Welcome aboard Uldruk and Moira. As for the feats, you can't use any of them in combat. We have the GM's house rule on max hit points from healing out of combat (see post above of 06/27), so stick to Plan A and don't waste 2 feats.

In combat healing is nice but two feats is a lot. Is grabbing a cure spell at your next Bard level an alternative?
Well, I could do that if you prefer. I have to say, however, that picking a cure spell at these lower levels is usually meh at the beginning and totally terrible at the end because of the lack of scaling. The other option has a steep cost but will be better when we reach the high game (even better if retraining is allowed and I can pick Heal skill unlock). Also, my idea of the Bard is giving support, so I wouldn't mind.
What I would do is remove Dazzling Display (and leave it for the 7th level choice), then pick Heal instead of Intimidate for Scrivener's Versatility choice (and pick Intimidate at 6th level).
If you rather have me cast a spell, I can remove Mirror Image, for example, and pick it later on. That would mean a 2d8+5 cure thrice per day if I don't cast any other spell of that level.

Well, difficult, yeah, but they could be used. It's a full round after all.
But as you wish.

It’s actually pretty strong healing if you do the math—average 24.5 points of healing right now (limited to recent injuries but that shouldn’t be a problem). Full round action so you need to be within a five foot step. And once per day per person.
So yeah, 2 feats is a lot but it is stronger than CMW when it hits. I’m up for it if you are.
*Edit*-I didn’t account for chance of failure on a low roll, which is a drawback. My conclusion is the same, play what you want!

Hi! We did start with two wands of CLW, which should go to Uldruk. We were also each given a handful of potions. Should be in the first or second GM post.

Sorry guys! Yesterday night I was doing a lot of calculations to check which option was best - also consulting with my heart, since I really wanted to know which was the most appealing. The initial idea was to area demoralise to allow casters a bonus to stick in their spells. But that can wait one more level, I think. However, sleep caught me while in the middle of all this research :(
So I'll make the changes today, put the lines for quick reference and jump in. Thank you for your patience, folks!
Edit: I'm making these changes with the idea of retraining Incredible Healer to Skill Unlock later on (by level 10). If the GM won't allow retraining, or think it won't be feasible, I would ask to be told in advance so as to leave skill ranks as they are. Thank you!

So I've been reading a bit and it doesn't really say you need one specific Performance. Nor any specific skill ranks and, damn, not even Performance at all. Just this:
"Every bard spell has a verbal component (song, recitation, or music)."
So I guess I can just... recite? Use Performance: Oratory as long as I have some ranks? I don't know. I'm just going to assume you have to use a Verbal component.
There's even more weirdness when you think about the Chronicler of Worlds. His star ability is Linguistics, but he still has to have a Performance and we don't know that he can handwave the Verbal component requirement anyway, so I can't help thinking of Tolkien doing the Conga.

Re: 20-25 orcs, well, I think we'll have to deal with them the old way. Could there be a place where we can use a doorstep to our advantage, à la Diablo 1?
So we appear, we will what we can kill and then we regroup to reduce number advantage.
Or, as Michael Caine would say in Zulu, "gentlemen, they are about ten thousand and we're about a hundred. But since every British soldier is worth like a thousand of them, the numbers give us advantage".

The 3 half-ogres are on the roof of the gatehouse, the 6 orcs are in the barbican, we should be able to deal with each of them separately, and separately from everyone else. (hopefully)
The orcs around the pit are drinking and presumably not armed. If we can cut them off from their weapons it'll make it easier.
We could try to help the dwarf by shooting the bear or something, that'll cause confusion. Or chucking a better weapon down? Which'll mean he'll be more help later. If we can make them think it was another orc that did it, that'll keep the element of surprise.
There also should be another dwarf somewhere who we can maybe rescue. If there's no obvious leader around the pit, then they are probably in one of the tents.

Yeah! Maybe we come back... as ghosts! XD

I'm going to be away this coming week, and may have difficulty posting. This battle I'll use Aid Another while fighting defensively, will try to get into flanking positions if feasible. If I can't get into melee I'll pop off an acid splash on a convenient enemy.

Hey!
Sorry guys. I've been on a trip for 5 days. I thought I posted in all my games, but it's obvious I didn't... Sorry once again!
I'll catch up with you and post in a small while.

The ability to roll a 20 when needed is way better than any bonus to Diplomacy! :P
