Uldruk:

Uldruk Rockhorn is the grandson of the famous Thordrek Rockhorn, the Giant Slayer. When your grandpa is a living legend, you’ve surely got some pressure to live up to it.

There are some similarities in the different Rockhorns, but there are also some clear differences. Uldruk’s grandfather was a beast in combat, able to take down Giants on his own. His son Debrek, Uldruk’s father, wanted nothing to do with Giants or combat, and retired to a small and peaceful settlement somewhere in the Mindspin Mountains to craft his - somewhat - famous ale, Rockhorn’s Triple Black. Uldruk, on the other hand, felt his grandpa’s blood boiling inside... though he knew he was no great warrior. So he had to rely on other tactics.

He took notes of Thordrek’s lessons, and he realised he would need more than that, so he went out into the world to travel and take more notes. He then discovered he liked taking notes. He loved when travelers and adventurers told him tales and stories and he would write them down in his story book. He enjoyed learning about the ancient history of Golarion, about its inhabitants, about magic and even about other planes.

With all this knowledge also came the realisation that he was going to need an army if he ever wanted to fight Giants - or, at least, a good adventuring party - and he would definitely need something to contribute apart from his wits. With his first adventures he was able to amass enough gold and capabilities to get a scholarship at the famous Silver Hall Academy in Janderhoff, where he honed his skills to influence others to another degree.

So there he was, back in the ancestral home of his family, finally ready to wander the world again and do what his heart most desired, when he was offered the opportunity of his life. Apparently, apart from keeping and imparting knowledge, the Academy served a hidden purpose - it was in fact a secret recruiting place for young talents for one of the most prestigious elite group in the Dwarven army. The Dwarven Strike Force offered Uldruk a chance to apply, which he quickly capitalised from, knowing that would bring him the best opportunity to dedicate himself to his dreams of living up to his grandfather.
