I don't think we get a choice in the later seasons, unless none of us are actually in tier 10-11. With 4 players you play down, with 5-7 you play up but with the 4-player adjustment.

Regarding supplies and purchases, if you've been to the Gloomspires before (I think we all have?) you know to expect undead. A previous chronicle in the series has an item on it that is effectively a "potion" of Death Ward - but seeing as Nana is a cleric you may want to buy scrolls of the spell instead (700gp/2PP). Scrolls of Restoration area also a good idea. Nana will have the spell prepped once.

I suggest getting Ghost Touch or some other way to deal with incorporeals. Nana has one scroll of anti-incorporeal shell and will bring a dose of Incense of Corporeality.

Aside from the incense, Nana's going to bring a couple of healing wands and scrolls bought with gold and prestige.

As far as battle tactics goes, Nana is a negative channeling summoning cleric. (She doesn't tend to use channel in combat, there's usually a spell that's going to be a better choice). She plays a bit like a druid, having spontaneous Summon Nature's Ally and an animal companion.

Kineticists are pretty limited in combat. Pai can do electric and/or bludgeoning damage with her kinetic blast. At least it counts as magical.

She can fly all day long, so she rarely touches the ground. If she takes 1 point of Burn, she can share her Air Shroud (works like Air Bubble) with up to 7 creatures within 30' of her for 1 minute. Handy if we face anything stinky or gassy. She's happy to share her wand of CLW.

Other than that, she's an extremely chatty, energetic, adrenaline-junky go-getter (with a serious ghast phobia from her last mission in the Gloomspire).

I think I'll have Pai pick up 5 holy waters, a scroll of Cure Serious Wounds, and a scroll of Death Ward for a total of 1200.

Kahwen is fast and has an ability from his scout archetype that allows him to deal sneak attack damage any time he moves at least 10' in a round. Which is almost always because he's fast. He's also a Crit Fisher and causes bleed damage. So...if we run into things that can be critted and are not immune to precision damage he can lay out a fair amount of damage. Even more if they actually bleed.

I don't particularly expect that to happen here. But, he's also hard to hit and can get even harder to hit by going into Crane Stance so he can harry and distract people, too.

I'll take a potion of See Invisibility and a flask of holy water if we have time for shopping for 325gp.

Nana, I am double checking on what the actual ruling on it is, I know there is a very cheesy way to swap between the two. however to answer the first part of what you asked, it would be the first amulet you put on that would be active

I've got a lot of nasty grappler's stuff. But I can controll only corporeal things.

Kanubis is bad fighting ghosts or other incorporeal creatures. I'd use advice or maybe will look for something to negate this inconvenience. I would cover magical service or scrolls if necessary to for Ghost touch, for example

so after looking and asking a couple GMs their opinions, many say that it would be RAW 4 actions, (2 actions and 2 bonus) normally, some have said to cheese it, would be wearing them both, then just as a free action ripping off the active one to change it, however a few have suggested it be a full round action to swap between the two, and I will be handling it as such

"Wearing both necklaces, the first one is the one that is Active, to remove or switch which necklace is active that you are wearing it will be an Action and a Bonus action to do so"

GM, I'm fairly sure that bonus actions are a 2e thing so I'm not entirely clear on your intent. I don't play 2e, but bonus actions don't exist in 1e.

If it's helpful to consider, I would rule that it's a move action to remove or don a magical necklace, so as long is it's clear which one is worn first and is Active then it would be straightforwards.

Kanubis, you can add Ghost Touch to a bodywrap as Mykel says. If that's too much gold, the Incense of Corporeality is 1400gp and will generally be sufficient to negate incorporeality for one encounter. Expensive for a one-shot item but I've used it before to good effect. Timing is important, as it needs to be triggered when it can give the party a full round of actions before the ghostie can try to get away.

Pity the description of the Incense of Corporeality says "Incorporeal creatures still lack cohesion and mass", so it looks like you can't grapple it to keep it there while we pummel it into oblivion.

the steps in donning a necklace normally is 1 action to remove, 1 move action to store it, 1 movement to pull out the new one, 1 action to don the new on, since you are already wearing the new one, I would say if you use your Movement to remove it in a hurry as in "Gripping it and ripping it off", or an action if you take your time "sliding it off" and movement to put it back on

Standard posting rate for PbP is generally once per weekday. GMs are often considered MIA if they haven't posted for a full week. We've set a precedent so far of not abiding by that, but it's difficult to remain engaged in a game that drags out this long.

@GM Sapphire Fox: If your plate is too full for posting once per weekday, would you like us to see if another GM could take over for you? RL comes first after all, and we don't want you to feel burdened by this game. Either way, good luck!

We have been moving very slowly here. Not a problem for me really, this is Nana's last outing pre-retirement (I doubt I'll play her at Seeker levels). But could be more of an issue for others.

I do agree, a combat with this many enemies will take an inordinate amount of time if our GM can only manage one or two posts a week.

medical stuff:
My little girl (now 3yrs 9months) was born with a very rare condition called Bilateral Vocal Chord Palsy - essentially it's paralysis of the vocal chords. Her vocal chords are shut closed, obstructing her airway, so she has a tracheostomy. Tomorrow she will have a bronchoscopy to see if there is sufficient improvement for her to manage without the tracheostomy (there has been some positive change over the last 12 months) and if so we will attempt decannulation - reversal of the tracheostomy. This is a step-down process that takes around a week.
