Moira has an obsessive fondness for shiny things, one that leads her to wistfully dream about swimming in gems and precious metals. Growing up as an orphan in Janderhoff, her needs were met by the ever-dutiful dwarven community. Her wants, on the other hand, were often denied as inappropriate. In her eyes, wealth was the one thing she was lacking, the key to achieving her personal freedom.
Perhaps it was Moira's innate lust for material wealth that led her to eschew the dwarven ways of honor and integrity, to take short cuts to living out her dreams. In the eyes of her community, Moira was called the Lost, a wayward dwarf. Still, pushing against Moira's greed is a foundational dwarven loyalty to clan. She had a love for her people, even if direct, personal love was lacking in her life. Moira might be seen as a mischief maker at home, but she'll be the first to defend a fellow dwarf when there's a threat coming from outside.
Perhaps that was why Moira found herself a member of the Sentinels, a Janderhoff strike team. Moira's rebellious streak made her skilled in things like breaking and entering, which was rather unusual. After intense dwarven training, Moira learned the fine art of battle using the Dwarven War Shield, mixing defense and offense to surprising effect.
