Awe shucks. Hancock would be surprised to find out anyone thought he needed protection.

GM Blake |

Apologies. I posted the wrong tier's DCs for Option 2. However, the results were the same.

Go ahead and place your tokens on the map within the white rectangle before taking your actions.

Did I understand that correctly? All of you allies can use a reaction to Stride within your aura, and Cercuciel gains a bonus one to use for this, which leaves him with his standard reaction(s)?

@ Flory: No critical fail effect, and, as I read the rules and this particular reaction, you don't take the effect of the Slow 1 until your next turn when you regain actions.

Yes.
It’s kinda PbP crazy.
Also important to note that folks are encouraged to think of the command as an offer, not a command, because although the character is bossy, his player is not. If you want to spend your reaction resource to stride instead, take it or leave it.
And yes, I gave our Defender a second reaction to use so they have the option to do their normal stuff as well as invited to stride.
=)

My thoughts of Hisaki's first turn..
As a first round option, form up can be pretty amazing given the mechanics of how actions work. At the beginning of one's turn is when their actions reset. As such, in a situation where a commander goes before allies and allies go before the enemy(s), the reaction spent by allies they just get back on their turn.
Also as such, granting Cercuciel an extra reaction is made a bit moot. This is not to complain, merely an analysis.

My thoughts behind Cercuciel's first turn...
Well, I honestly didn't think I'd be using Taunt. I pretty much wrote it off as a probably never use. But, this is a truly ideal opportunity. The qualifier in Taunt "..a hostile action.." works really well against this creature. Its action of slowing and its reaction of slowing would both be considered hostile 'actions'. As such its DC will be lowered against every other member of the party. The downside of it be higher vs me is...certainly worse, but thankfully Cercuciel has a pretty solid Fort save.
Hampering Sweeps probably isn't necessary to do, but it (at least) will prevent the creature from being able to flee.
I'm hoping that the Taunt's penalty to hit, in addition to likelihood that Cercuciel missed will set up Intercept Foe as a likely reaction to protect Hancock. This will mitigate any damage taken as opposed to a possibility of damage being dealt through an Intercept Strike.

Ah..
Kinda wish I'd known about pincer before doing my turn. I'd have stride 1 square and then stepped the last into adjacent.
Pincer is a really neat ability. Combining it with Form Up is certainly a good combo.
Edit: nevermind "...While you can use multiple tactic actions a round, a character cannot respond to more than one tactic per round, regardless of source..."

GM Blake |

Intercepting Strike happened to work out this time. However, the way I read the cited text, the trigger is that an ally is targeted, which means the check has not been made yet. See Nimble Dodge (Level 1) vs. Guardian's Deflection (Level 6).
At a live table with open rolls, it becomes a distinction without a difference, but here you will have to declare it without conditionals around the result of the check.

GM Blake |

The taunt bonus damage only lasts until the start of your next turn on a Success. I'll move your new Taunt before your Strike so you might gain its benefit.
@ Everyone: Do we have GM glyph Hero Points to distribute?

So, to each of my squad mates.

Apologies. I left my laptop at home, so I won’t be able to move forward until I’m back this evening.

DC 15 flat check at the end of your turn. Can spent 2 actions to get or give an immediate DC 15 flat check (DC 10 if it is especially effective like splashing water on fire) in addition to the end of turn flat check if it wasn't successful.
