Hello! Welcome to my table. Before we start, please do the following:
Please complete the macros linked at the top of the page. This will be used for initiative and secret rolls.
Please also post your token to the slides and post your position in the marching order. The slides are also linked at the top of the page.
As per the Organized Play Foundation Community Standards, each player must decide if they will allow their characters to be damaged by friendly fire (usually via splash damage). I need to remind everyone that damaging a PC who doesn't give consent will generate infamy.

Dragon style is very fun. Should I set aside a use of Quick Tincture for a drakeheart mutagen for Galax?
Friendly Fire okay so long as I am conscious, 2 glyphs.
GM Tiger
|
Okay with friendly fire, I have 3 glyphs but they don't apply in bounties. Everyone gets 1 hero point.
Actually it's GM preference... I tend to allow them unless when I remember to mention it.

Galax, you're in the wrong table. The Grand Lodge in Abaslom is over HERE :)

I'll get us started later today. Had a long day and took last night off from GM'ing... Now I gotta play catchup... :)

No friendly fire for me, thanks.

Are we waiting on anyone?
GM Tiger
|
btw, I'm running this for Paizocon. I've never run this before so you're my first group... Getting acquainted with the bounty and the map...
Damian Darkblood
|
Do our friends see other ways into wherever they've got themselves?
Damian Darkblood
|
I'm a little confused, as well. Should we go back north then?
GM Tiger
|
We should have enough time. The game must be reported by the 16th, not necessarily finished.
Damian Darkblood
|
Any chance we finish before PaizoCon or should I grab a backup character?
GM Tiger
|
You probably need to grab a backup. Sorry it's taken so long. I thought we'd be able to finish in time.
GM Tiger
|
Fun fact, actually - the first time I played this, I was grabbed by one of the hands. For some weird reason, the character I was playing managed to point a crossbow at himself and not fire a bolt into his throat...

I'd like to apologize to all for the duration this has taken.
I made a mistake in the initial setup and overlooked the survival check which shouldn't have sent you on the grand tour of the cavern. By the time I realized it, it was a bit late to retcon.
We're near the end, you can see the tunnel exit. If you can get rid of the hands, you can make a run for it.

I'll admit to being a bit frustrated by the pacing, but we all have GM skills we could work to improve.
It is less the fact that we went on a tour and more how we had to stop at every single fork to make a decision that was the issue. Once we had established the right-hand rule, you could have narrated us through the dungeon rather than go step by painstaking step.
In future games, rather than let players wander until they find something (which can take weeks of real life back-and-forth), I suggest narrating through the travel and putting characters into the areas where there is something to react to. Characters are going to explore until they find something interesting. It doesn't hurt to fast-forward to the fun bits once things like marching order, light and exploration activities are established. Stopping in every single empty room just feels like busywork after awhile.

Thanks for the feedback. This is also my first purely exploration adventure and I didn't really know how to run it. Passing the survival check should have sent you to an encounter area and it would have flowed from there. I didn't realize it until I played it.

Chronicles have been sent out.
Thank you all for participating. This is also a milestone game for me as it is my 30th table credit. (2nd Glyph).
