beast dies, Cecily drops to one knee and clutches at her temples. She hears a terrible echoing shriek reverberating in her skull, the death cry of the white dragon head. The wisps of frost still clinging to her from the chimera's foul breath rapidly expand and she's enveloped in sharp icicles for a brief moment. Her mouth opens in a soundless scream and a hoary fog pours out of it, leaving her teeth briefly coated in needle-pointed icicles that melt away as she struggles to gain her breath. When she gains her feet, she looks leaner and harder edged, her horns a little longer and a little sharper, a thin speck of silvery-white at the roots of her hair. She hasn't suffered so much as a scratch.

She stares at the corpse of the beast for a moment as Sir Tandyn sets to his grisly work, then takes stock of the rest of the group. They had all done well, even if the situation hadn't played out as they had planned. She had done...well, she had been present. Maybe she had learned something about fighting flying opponents. Thawm looks at the "egg", then back to Cecily, then to Dorek, then back to Cecily, then back to the "egg".
"Yes? No- er- maybe? It looks like an egg." she explains.

"Maybe a phoenix egg? But the size of a chicken egg instead of a wine cask. Maybe it was a dwarf-phoenix. Anyone see a very tiny phoenix fly by?" she adds, speculating wildly.
