Most of the guests are looking a bit concerned, but are keeping their composure while they let Constance take care of the problem in her own yard. One of them, however, has a scowl clear on her face. "You said that the plants couldn't be intelligent enough to talk," she mutters loud enough to be heard - which earns her a quick glance from Constance.

Perception (sense motive) DC 16:
Most of the guests are a bit uncomfortable with the presence of larger and clearly intelligent leshies. A diplomatic approach to them specifically could sway them to your side.

Constance and the party guests have not spotted anyone other than Popcorn, though they are all on guard. Stealth into the open area where the tables are isn't going to work, though you could try a dash and grab.

The glass domes are too heavy for the tiny leshies to lift on their own. They are also on the center of the table, so it will be out of reach for small creatures from the floor. You can climb on a chair or onto the table itself with no check and can push over the dome - where it will roll onto the floor and shatter with a satisfying crash - also with no check needed.

The chairs and table are difficult terrain. Which isn't as important when not counting time in actions, but will be useful information to know if/when combat breaks out.

Constance looks a bit shocked as two more angry plants step out from her bushes making threats. Switching tactics, she scowls and starts yelling as well.

"Honestly, can you believe the audacity of some ... things," she says, while looking back at her guests. But in looking back, she sees two facts staring back at her that she is not happy to see. One, that most of her guests do in fact believe the audacity, and two, that there is a fourth leshy now climbing onto one of the tables.

"Hey! Get down from there, you stupid sneaky shrub. Those are my plants," she shrieks - all pretense of civility lost.

Before Combat

Sensing the situation heading south, Pixie casts Nettleskin on herself.

Nettleskin Details:
Thorns sprout from your body; they pass through and don't damage any clothing or armor you wear. Adjacent creatures that hit you with a melee or unarmed attack take 1d4 piercing damage as the nettles jab them and break off. Each time a creature takes damage in this way, nettleskin's duration decreases by 1 round.

During Combat

"Ugh, this is so like human nobles!" Pixie complains, stepping forward a bit and assessing the situation. As much as she'd love to use one of her better spells, like Burning Hands, it seemed too many of her allies were in the crossfire. Instead, she holds her spongy hands in front of her to cast Produce Flame at Honeysuckle.

Spell Attack, Ranged: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16

Pixie casts Guidance on herself before she finishes...just in case.

Her attack misses, but...If I read it correctly, Pixie's bloodline is earth elemental - so her damage with these elemental spells becomes bludgeoning with the Earth trait rather than Fire and it's rubble rather than fire. If I'm not, then...ignore all of that? I feel silly for how often I get confused by some of this stuff.

When Mint hits the table, Solyin takes a panicked and premature leap onto the chair still occupied by Zitha. In a tangle of tiny branches, both roll from the chair to the ground and land in a heap.

-----

Bamboo, seeing that Popcorn is in the hands of Wisteria, continues its instructions to defeat all of the unknown large leshies at the same time. It bends itself into a taut position and launches its head at Fengal again.

Strike: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25
damage(bludgeoning): 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Then it bends itself taut again ready to launch again at a moment's notice.

Popcorn isn't looking so healthy at the moment, though he still has about as many HP as the rest of you. The Honeysuckle leshy (yellow) is also looking rather ragged at the moment.

As Fengal casts his healing spell, the Bamboo leshy takes advantage of the distraction that the spellcasting requires to attack again.

↺Coiled Opportunity
Strike: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (8) + 10 = 18

And misses once more as Fengal's spellcasting moves his hands around too fast for him to target properly.

It is not required to drop the spear, though you certainly can if you have some plan in mind. You can cast using somatic components with your hands full.

"I can't get them open. Constance," she calls across the battle, "you can't keep us here. Let us out. Who has the key for this gate?"

"Don't you dare open that gate," Constance screeches.

Seeing the Honeysuckle Leshy staring in confusion at Pixie, still covered in spiky thorns that hurt a lot to hit, Constance hollers at it, "Don't just stand there looking stupid. Keep her away from the gate. And stop those plants."

Honeysuckle dutifully goes over to Melanie and grabs at her and swats at Fengal.

Fengal continues dodging attacks from his foes.

Zitha and Solyin pick themselves up off the ground and scamper past Pixie and hide in the bushes.
