I did not get how she disappeared so quickly from the edge even though I have a crossbow and won initiative.
Is it right she will be around 500 feat below after round of falling?

Can you please describe what K'Anubis see if he approaches the edge and take a look? (What he likely gonna do)

500ft is mathematically (reasonably) accurate for 6 seconds of falling at 1g.

the signal for the combat was her leaving the area, which stopped the others from attacking, she left over the ledge, looking down you can see that there is coverage, though if you are wanting to try and find her you can try

I'm going to ask the party's opinion before Nana acts, because she has about 4 different options and I want to do all of them but they're all Standard action spells :(

Communal Protection from Energy will thwart at least another couple of breath attacks that might otherwise prove deadly.

Mass Fly will let us ignore the enemies on the ground and carry the attack directly to the dragon (unless these guys fly or air walk too, but they're obviously different than the enemies we faced before).

Unbreakable Heart will suppress a fear effect on one target - if Nana targets Kernuffle first he can block Mykel from running off, then she can cast it on Mykel too so that he can fight on.

But we don't have 4 rounds! What's your preferences? I'm tempted to start with Unbreakable Heart on Kernuffle.

I vote Unbreakable Heart on Kernuffle. It's good action economy: for each standard action you spend to suppress fear, we get multiple standard actions back from the target of that spell that would otherwise have been spent fleeing, cowering, and then dashing back to the fight.

Most dragons don't automatically get their breath weapons back each turn. Just make sure you have Nana tell us how close we need to be for the Communal Protection from Energy if she decides to use it, because otherwise spreading out seems like a good call.

Kahwen has an ability that will allow him to fly, if necessary, though he'll probably deal with the mooks first, anyway so he may end up just taking Nana's fly spell and then use his action to cut.

I think we'll need the protection from energy before the fly spell, probably. And we'll want to avoid anyone getting full attacked by the dragon.

Well, I this case I am going to debuff her heavily in the next 2 rounds. I hope K'Anubis gonna withstand at least 1 full attack. And thereafter she f@~~ed up, if dices roll smoothly.

I am going to Suffocate her, so likely she won't breath or use breath weapon, right?

Right, a bit delayed here, busy day.

We've got the same choices as last round, and I'm going to ask the party's preference again.

Nana can hit everyone still in the corridor with Protection from Acid (Communal) but it's going to leave her within a 5' step of two of the minions - which is uncomfortable.

Or she can Mass Fly covering the whole party except Pai, who doesn't need it anyway, without moving. But I'm not sure how long we've got till the dragon can breath again, and enough of us won't survive another acid cone.

Or she can hit Mykel with Unbreakable Heart and suppress his fear, but I think Kernuffle can just continue to block him for now.

I can't see Kanubis surviving without some serious tricks or boons :(

I think probably we need the protection from acid most.

Let's say I am more than surprised the dragon somehow avoid being grappled.
I am not surprised by her melee damage though. I am going to step out of the cliff so she will have to chose. And if she breath at other party - Kanubis lives another day. Monolith is pretty hard to destroy, but full attacks are deadly so as my initial plan failed (to disable her in 2 rounds) I am not sure what to do next.

I am thinking about Stun her but this is rather small chance to success.

A small chance of success is better than certain death if she full attacks or breathes on you :o

Dragons will tend to have pretty high CMD. I think they're full BAB, lots of HD, high STR. Easily going to be mid-30s for some Large dragons.

Flying straight up isn't easy for most dragons so we may have a good few rounds in which to get our defences up and maybe even fly off and avoid her entirely.

I am really tempted to try a coup de grace if she's helpless.

I may not be able to burn through her HP but she'd have to make a Fort save with a DC somewhere between 44 and 98 to survive.

What's the likelihood she'll be able to move in the next 2 turns?

If the dragon is incapacitated on the ground, that most likely has something to do with the ground itself being dangerous. However, everyone is flying now so potentially someone could hover over her and strike.

But I don't think any option is really safe.

If anyone does want to go for the dragon I suggest asking Kanubis to get within 30' of her first to use his Deathwztch ability. If she's playing possum you don't want to get within her reach. But - Nana's Veil only works within 30 feet of her.

Current condition likely prevents K'Anubis from dangerous actions like approaching so deadly dragon. At least bofore this he provides Nana with Wand of Cure Moderate Wounds...with only 5 charges. And asks to patch him up with all the remaining charges unless party has more powerful (or "free") healing options.

I'm inclined to have Nana bring in a summons now. She's in range of the ship. She's only got one "big" summons still available though, and that's by sacrificing her Breath of Life spell. She does have a Breath of Life scroll in a spring-loaded wrist sheath though.

Nana also has a Blessing of Fervour scroll she's been saving for the final encounter. It'll only last 7 rounds. If we think Sevenfingers might show himself quickly she can go for it now, or she can wait till she's brought in a summons. Remember everyone needs to be within 30' to catch the whole party in the Blessing of Fervour.

How long does the summons last? I think there's an even chance the last combat will occur on the boat so if it's going to last long enough for us to get through this combat and find the final then it's a good choice.

I'd save the Blessing of Fervor for later.

I think we'll really need to focus fire this encounter.

I've no idea what a "nightdrinker" does but I'm sure it's not pleasant. I suspect it may be the greatest threat. But ghouls with class levels can be horrendous too.

Nana's illusion is going to fade just about when combat starts - we've been doing a lot of healing up during the flight. Still, it's been great for getting us here.
