Argiss makes the final argument necessary to get all the Weydenites onboard with allying with the Starfinders.

In fact, they are so convincing that Wander-Fourth, likely the least willing to ally with them gives them a pair of xenowarden's boots as a sign of goodwill.

Bennock addresses you after the daily briefing one morning.

“How would you folks feel about getting out of camp and doing a little exploration? It’s time we did some more scouting to find supplies.”

Bennock pauses, holding up his hands, “Now look, I don’t want anyone to panic or anything. We’re fine; we were well equipped for our planned dig. We have enough supplies to last a good while yet. Still... I honestly have no idea how long we’re going to be stuck here; none of us do. If we’re potentially going to need to survive for the long term, we’re going to need to find some local supplies. That means food, it means fresh water, it means fuel of some sort, and it means various materials to craft things. I’d like you to venture out for a few days, see what you can find. Bring back some samples of anything that seems useful, but don’t load yourselves down too much. We can send another team out better equipped for the job of hauling things back once you’ve identified some sources.”

As they travel through the dense forest, Bonkers identifies plants that will bear edible fruit in the coming months. The terrain steadily rises as they travel, emerging from the forest into low foothills surrounding a larger mountain range. Several streams pour down the mountains. From this elevated vantage point, Bonkers spots and records the location of the nearest point to collect water. He also identifies rock formations in the hills likely to contain mineral useful for creating needed supplies.

Weeks later, having successfully found what they are looking for, the group returns to base.

Bot-wearing-Keskodai-skin picks up one of the branches that were hurled at them with its mind and flings it back.

The comm units of every Starfinder in the area chime in unison, and Bennock’s face appears. “Howdy, folks. I want to give you all a quick update on the study group that’s been looking into some strange energy phenomena some of you’ve been noticing lately. They’ve been taking readings and reviewing your accounts of strange happenings, and they’ve put together a report. I’ll forward the whole thing to you, but the main takeaway, at least for me, is that this energy seems to be connected to the Plane of Earth somehow. That’s odd, but what worries me more is that the energy levels are rising. Who knows what that will mean for us if it continues, but—”

Bennock’s message is interrupted by a chime. He looks down, frowns, and returns his worried gaze to the screen. “Sounds like the energy levels are spiking as I speak. I don’t know what that means for us, but I doubt it will be good. Everyone, head to your duty stations and be prepared for anything!”

Gunfire and shouting suddenly ring through the camp. Bennock broadcasts a message to every Starfinder in camp. “All hands, to the wall! We have wildlife attacking, and we’re in danger of being overrun! All-hands, to the wall!”

The sounds of combat echo everywhere as the western wall comes into view. Loud, booming blows rattle the gate before it is violently knocked from its track, landing against the ground with a thud.

The perimeter wall around the Starfinder camp is constructed of a patchwork of materials salvaged from crashed starships. Near the western end of camp, it is primarily composed of shipping containers that once held supplies for the planned archaeological expedition. The containers are 15 feet tall with ladders bolted to the interior. A metal gate constructed from a starship bulkhead spans the gap between the containers. The heavy gate slides along a track buried in the ground, allowing travel to and from camp along a muddy road leading into the forest. Starfinders placed gun mounts along the wall, which hold a variety of long arms and heavy weapons. Beyond the gate, agents cleared a 20-foot-wide defensive perimeter, beyond which is a region of sparse trees and underbrush before the dense forest begins.

As the team arrive they see a group of hepongols, strangely altered by the planar energy leaking into Rucabi-2, have fought through the outer defenses and breached the wall. They look confused and enraged, ready to attack anything in their way.

I hope I have copied the correct tokens from previous maps. I am also guessing you have previously identified the creatures as it looks like you fought them on another map.
