The forum is being the forum again. I personally like when it puts responses before the statement the character is responding to.
Zantai cannot hit Magenta as it backs away, but he goes after it and knocks it down with the borrowed lash. Han makes sure it never gets up again.
Technically it still has RP to stabilize, but you can take potshots until it runs out, so... combat over!
When the Data Scourge remnants are defeated, they shatter into a mound of glitching digital voxels that then reform into a helpful item. One becomes an mk 1 mindlink circlet and the second becomes a charge cloak. With the threat neutralized, you are free to report back to Royo.
“Well done, well done! Excellent work.” Royo exclaims with enthusiasm and a respectful nod of his head. “My thanks.”
“Now, I do hope you don’t think too poorly of my little faction here. I know there are those who think we’re on some sort of crusade against circuitry, and while our faction includes those who are… enthusiastic about our mission, I can assure you we’re not trying to toss all technology to the curb! Technology has its place. We do live on a space station, after all! We’re simply looking to diversify our methods, whether they be analog, magical, or natural, as we rebuild the Society. If we’re too reliant on any one methodology, well…we’ve seen how that can turn out!” He chuckles grimly.
“At any rate, I’ve taken up enough of your time. Go, enjoy the day! It’s looking bright on the horizon!” Grinning, he turns back to his papers. “Oh, and if you see a lost librarian, let him know I found the Barbadash files! They were in the freezer!”

![]() |

In the freezer?... The halfling is wondering what files can do in a freezer. But perhaps not the time to ask for such a question.
Of course technology has his place. All is subject of balance in the interests. We can discuss this once again later if you want.
Then he waits for the others to go to meet the last faction to visit.

Berverde says "Yes, engineering can also on low level of technology as a door. So, we can deny those skill.s"
Afterwards, he begins out of the room towards their last destination.

The leader of the Manifold Host, a large barathu collective , is in a small auditorium alongside two dozen Starfinders of various species, watching the induction of a group of new Starfinders. Leading the ceremony is an enthusiastic gnome with bright purple hair, who is performing a vocal medley at the top of her lungs.
Harmony of Many hovers at the back of the room and raises a tendril in greeting when you arrive, gesturing for you to follow them into a side room with large windows that overlooks the auditorium. This room provides storage space for sound equipment and a variety of stage dressing. As Harmony of Many shuts the door behind you, the gnome on the stage begins to shower the new agents in multicolored glitter.
“Thank you for joining us,” the barathu says telepathically. “For those whom we have not had the pleasure of inducting formally, our name is Harmony of Many, and we are the leader of the faction known as the Manifold Host. Our faction has operated within the Starfinder Society for years, working to bring representatives of new species into the fold and to ensure their unique needs are met. Because of meager resources, our efforts have been limited, and we’ve not been able to welcome many new recruits into the faction formally. However, First Seeker Ehu Hadif has committed additional resources to minor factions such as ours, for which we are grateful.”
The door whips open as the colorful gnome makes her entrance, dragging a small humanoid drone by the hand and leaving a trail of glitter in her wake. “Hi, I’m Charla! Pleasure to meet you! Did you hear about the project yet?”
“They are not yet aware,” intones the collective. “Charla has been working with my drone, Major Sixth, to develop a tour program for new agents. This program will—”
“It’s going to be great!” Charla interrupts, grinning widely. “It’s going to show the new recruits all sorts of cool stuff—all the best places to eat and hang out—and even teach them some useful skills!”
Harmony of Many bobs their body up and down in an imitation of a nod. “Charla and some of our other agents have worked diligently on this project. However, it requires final testing. We hope you are willing to assist. Please provide our newly inducted agents a personal tour of the Lorespire Complex using the prepared script. Is this request amenable to you?”
Charla nods. “Your feedback will be invaluable! Plus, it’ll give you a chance to get to know these new Starfinder agents! Sounds perfect to me!”

The halfling arrives with a smile.
Hello, hello, my name's Foquet Zukhet. You know probably me having seen me in video on the infosphere.
After having heard the explanations of the new faction's leader and members, he answers: I would be glad to participate to this experiment. That will be delightful. It seems very exciting.

![]() |

"Would I deny the galaxy of my expertise? Certainly not!" chimes Doctor Remorhaz.

cmlobue |

Charla beams. “It’s simple! We’ve got a great script detailing some of the neat places in the Lorespire Complex. You just show the agents around, read the script, and fill in the parts we left blank for personalization! Put some panache into it—we’ve got to put our best foot forward!”
You are each sent a file with a description of the tour (Slides 6 and 7.)
Each of you will choose one segment of the tour to perform, and no two characters can choose the same segment. The group must do the first and last segment, but you can choose which to perform or skip from locations 2-6 (Charla will handle any that you decline). When your part of the tour comes up, you will give your speech, adding the requested customization, and make a relevant check to see how impressed the new agents are.
Once everyone has made their selection, you will be introduced to the recruits and can begin the tour.
Guide: Welcome, new Starfinders, to the Lorespire Complex! This has been the home of the Starfinder Society since its formation over 300 years ago. In that time, the organization has grown from a small group of adventurers to a galaxy-wide collective of explorers, warriors, and seekers of knowledge. In recent years, the Starfinder Society has worked to defend the Pact Worlds against numerous threats. Why, on one of my first missions as a Starfinder, I … [Talk about something exciting you did!]
Location 2: Kitchens
Guide: These are the Starfinder Society kitchens! Here, our cooks serve over 150 different species at any given time, according to their unique dietary needs. As you can see, the dining area is bustling now, but even in the dead of night, someone’s always snacking down here! My favorite meal here is … [Tell them about your favorite dish!] The menus are posted on the local infosphere, and trust me, you don’t want to miss paradox trifle day!
Location 3: Training Facility
Guide: The Lorespire Complex boasts state-of-the art physical training facilities to keep our agents in tip-top shape! The gym features exercise equipment for creatures from tiny to huge, and the instructors offer private coaching and group classes. We also offer virtual reality training to experience real combat simulations and review recorded performances. Last week, I … [Tell them about some training you did recently!], and it was great! I’m feeling ready to get back in the field!
Location 4: Research Center
Guide: Our field agents return with valuable data on new planets, systems, and species. All that data is synthesized and analyzed here in our research center! Any data that’s not a security risk is made available to all agents at any time, allowing you to research for your next mission or to simply check out something new. Who knows, you might even make a new discovery! I’m really looking forward to … [Tell them something you’re hoping to research!]
Location 5: Laboratories
Guide: The Starfinder Society isn’t just an exploration agency—we’re also on the cutting edge of new adventuring gear! Our agents are always kept well-equipped with the latest gear from both our corporate partners as well as our swell scientists here in the laboratories! They’re constantly tinkering away at new ideas; personally, I’m hoping my idea for … [Describe a new equipment idea you’re pitching!] takes off! I’d love to see that in the field.
Location 6: Medical Bay
Guide: Of course, not all our missions are as fun as hanging out with us in the Lorespire Complex, and they’re even dangerous sometimes. If you’re ever injured on a mission, you’ll be making a trip to our medical bay! Don’t worry: it’s staffed with top-notch doctors, nurses, and specialists who’ll fix you right up, and it has a full team dedicated to Starfinders’ mental well-being. And believe me, I know these folks are the best—they fixed me up after I … [Everybody’s got a nasty injury
story—what’s yours?]
Location 7: Gardens
Guide: Finally, here we are at the Lorespire Complex’s gardens. We maintain several plots of land for agents to relax in and experience the natural beauty of the plants and animals that are carefully tended here. Agents have brought native species from dozens of planets, and they’re all tended by our gardeners who also ensure the local ecosystem isn’t disrupted. Look, there’s a squox! We also grow food here to supplement the offerings in the kitchens. My favorite part of this space is … [Talk
about something you like in the gardens!]
We hope you’ve enjoyed this tour with us; we can’t wait to see you out in the field. Until next time: Explore! Report! Cooperate! And welcome to the Starfinder Society!

Doc can likely handle any of the locations 4-6, though his ego probably would demand that he handle 6, The Medical Bay.

![]() |

So as everybody could say what they wanted to do I take the number 1.
Location 1: lobby
What I did the most exciting was for sure to travel in the time. We could hear and almost touch some thinking creatures from the future! It was an incredible sensation.

As the group approaches the training facilities, Zantai guides telepathically: The Lorespire Complex boasts state-of-the art physical training facilities to keep our agents in tip-top shape! The gym features exercise equipment for creatures from tiny to huge, and the instructors offer private coaching and group classes. We also offer virtual reality training to experience real combat simulations and review recorded performances. Last week, I was asked by a Supervisor to demonstrate my ability to jump. I jumped very high, earning appropriate commendation. It was great! I’m feeling ready to get back in the field!

Alright, nobody pick number 2, so Han will go for it, was trying to see who would go for what since Han can only do about 2 of these really even though he is an operative.
culture: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18 Check out our new soup from out of this galaxy, it involves hunting rare beasts from out of this planet, but money well spent and worth it. Said animals even get imported, so you don't have the hunt them, farmers will slay them after raising dozens. And imported vegetables in it too.

"I'll take it from here," Charly says quietly to your group. "Just watch for now, and you folks can take back over in the medbay." She then turns to the tour group. "Our field agents return with valuable data on new planets, systems, and species..."
That leaves Medical for Rex and the Gardens for Berverde.

You learn a bit about the new Starfinders as well during the tour.
Nacoile is tall sarcesian dressed in an ill-fitting jumpsuit and a green cloth cap. She is a talkative gossip interested in galactic news. Nacoile believes the Starfinders “always seem to be in the thick of things” and joined to get in on the ground floor—”making news, not hearing it!” She’s interested in investigating how Historia-Prime acquired the assets they leveraged during the Data Scourge and suspects much of it was stolen. She wonders what else Historia-Prime might have stolen and where it might be hiding.
Rishir is a pahtra from the Veskarium who wears headphones and is constantly bobbing his head to the unheard music (Hello, Uproar! by the revolutionary pahtra popstar Miiyu). He seems disinterested but is actually nervous and trying to assess his surroundings. Rishir joined the Society hoping to make connections that will aid the pahtra resistance against the Veskarium.

"No doubt, you know who I am, Rex Remorhaz, Wonder Worker," begins Doctor Remorhaz, already going off script. "What you may not know is that after I received my medical degree at Kemanis University, the largest institute of higher education on Absalom Station, I began my residency at Consolation General Hospital here on Absalom Station. The details of my work, both inside and outside of the operating room can be found in the series of novels beginning with the best-selling, 'Consolation's Prize'. I'd be happy to sign any copies that you may have on you for half my usual fee, a perk for my fellow Starfinders."
"While you may be interested to know that there is a Medical Bay here in the Lorespire Complex, you would be correct in assuming that it is not as well-equipped as that at Consolation General, where I currently sit as Head of Pathology," he brags. "Still, a doctor of my caliber can perform miracles with even the most minimal of tools and instruments."

Charla glares daggers at Rex.
Catching the glares, Rex continues. "*Ahem*," he coughs, before reciting rotely, "Of course, not all of our missions are as fun as hanging out with us at the Lorespire Complex, and they are even dangerous sometimes. If you're ever injured on a mission, you'll be making a trip to our medical bay!" He gestures to the facilities behind him. "Don't worry, it's staffed with--*ahem*--top-notch doctors, nurse, and specialists who'll fix you right up, and it has a full team dedicated to Starfinders' metal, er-- mental well-being. And believe me, I know these folks are--*ahem*--the best--they fixed me up after I..."
The doctor pauses as he glances at the script, then flashes a smile, "So, any questions?"

You get a bit more information about the new agents.
Vaudil is a deaf vlaka in brightly patterned stationwear whose ocular implants provide live transcriptions and whose gloves translate per signing into audio output. Vaudil is enthusiastic and friendly. Vaudil is interested in studying the ruins on per home planet of Lajok before it becomes uninhabitable.
After you finish the tour and dismiss the new agents, Charla runs out to the gardens to meet you, closely followed by Harmony of Many and their drone, Major Sixth. Charla excitedly asks you for your feedback.

![]() |

"Feedback?" Doctor Remorhaz repiies. "Well, I think the new recruits found me to be quite impressive. Some even seemed to be speechless in my presence. But, then, that is to be expected."

Han Solo gives a blank stare then answer I was only with them a short period of time, but pay me double, I'll write a good review for them and publish it too. Classic Han Solo, always caring about his money, the statement goes well with the writer profession.

“Your help is most appreciated,”/[b] says the barathu collective. [b]“We believe it is truly vital for all new Starfinders to feel welcomed and for our Starfinder Society to represent the multifold diversity present within our galaxy.”
“We barathu know that we are stronger together. Absorbing new ideas and thoughts scares us not; on the contrary, it’s an important part of our life cycle. So too, for the Starfinder Society. Many points of view will help us to arrive at consensus. To that end, if you meet new lifeforms out there in the galaxy, invite them into the fold for us, won’t you? We will be very grateful if you would join us in welcoming our new brethren.”
Charla gives you things that will appear on your chronicle sheet.
After you meet with all three factions, you can return to Ehu Hadif. The First Seeker asks how your day went and requests your impressions of the three groups.

![]() |

The halfling makes a complete report before noticing his impressions.
Well all these new factions would have a good reason to exist. All of them chose a way non chosen by the existing factions. And all could be useful to the Starfinder society. So I recommend to accept all three of them.

![]() |

Berverde says "It was a pleasure to meet those agents in those new factions and to put a face on them." as he recalls all the people they meet.

![]() |

After you meet with all three factions, you can return to Ehu Hadif. The First Seeker asks how your day went and requests your impressions of the three groups.
"Another fine day," notes Doctor Remorhaz. "Zigford's group seemed a bit needy, though fortunately they seem to be recovering well. The bookworms were a bit argumentative, if you ask me--and you did. And, the barathu seems to have some grudge against medical professionals." The doctor shutters a bit as he recalls the amorphous creature's dagger-like glare.
"But, then, I am more a leader than a follower," declares the doctor. "Though, I must admit I admire that Jadnura. I like the cut of his jib."

cmlobue |

Ehu leans back in his chair, his eyes above his mask lighting up with a smile. “Your assistance today has been invaluable, Starfinders, and I truly thank you. As First Seeker, I don’t often get the chance to have direct contact with the daily tasks of the Society, so I ask your forgiveness for living vicariously through you. While the role of First Seeker is one I took on gladly, I do miss those days of field work and exploration.”
The First Seeker stands and walks to the window, looking out over the grounds of the Lorespire Complex. “I feel the Society stands at a crossroads. Public opinion is at an all-time low, new threats arise regularly, and dissent is growing within the ranks. The argument you witnessed today is only the latest in a series of flashpoints. It would be easy to fall into despair, to lose hope and consign the Society to the annals of history. But if there is one thing the kasathans know, it is the calamitous effects of inaction. I will not stand idly by.” He turns as the setting sun emerges from behind a building, and the orange light frames Ehu, granting him an otherworldly halo and a commanding presence.
“I am resolved, Starfinders. For too long, the Society has been a monolith, rigid in its beliefs and unwilling to change. The recognition of these minor factions is not enough. We must do more than pay lip service—we must act. Before my tenure ends, my mission will be to ensure that all Starfinders are heard and their opinions taken seriously. A united Starfinder Society must speak with many voices, and I will use mine to uplift those who have been silenced or ignored. We shall shine light into the darkest corners of our history, look unflinching upon our errors, and ensure that our mistakes will never be repeated!”
He pauses, then inclines his head in a nod. “It’s my hope that you will join me in these endeavors, Starfinders. Your help will be invaluable. But while this work is vital… I think it can wait until the morning. You’ve all had quite a day!” Ehu seats himself back at his desk. “I think there are still some paradox trifles in the canteen; if you are true of heart, I’m sure you’ll make it there in time!” With a wink, he turns back to his computer, his posture straightened in resolve.
