Two quick questions: Do you want us to just roll when we think we should roll something or would you rather ask? And where do you want rolls?

Feel free to roll when you think it might be appropriate, if I don't think it's warranted, I won't have the success or failure impact the scene.

If it's a roll I call for, roll I/C.

If it's a roll I don't call for, roll I/C but in spoilers.

Will update tonight now that we have some movement :-).

Sorry work is kicking my ass.

Also Donato is out, I will probably bot him in the short term.

Out but will be returning, or...?

Fully out.

Update tonight.

Ugh work!

I'll give till tonight for any further reaction then I will move us along.

Would the name of Lord Casmir be known to Henry? IIRC he has a bit of an infamous reputation among the clan due to his ties with the Conspiracy of Issac, though I'm not sure that's something the main clan would speak about much.

Between your Occult score and your age you would know who he is if not exactly what he has done. If you wish to recollect a bit more about him I/G, make an Intelligence+Occult roll DC 8, more successes allows you to recall more things about him, your 10s count twice on this roll.

Got it, hope it's okay to roll here.

Intelligence+Occult: 10d10 ⇒ (6, 3, 7, 2, 2, 9, 5, 9, 4, 1) = 48

Pity, only one success.

Henry Gaden:
Yep, absolutely ok to roll here.

Lord Casmir was one of the Conspirators of Isaac who assisted the Giovanni in diablerizing Cappadocius, the founder of the Cappadocian Clan who they ultimately usurped.

He has been rumored to have been destroyed. However, if this Donato is young, it appears that the rumors of his final death were greatly exaggerated.

int occult dc 8 : 9d10 ⇒ (3, 1, 5, 8, 2, 3, 9, 6, 4) = 41 2 successes Trait allows to ignore one 1

Family in town. Posting will be spotty at best until Sunday evening.

Updates tonight or tomorrow, wanted to give people time to chime in but then I got too busy to push us forward. Still time for anyone who has not posted to do so before the scene moves along.

Updates tonight/tomorrow busy work week.

Sorry, weekend didn't slow down. Update now.

I believe that one was worth the wait....

Giving Badger and Jim time to check in before I move us along in this scene and then to the next scene. I knew that would be a big post so it slowed me down a bit. Smaller posts moving forward, at least for a while to get the action moving forward quicker now.

I appreciate your patience folks!

Started house hunting the last few weeks as if I wasn't busy enough already....

I have nothing to add.

Sarah is completely overwhelmed as she has never experienced something like this before! Therefore, she will seem more quite because she is one of the lowest ranking team members!

I sent Badger a PM as he's been pretty quiet of late.

Will move us along tonight.

sorry. i was going to make up some stuff about Beschi and pretend I knew it since i botched, but i'm drawing a blank and have been too long without a post.

Male Vampire Tremere

No worries, here I was counting botches as just not knowing anything :-)

Badger's absolutely the type to be confidently incorrect and expect to just talk his way out of it later. "If you can't be both, better lucky than good."

We can keep up this interaction as long as the PCs like, no further NPCs will be involved this evening. It will give you all a chance to "get to know" one another before we move the action along away from Prime Chantry.

Jim:
You would due to having grown up in China and wandering the continent for a bit, have the same level of knowledge about the Shen as a Level 1 Occult knowledge. You can provide an overview but no significant details. Feel free to do so if you so choose!

It appears that the PCs are a bit in awe of events that transpired!

I will move us along by tomorrow to the next scene.

Yeah, my apologies, I had nothing really to add here.

No worries, I would have moved this along quicker, but work has been crazy lately.

Damn, worked late again last night and I was too tired to move this along, will do so later this evening as I have, still yet, more work to do...

With the Holidays almost here in the US, I'll give a few more days for responses. If I don't see any activity, I will move the group along on Monday as I will have some time in the morning to do so, I don't have plans till mid day that day.

Not feeling too hot, updates tomorrow.

Between work and being sick I had no time or energy this week, updates tonight after all the family stuff!

Hi. I’m super sorry but I’m trying to reduce my RPG and this will not continue anymore.

All the best to you.

Thanks

Sorry to hear that!

Happy gaming.

For the forseeable future I will continue to run Sarah and Donato, just an FYI.

Updates either tonight or Saturday night, work and death by a thousand cuts on other stupid RL s#+~ is just slamming me at the moment.

how fine is control over radius of Silence of Death? like... could i use it just to silence my footsteps?

I'd have to take another look at the power to see if it could be applied that way, at the moment, there is not much of a point during this portion of the scene as this train is hopping and full of mortals!

Yeah, I figured it was a bit early to need it, so I didn't bother in game, but should probably know for later.

Also, I just realized I never picked additional languages, but, in my head, Badger isn't fluent in anything but English. He just knows enough to charm and impress all over Europe. He couldn't hold an extended conversation in anything but English though.

And now he knows whatever he learned from Master Beschi as well.

The British Empire has enough folks speaking English even from other locations that you could pick that all up in English.

Work, again. I'll update tonight.

Can Henry also cast Mirror of Second Sight? Depending on how big the mirror is, we might want to carry a few of these in order to make sure the people we're surrounded by are entirely mundane.

Also, how are we handling vitae? These rituals are going to cost Henry a few bp, but he has access to his herd on the train so can he recover his pool to max?

Yep, you can cast the mirror.

Assume the entourage of Mortals includes Retainers AND Herd, ar least for now!

I'll give till tomorrow night, if I don't hear anything I will assume the prep I described and the ritual cast by Henry are the extend of prep and move on!

I'll give the rest of the coterie a chance to join with Marcus or not till tomorrow evening when I move the two scenes along. The current PC's turned DMPCs will not be going as I prefer PCs to take direct action!

I imagine Henry would stay with Beschi, especially as the man does not think its a big concern. Though if everyone else intends to go, happy to send Henry along for the sake of plot and simplicity.

No need to go at all if you wish to stay, plenty of conversing to do with the coterie members who will stay behind.
