Zaidel
The satyr pulls out the ringing phone and answers it. "Hello?" Is it the same unknown number as before?
Stratton of Arcanium
Stratton draws his katana and stands close to Zaidel in case any teleportation shenanigans take place.
Zaidel
Once again the Caller ID is blocked. "Well hello there? Will I be having company today? I can roll out the carpets if you want."
Looking around his surroundings, Zaidel answers, "Yes. If you don't mind company. Where shall we meet?"

Jean de Montes
|
Jean casts mage armor on himself and then takes to the air to keep an eye out but stays near the group.
GM Wolf
The male voice says in a nonchalant manner, "Come to the Black Spire. It is in the center of town. My guards will stand at attention but I can't speak for the random civilians you might encounter before getting to a carpet."
Halfway to the black spire you catch up to Matthew. He is engaged with a Horde of undead. You see him still cutting swathes of them around him but then others quickly engage. It looks like they are mostly zombies.
What do you do to assist?
Mia Thornrose
She charges in with her falchion.
Angelica Delathor
Each round she shoots a magical arrow, taking down one at a time.
Jellena Darkling
|
She grabs a cylindrical shape off of her belt and moves forward. With the switch activated you see a black blade of pure energy spring forth. *Bzzzzzzzll* Light Saber sound!
Then she begins cutting down one undead after another.

He releases golden rays from his hands very similar to Angelica.

Alexandr protects the squishies.
I am half betting that some Vampire Maid will throw me through a wall at some point Alexandr says with a sudden sense of foreboding.
Stratton of Arcanium
Stratton strides forward, making rapid strikes, taking advantage of flanking when possible, and using his maneuvers to keep best positioning and strikes, refreshing them as needed throughout the combat with brief defensive pauses.

Perception: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (8) + 15 = 23
Jean casts a spell on himself and then flies to land at the mouth of an alley. He says, "Who are you and why are you lurking in the shadows?" Jean prepares for an attack but waits to see if the undead might be like the cannibal corpse instead of like the other undead they have found here.
I cast shield and go talk to the guy I saw.
Zaidel
The satyr rushes to the center of the familas and begins to play his panpipes hung from his neck.
It's not Bang Your Head, but it will have to do, Zaidel thought.
Inspire Courage (Su) +2, to all attack and damage rolls and saves vs. fear.
GM Wolf
After a few rounds the undead ranks are thinned, by the teams efforts. As most of you are occupied with the rank and file undead, Jean is interacting with a strange shadowy figure.
Matthew_Locke
With most of the horde dealt with he charges forward taking out undead on the way.
GM Wolf
Along the path you each seem to hear an event individually.
Zaidel
"Cayden, please don't let it be another Chosen on trouble!" The caydenite said under his breath.
Stratton of Arcanium
Well, this doesn't scream trap or anything. Still, better check it out.
As an opening comes, Stratton excuses himself briefly and moves towards the stone, eyes wide open for any dangers, be they foes or traps.
If he finds none, he examines the sword to see if it is "in the stone" or if it's essentially just one sculpture. He also checks his mimic sense.

Jean is going to ready to use his breath weapon on the undead if it looks like it is about to attack him or others.

Hearing moaning, probably Zombies. Well, time to kick some doors in
Consuming his STR mutagen, Alexandr opens the door. For a joke, he tries to be stealthy. Moving through the house looking for threats or rescuees.

And actually is fairly stealthy. Surprising him as well as possible enemies.

Your phone vibrates...
You hear in a female voice, "Come claim me as your own."
[Spoiler=.[/spoiler]

Do I think that was a language that I did not understand or not language?
Jean cocks his head and tries to figure out what the creature is trying to tell him.

"So...your like an evil paparazzi? Why would you promise to hound me? I mean its great to have a fan club, but that really seems to hinder your future growth. Or undeath expectancy if you decide to do something unfriendly." Jean says as he continues to watch the creature and wonders if it also had life imbued into it.
Zaidel
Nope.
The satyr holds his holy symbol in front of him, and steadies himself.
"Miss. Are you alright?" Diplomacy + Charming: 1d20 + 44 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 44 + 2 = 47
The cleric then scrambles in his kilt pocket to get the ringing phone.
"Uh, Hello?"
Alexandr Sergeyevich Meier
Alexandrs adamantine skin takes on a slightly reddish hue as he sees the display.
He retraces his steps (stealthily) and says loudly:
I am hearing moaning, scanning for threats and people in needs of assistance

He then approaches, not hiding his presence shield and fist out, his armor actually shining somewhat.

I had said "excusing himself", which I meant to mean he mentioned he was going to briefly break away. I'm not sure with the spoilers if I should also post something public that the others see/hear. Advice?

"Of course, my dear lady" Stratton, entranced, reaches for the hilt of the sword.
GM Wolf
As his words come out of the phone, you see undead creatures crawl out of the dark all around.
GM Wolf
My suggestion would be: I excuse myself from the group while saying, "I am going to relieve myself, be back in a moment."Or something like that.
You walk forward and grab upon the blade. Searing pain courses through your hand, arm, and body. Four spectral like creatures materialize more than the others and strike at you.

Luckily you dont get hit by the wraiths.
The female voice suggests without compelling you, "You have claimed me, now fight or flee, either way survive to become my apostle."

There would be some exposed skin, specifically at his face. He is not wearing a full helmet, as these mess with perception far more then Pathfinder would model.
Sdrastvuite? He offers?
Guten Tag die Damen?
Greetings My ladies?
He goes through his languages offering greetings in all of them.
Hoping to show an intent to communicate, while deeming it unlikely that they will speak any of them.
Can you hear thoughts? He thinks strongly at the one speaking.

He returns to find half of the group gone. He looks aghast, and has his blade ready should he be given any reason to turn it upon his new allies. "Mia, Alia, Angelica what has happened?"
---
He responds to Mia, thankful nothing nefarious was done from their new allies, "Then we wait until they return or respond if they call for help. Let us move into this building and hopefully we can get out of this fog."
Mia Thornrose
Mia is likely the first to respond, she seems to come out of a stupor at his words, "Matthew, we aren't sure. In these mists it seems that minds get clouded easily."
GM Wolf
The women don't appear to understand your words but they invite you to join them with 'come hither' fingers and open palms.
Zaidel
Zaidel signs in frustration as he puts the phone away.
"GO AWAY."
The cleric decides to just use Turn Undead as a channel. Will DC 31
Stratton of Arcanium
"Survival does seem like the optimal plan. Although, we'll need to have a serious conversation about this 'apostleship' later. Do you have a name, milady?" Stratton asks.
Either way, he says "No sense bringing this danger to my friends." before turning invisible and sneaking back to the group.

You don't notice any obvious holy or unholy symbols.
They seem to understand and give their names, the half elf says, "Ishta." Then the elven tiefling states, "N'Grilya." Finally the human assimar says, "Osen."
Though they do stay in the water and don't try to cover up, waiting for you to join them obviously.
The wraiths can't see you and float back to the stone. Soon enough you return to the group, you notice others have left as well. Matthew has returned with a light on his shoulder and nearby you see light coming from the building. Matthew quickly asks, "Where did you get off to? Where are the others? What is the name of my wife?"

They seem nice? But also completely unafraid of a heavily armored man? And they dont seem to mind me being heavily armored? Hmmm
Alexandr removes his helmet and one of his gauntless, fixing both to hooks on his armor.
He holds out his gauntlet less hand and beckongs the half Elf Ishta towards him, assuming that hand shakes are common enough. He moves about 2 feet closer to the bath.
Hello Istha He repeats in english.

Return
He looks a bit confused and wary as Stratton replies but once he is done saying his words, Matthew clasps onto Stratton's shoulder saying, "I am glad to see that you are all right. Sitting... oh you mean splitting up. Yes I told you all to stay together. If you do investigate something take someone with you! Yes, arcane marks another spell I need to learn."
After Zaidel says his peace he quickly replies, "Just like I was telling Stratton just don't go alone. We have no clue what is out there. I have great fast healing to say the least so I can take a few licks and then run back unscathed. That is not good. This would be the voice on the other side of the phone? He called again? Well we can continue on soon enough if we can find Alexandr. Jean had a nice long talk with the undead armor dude we killed the other day. It appears if we kill his boss we get out of being haunted by him. Isn't that right Jean?" He looks back knowing the dragon is somewhere near or within the building.
