Just shows how out of it I was last night... Ezren and Valeros are both down. For some reason I still had 15 in my head

Before I forget, starting from this point onwards, the lighting is total darkness unless you either light a torch or cast light. While in the warehouse you still had ambient light from the outside

You all make it to the bottom safely. There is a passage to the north leading to some chamber.

Looking over his shoulder, and seeing nothing threatening, Valeros looks to the north. "This place is lit! Thanks guys. Anyone mind if I take point?"

"By all means. I can fight well enough but I've seen enough of what you do that I will gladly defer."
Kyra transfers her light spell to her shield.

The tunnel continues deeper underground, eventually opening into a large chamber. Patches of glowing blue fungus cling to the ceiling and provide dim light. You can just barely make out vast strands of webbing across the floor and walls of this cavern, stretching between stalactites like shimmering curtains.
Each square with webs is difficult terrain. DC 15 Acrobatics to cross the room without touching the webs

Ezren takes the lead in crossing the webby chamber. He begins crossing the room, careful not to touch the web with any part of his body.

Kyra does not like the looks of the place, fully expecting awful spiders to come dashing out. She follows behind Valeros, shield raised, as promised. Before entering she casts a detect magic and gives the area around her a quick check.

While Kyra is able to internalize the threat, Valeros is a bit more direct.
"Spiders. We should have fire ready for these webs if anyone has a hand free."

"Ugh. Or maybe we just burn it now. Hate this stuff."
Valeros is struggling to traverse the webs with no free hand for balance. One hand locked in his raised shield and one hand gripping his sword.

"It is awful, isn't it. If the spiders do appear, Sarenrae has gifted me with the ability to call fire and they will regret it."

Ezren easily makes it across. Unfortunately, when Kyra tries to cross the room, she brushes against a thick web, causing it to vibrate. More unfortunately, the vibration attracts the attention of the web's owner, who immediately runs out and attacks.

Ezren momentarily closes his eyes to contain his disappointment, like how hard could it possibly for the three of them to cross and avoid the spider webs? Seriously? But no, he isn't complaining now or they will be eaten alive, probably, by the spider if he thinks about it and dwells on it. He's about to face palm too but turns it into a quick swish of his hand to conjure an icy ray and blasts it onto the spider.
He then steps back to provide a space for anyone that will go near the space he is into

Kyra gasps at the idea.
"Someone could even be alive, wrapped up to be eaten later. We really need to check!"
Kyra pushes through the webs with determination, looking for victims.
"Though it probably lived off those giant rats. If they weren't rats, I might feel sorry for them."

Valeros looks confused for The briefest of moments. "Yeah, possible survivers. That's what I was saying. You could save them!"

Valeros searches the spiderweb and finds a wrapped up bundle of bones and dried skin that looks like it was some sort of small, reptilian creature. He also finds a minor healing potion and a fine looking shortsword with a gem in the pommel.

"Ooh. This potions is labeled, 'heal.' That's convenient. Take a look at this sword. I wonder if it's magical. I've heard stories of swords like this being found within giant spider's lairs. It's probably named, 'Fang', or 'Venom', or something." Valeros holds the items out for the others to examine as he picks his way out of the webbing.

Kyra casts a detect magic spell and starts seeking magic as well as victims.

The sword isn't magical. Apart from the bundle you found, there's nothing else. Ezren's light reveals a passage leading from the cave.
After the web-infested cave, the passageway leading deeper underneath the streets of Otari appears to be mostly natural, but someone, or something, has worked to open the cavern and level out the floor, making the passage easily traveled. A crude barricade made from old wooden planks and part of a barrel blocks the entrance to a side tunnel, while the main passage
continues off into the gloom.

"Well, how about that. Someone lives down here. Think they might invite us in for tea?"

Looking both left and the right, at the barricaded tunnel, Valeros nods his head. "Yeah, is that to keep someone or something in or out? Might be someone is trying to block off those rats from getting to them. But if we think that they came through the wall, then one of us is definitely missing something. Hmm. Other side of the wall first?"
Velaros tries to peer down both passages to see if anything present itself.

Kyra peers over the barrier and hears some clattering noises coming from somewhere ahead. Valeros looks in the opposite direction but doesn't really hear much, the corridor just goes into darkness.

Kyra nods and steps aside. Offering to take pieces and gently stack them.

Isolde successfully dismantles the barricade. Kyra stacks the boards and other materials neatly.
Beyond the barricade, an old cavern corridor winds down into the earth, ending in an ancient burial vault lit by a strange torch with a blue flame. Alcoves line the walls, each one containing a rotten wooden coffin, while the center of the room has a raised platform holding a stone sarcophagus.

Looking around the vault, Valeros gives an involuntary shiver. "This is not what I expected. At all. More dire rats. Mutated turtles. But a burial crypt? Anyone else expecting some kind of evil undead to jump out of that stone cask thing?"
Valeros, with shield and sword at the ready, will accompany anyone wanting to investigate.

Valeros enters the crypt, looking nervously at the stone sarcophagus, wondering if an undead monster will jump out. His fears seem to have been realized as the unmistakable grating sound of stone moving is heard, along with the lids of five sarcophagi moving to reveal the contents.

Isolde looks at the undead at decides that poking them with a rapier might not work, so she draws her short sword instead shouting "Can anyone banish these things?"
She readies an action to slash at the first one to get near her.

"Banish? If by banish you mean destroy, then yes. But you probably don't need magic to banish them. Most undead can be banished by smashing them to bits. It may seem a bit irreverent, but under the circumstances..."
