Zenith has a thought to chase down green and throw their trusty starknife at them, but Zenith remembers to not resort to deadly attacks. Instead, they stash their whip and attempt to grab the Red with their now free-hand. Finally Zenith follows up their moment of flair with a confident strike with the blunt side of their starknife.

Red twists out of the way and avoids Ithuriel's electric attack entirely. However, he's not quick enough to escape Zenith, who successfully grabs him. Zenith whacks Red with the blunt end of their starknife, which is enough to rattle Red's resolve. Finally, Argoni convinces Red that surrender is the best option.

COMBAT OVER

Shortly after the last kayal surrenders, Sorrina Westyr arrives in the chamber. Sorrina is also attempting to investigate the attack and is surprised to find you here. Noticing that some of you are hurt, she heals your wounds (You are now all back to 100%) and tries her best to learn what exactly transpired during the fight.

Shortly after Sorrina’s arrival, another figure enters the room: a hobgoblin man clad in heavy armor, carrying a wicked looking halberd. As he enters, he’s tinkering with a humming wayfinder and, noting that things seem to have settled down for the moment.

"Ah! Toldrar! Glad you're here. These are the Pathfinders who responded to the initial alarm."

She turns back to you, saying "This is Toldrar. He's the new Head of Security for the Grand Lodge, but I'll let him tell you more about himself."

Behind Toldrar comes a heavily armored dwarf, huffing and puffing as he tries to keep in step with Toldrar.

Still a bit preoccupied with his Wayfinder, Toldrar greets you and shakes your hands. The wayfinder's humming ends with a brief chirp, which causes Toldrar to become elated and sport a large grin. He pockets his wayfinder, lightly bobbing his head with excitement.

"Ah, Pathfinders, it’s been an exciting day, hasn’t it? I’ve been hard at work lately, working with your Spells and your Swords to improve defenses around the Grand Lodge. Gods know it was due for an overhaul. Well, I can say that the new defenses work! While it will take some time to reimplement all of the defenses that are getting used up or destroyed today, the fact of the matter is that they worked. Even the initial implementation of the wards and everything else seemed to have dealt a major blow to our attackers today, and I consider that a splendid success. From the looks of things, we’re under attack by the Onyx Alliance, a ruthless mercantile organization from Shadow Absalom!"

"We’ve had other recent run-ins with the Onyx Alliance, but now is not the time for a history lesson. We’re still under attack! But I think we can make quick work of these intruders. See, I know something they don’t: I can see where they are. Well, not directly. It’s more of a ‘fumbling about in the dark while someone holds a candle at the other end of the room’ situation, but we still know plenty that we can use to sort this all out. According to the wards and reports I’m receiving, the attackers are spread out inside Skyreach, and we have a general understanding of where they are. I think I can gather a group to clean up what’s left. Since you’re already here, though, I think I’ll let you take care of everything on this floor while Sorrina and I work through the rest of Skyreach." Toldrar gives a nod and another smile. "Let’s get to work, shall we?"

"Now then, there are two areas that need someone to address:"

"First, a defensive trap appears to be active in a nearby area, and you need to manually deactivate the trap before it’s safe to lift the seals and allow access into the halls again. The trap is a magical pillar of fire that runs on tracks and can be deactivated from a control panel in the room’s southwest corner. Reports state that there are a number of sizable creatures in the hall, and the area should be considered dangerous."

"Second, reports note that several intruders have barricaded themselves in an archive on this floor. At the moment, these intruders haven’t done any damage to the archive’s contents, and I hope to keep it that way. Take things slow here and try to find a non-violent end to the matter, lest they risk damage to an important repository."

"You can do these tasks in any order you choose. Meet back here when you've dealt with both tasks. If you were able to defeat this bunch, you should be able to defeat the rest. Oh, before you go, I think you can use these."

Skyreach holds a number of archives, libraries, and storerooms, most containing important pieces of the Society’s history. These range from old records and ancient relics to simple items, like a quill that once belonged to a notable venture-captain. The archive on this floor is one such room, housing a number of unpublished logs and journals from far back in the Society’s past. While the Society may never publish anything from these items in the Pathfinder Chronicles, they are still a valuable resource.

When you arrive at the archive, you find Janira Gavix already there, surveying the scene.

"Thank goodness you've arrived! Some of the intruders have taken refuge in the archives. I tried to enter earlier to try to talk to them but was unsuccessful. I think they've realized that they're cornered without any real means of escape and, from what I've heard, you might be able to persuade them to surrender. I'd rather not have a fight break out in there, as irreparable damage could be done to the items inside."

Although we're in initiative, The four kayals start off as shaken so you have a chance to get them to come out peacefully. A failure means that you'll need to resort to combat to get them to surrender (essentially making them shaken like the previous encounter). The point is not to damage the archives through combat if you can. Not as easy as it sounds :)

Avery follows the others while Sophia flies ahead but quickly turns back to her upon seeing the flickering flames. She readies her weapon just as she always has to. "Maybe we should check beyond that..." she points to the cloudy area.

A suit of full plate, Dwarven sized and shaped, clanks on behind the group. Their visor is down, only a fluff of dark black beard sticking out from beneath it. They grab an offered healing potion from the hobgoblin, shake their hand in thanks, then hustle after the others.

Before they can even get a word in as an introduction Mirtha has a herd of strange creatures surrendering Silver tongue on that gnome, a lawyer? A judge?

Finally as they approach the final set of stairs the visor flips up and introduction given.

"You all move with great speed and purpose. If only my apprentices at the forge all had your sense of urgency." He says in all seriousness, removing a gauntlet and offering a firm handshake to each of you. "I'm Kernal Klank, Pathfinder by day, blacksmith by night. Good to meet you all." He gives a quick look over at each, doing his best to slot each of you neatly into a role based on outward appearances. His role is quite obvious as a heavily armored, twice shielded, hammer swinging stalwart.

Once intros are completed his visor drops back down and draws out a spiked steel shield emblazoned with a hammer striking an anvil, giving reverence to Torag. He leaves his other hand free at the moment, moving up the stairs to get a peak at the pillar of fire.

To flank a foe, you and your ally must be on opposite sides of the creature. A line drawn between the center of your space and the center of your ally's space must pass through opposite sides or opposite corners of the foe's space.

so strictly speaking, a tiny creature that is not using a reach weapon will never be able to draw a line through opposite sides or corners of an enemy(Zenith) and never be able to flank.

Here is a reddit thread for some other peoples thoughts on this though. Most GM's seem to agree, but I think i saw one GM disagree.

Zenith attempts another tumble maneuver to put some distance between the creatures. Then they strike twice at pink or blue Whomever got most injured from Ithuriel's electric arc. The second strike Zenith confidently attempts to strike the creatures wings!
