Sparky the Poppet |

"Many call me Sparky," the poppet says with a wave of his hand and a slight bow. His body is deep blue velvet, while his head is gray silk. White porcelain button eyes reflect light brightly. "It is a pleasure. Indeed!"
He's wearing shorts and a backpack. Haven't decided on color.

Still waiting for a few more, but here is a basic intro to the place
The overgrown road comes to an end at a pair of rusty wrought-iron gates flanked by two stone pillars. Beyond, the woodlands recede before a large clearing of tall, dry grass, at the center of which looms Xarwin Manor. The building’s roofline rises in the middle to a third level surrounded by a walkway, while the closed dome of what appears to be an observatory rises above. Slate shingles cover the steeply-slanted roofs below this central dome with more rusty ironwork adorning its eaves. The paint along the manor’s wooden walls has mostly peeled away, leaving behind a weathered building clad in creeping vines that looks like forgotten by the world. Even at a distance, the building’s facade seems unusually moist, as
if it had just weathered torrential downpour despite the dryness of the surrounding grounds. As you look around you can almost anticipate the flash of lighting and thunderclap will happen ant any moment....

A wiry white haired elf comes jogging up and nods not particularly out of breath and smiling a bit from trying to dodge the beginning raindrops while running.
Sylas Shadow by name here to assist as I might he says with a bow.

At the front gate, you see swaths of moist green moss grow on the stone pillars that flank this rusty wrought iron gate. Tangles of blackberry vines weave through the gate’s bars. A rusty metal coat of arms comprised of a series of overlapping circles, rings, and stars adorns the front of the gate.
Ahead of you you a fallen oak along the path to the house. The overgrown path leading from the front gate splits into a crossroads. To the north, the path leads to the manor’s front door, while to the east, it curls around the manor’s side. To the west, the path leads toward a collapsed building and an algae-choked pond before winding around the manor as well. The rotting trunk of a fallen oak tree lies across the crossroads, almost
as if forming a barrier to those who would approach the manor—or perhaps to keep something within from traveling out.
As you get close, roll perception....

Sparky the Poppet |

"Oh I don't like getting wet," Sparky says. "Let's hurry." As the group approaches the oak lying across the crossroads, the poppet slows down, uncertain which way to walk around it. He pauses, his head slightly turning left then right.

Zano gets up and starts swinging hard. The first one hits, but the second misses. The centipedes squish, but some skitter out of the way.
Rola strikes up a tune and shots a bold of lightening at the bugs!

"Centipedes!" Sparky says in surprise. He chants softly while bobbling his hands in front of him, as if he's holding something that's too hot. A ball of flame grows and he throws it at one of the centipedes.

Zano takes the bites, but still hits hard as the first swing hits! the other are a bit slow
Rola sings a song and keeps it going! She then throws a spell and the centipedes try to dodge

Sylas swings at the bugs at his feet and hits hard! Next he gest out of the way!

Wanting to get a better angle, Sparky moves to stand next a bush. When the swarm of centipedes is less obstructed, he casts another small ball of fire at it.

Zano starts swinging! The first one hits hard with a crit! The next one hits solid, and the last one misses.
Rola starts shooting.

Sylas steps up and SWINGS HARD! The rest of the centipedes go crunch with two crits and a zap in a round.

"Oh, Absalom. Of course," Sparky says while he looks around the main entrance then notices Rola's shivering. "Once inside I can make a fire. I'm sure there's some dry wood inside."
After a moment of silence, he says, "It does look like it's been abandoned for quite some time, but there is a grandeur beneath the dilapidation. With the proper workers, why it will surpass its former glory."
He bends closer to the floorboards, to examine them for rot. "Be careful where you step everybody."

You move up to the house proper. As you move up to the front of the house, you pass a pond and a ruined stable. The house is ahead and the trail leads to the main door. it also splits leading to some structure in the woods. Where to next?

Sparky the Poppet |

Sparky changes direction to approach the stable. Since his neck has a smaller range of motion compared to flesh and blood creatures, his torso twists from side to side as he continues to inspect their surroundings for an ambush.
"Back on the farm, I used to clean out a stable, a barn, and a paddock," Sparky says. "The odors never bothered me. They aren't bad or good, you know, just the way they smell."

YOu head toward the stable. A large stable once stood here, but today, the building has collapsed into a tangle of timbers and shingles, all overgrown with layers of blackberry vines. Looking around....
