Several of you struggle to find any meaningful information, but not Axtin, who manages to find a fair bit about Whitforge's recent activity:
Ishkitik, hearing about the activity at the metal shop and having personal experience in such places, digs a little deeper. She's able to glean some very interesting information that's right in her wheelhouse!
- (a) the shop is unlikely to have the equipment necessary to mitigate the vulnerabilities that are often inherent to robots--these guardians are likely vulnerable to electricity and critical hits
- (b) a shipment of seed nanites and a programming unit were among the materials delivered, of a type that are often used to create self-healing modules in robots
- (c) several large containers of acid were among the deliveries, hinting at caustic abilities in the machines
- (d) several crates of pressure-sensitive micro-panels were delivered, hinting at a system designed to react to being struck.

Ixthia urges you to head to the shop and, if you find Whitforge, to neutralize her quickly. They remind you that she may access to some sort of teleportation device, and posits that a small strike team such as you that is capable of moving with some stealth and speed has the best chance of capturing her; you're also the only team nearby and spun up for action, so...But don't worry! Backup agents will be dispatched as soon as they become available!
Anything you'd like to do before heading to the metal shop? If I don't see anything here or in Discord by tomorrow night, I'll assume you're ready to move out.

While the group prepares to go to Whitforge's shop, Obo runs to the nearest vending machine and purchases a handful of goods.
Obo has 464 credits, so I'm going to grab another 5 Serums of Healing Mk 1 (250 credits) and 4 Mk 1 Shock Grenades (200 credits).
I'm also going to drink some of those serums to get up to full HP.

Following the information you found, you arrive at an otherwise unassuming metal shop. The building stands about 40 feet high and has no visible windows. A locked steel door bars a small entryway. Lucky for you, Ishkitik is paying close attention and spots a trap set in the entryway before any of you stumbled into it, spraying corrosive gas over you!
You can disable the trap with an Engineering check to jam the vent closed or a Physical Science check to neutralize the gas. Once you have dealt with the trap (or set it off and suffered the consequences), you can unlock the door with a Computers or Engineering check, or you can break it down in the usual ways (Athletics to break it down or damaging it enough through its hardness), though that would likely be noisy enough to alert anyone inside.

Pious wipes his hands clean on the coveralls he's been wearing and begins taking out tools. "Ishitik, I'll be happy to assist - do you think we could slide this panel over that vent if we loosened it?" he whispers.
Auto-assist Engineering and Computer checks to disable the trap and open the door.

Ishkitik and Pious work together to neutralize the trap in the doorway. Now we need an Engineering check to pick the lock, or some checks to bust it down.

Sharmain secures her staff where she can easily reach it if necessary and readies her static arc pistol in preparation for robots.
She stands watch while allowing the experts the space they need to prepare to enter.
"Before anyone enters, please allow me to cast haste", she quietly communicates.

Ishkitik and Pious quietly unlock the door. They wait for Sharmain to cast a quickening spell before connecting the final wires, causing the door to click open!
As you step inside, you see agent Whitforge standing near a baggage cart, now wearing a uniform identical to the ones worn by the assassins in the cell block. She's busy directing several robots as they tear down all the equipment along with any identifying information inside the shop. Seeing you, she mutters "Damn, thought I'd have a little more time. Robots, get them!"
Baggage cart is a low obstacle. For ease of play, the robots have torn down all the other objects in the room enough that you can ignore them.

Flitting through the room with her magically-enhanced speed, Obo quickly catches up to Whitforge. Heh, out of time indeed, she thinks as she closes the distance in the blink of an eye.
Movement as part of haste using my hasted 60 foot movement speed! Quick drawing and activating the doshko as a I go.
As she ends her movement next to Whitforge, she swing the doshko in a wide arc, hoping to connect. The flames spring up from the shaft just before impact.

Obozaya does what she does best, reacting quickly and dashing forward with all the magically-enhanced speed she can muster as she brings her doshko to bear on the traitorous agent! Whitforge grunts in pain as the big vesk connects on two brutal blows.
The robots that had until a moment ago been busy dismantling the generator in the northeast corner of the room spin around and move toward Obozaya, firing integrated rifles at her from the other side of the carts.

The first one melts away a bit of the cart, but the second manages to find an opening, the caustic blast chewing into the Vesk's armor. One miss, one hit.
The other two abandon their tasks and rush toward Obozaya as well, one of them firing their rifle while the other rushes into melee range.

Pious takes advantage of the haste to run into the room and open fire at Whitforge. He scans his memory for any pertinent information on the robots facing them, but does hope that dropping the handler will hamper the automated enemies.

Pious rushes in to attack Whitforge, but in his haste he telegraphs his swings; the agent manages to dodge both blows. He does manage to remember a few additional things about the robots, beyond what Ishkitik already recognized. Pious recognizes that the pressure plates Ishkitik recognized are connected to the acid component; when hit by a nearby enemy, a robot can spray acid over their attacker as a reaction. He also recognizes that they are vulnerable to critical hits.

Whitforge draws a pistol as she darts around the baggage cart (provoking from Obozaya). She gestures one direction, then fires quickly from the other, trying to catch Obozaya off guard!

Sharmain creates a wisp of light which moves in to harass the traitorous Whitforge. She seems completely unfazed, however, and it doesn't seem to throw her off at all. She has enough Operative stuff (in this case, Uncanny Agility) that I'm afraid Harrying Fire doesn't do any good against her.
Axtin lands a well-placed shot on the robot nearest Obozaya, meanwhile, which Ishkitik follows by directing Ishkitok to land an equally well-placed blow. The electricity from both wounds crackles through the machine, causing it to spasm and slightly smoke, but still it continues on. Axtin and Ishkitok both hit, Ishkitik missed. With vulnerability that's 39 total damage between the two blows.
As Ishkitok's doshko impacts the robot's outer shell, it releases a gout of acid that washes over the Ishkitok!

Obozaya hits Whitforge hard as she moves away, then turns and hacks viciously into the robot behind her. Her first blow cracks its casing open, and her second smashes it to pieces! She then runs after Whitforge. Killed that robot on the second attack.
The remaining robots all converge on the big vesk as she approaches Whitforge.

Obozaya smacks one of the robots, leaving a sizeable crack in its casing. When she does, however, the pressure plates on its surface light up and spray a gout of acid over the vesk!

Pious darts in, keeping his distance from the enemies as he heals some of Obozaya's wounds, then retreats. Whitforge similarly moves to the northern end of the room, in search of a better shot at Obozaya, As soon as she's clear of the robot so makes a quick dart to one side and fires at the big vesk!

Badly wounded, Obozaya carefully makes a tactical retreat. While Axtin works to lift the vesk's spirits, Sharmain rushes in to heal more of her wounds.
Ishkitok, meanwhile, connects on one of the robots with her second strike. Ishkitik finishes the job with a well-placed shot, but not before Ishkitok is once again sprayed with a gout of acid.

Clearly whitforge has programmed her robots well, as both engage rockets in their feet and fly over the barricade, the first to arrive holding its strike until the other has reached position to split Obozaya's attention! #1 move and ready a strike until #2 got into position. #2's movement provokes from Sharmain if she has a melee weapon.

Pious had a few SP missing in his tagline already (39/42); he took 54 damage this round, so if that was correct then he is now at 0/42 SP, 25/40 HP. I don't remember him getting hit since you've had a chance to rest, though, so if he's actually at full then he's at 28hp instead.
