FYI, if you format your dice code with a semicolon between two different dice (or dice pools) in the same line (as in (dice)1d10;1d6(/dice), it outputs them separately without adding them up, which is very useful for rolling a standard ability check plus rolling the Wild die:

Fliss, could you please narrate the scene as Gustav cuts you from the snake's belly? Story prompts: How did you manage to get swallowed whole? What were you doing in the forest? How do you still have all your equipment on you/Is your equipment somewhere nearby? How long were you in the snake's belly?
I was hoping Fliss was inside the snake. What a creative way for a party member to join a campaign.

Hey all, thanks for the well-wishes and things. I have issues with my eyes that will hopefully be fixed with surgery on Oct 13th. In the meanwhile the problem with my left eye has corrected itself and I can rejoin the game as long as I am welcome to.
The eye issues were compounded by getting Covid and a delay in my surgery, and then being in a car crash didn't help (fortunately no one was injured.) Very unfortunate time lately but I'm hoping all that will be in the past very soon.
I had a horible time with injuries last year, so you have much sympathy from me. I really hope the surgery goes well for you :)
Of course you are welcome back, Reckless. Glad you are doing better and wishing you a speedy recovery after the surgery!

Hey, I was just thinking about Advancement and would like to propose the following rule for this game. How about if I hand out an advancement for every 100 posts in the IC thread? That would mean that you could give yourself one advancement already, and would be well on your way toward the second. Do you think this is too fast? Not fast enough?
For those of you unfamiliar with Advancement in SWADE, they are usually handed out by the GM every session or two, but since that doesn't apply to PbP games, I though this would be a decent house rule. With each Advancement you can either increase an Attribute or Skill by one die, gain a new Edge or buy off a Hindrance.
Either post count or a set number of significant scenes would be a good way to deal with Advancement. I don’t know if 100 posts is too fast. I don’t really have a sense for what a comparable rate for advancing in pbp should be.
Well, I originally planned just to run just this adventure, not an entire campaign, so that would lead to me hand out Advancements more frequently.
I'm happy with that, although iirc this module gets you to level 3 (in PF terms) at the end and I'm not sure how that translates to SW advances.
