"Hey, everybody!" The satyr and the bronze dragon walk back to the group.
"Anyone need some healing before we head back to The Fletcher's House?" Heal: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20

Jean took one big axe slash.
He did. I see.
"Okay. Gather round everyone once more!"The caydenite touches Jean's axe wound and casts cure light wounds.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Zaidel then takes a bracing breath. "Jean, hold still. I may need to you to help steady myself."
The satyr then holds his holy symbol again. "Three bursts."
"One.."
Channel Energy: 1d6 ⇒ 6
"..Two.."
Channel Energy: 1d6 ⇒ 4
"..Three!"
Channel Energy: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Fort DC 12 if you received healing or let out a loud belch.
After the energy channels, Zaidel shutters a bit, but remains standing. "Ooh! Fu<k yes!" Zaidel mutters to himself.

Jean shivers as his wound closes and says, "Thanks. We should get the girl back to her home."
Matthew_Locke
He walks off as the group begins to head back thinking to himself, Nobody will notice that I am gone, Solo Leveling it is then.
If anyone says anything he just waves them off as he walks into the forest. If someone follows him he transforms his face into a muzzle and begins to sniff.
Daniel Newell.
"Glad you made it back alive. Apparently we need to talk group tactics at some point," Daniel says, grinning in a way that says he's only pretending to be joking.
He makes sure to stand outside the range of Zaidel's channels. He notes as Matthew starts to head in a different direction from the rest of the group and calls out, "Hey, is 'don't split the party' not the general rule here or something? Or are you just overlevelled enough compared to the rest of us that you're in no danger alone?"
Jonathan Garrett.
Jon lumbered after the girl, to make sure that the girl got back safe. It would be so frickin' dumb to nigh on die and have a rogue hunting party leap out at the last second.
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21

Zaidel shrinks under Daniel's criticism. "Dude. I don't know. I guess I was following Healer Logic from World of Warcraft. You know. Where the overworked Healer tries to keep up with The Overzealous Tank, and hope for no Party Wipe. I don't want anyone dying on my watch, is all! I still got a couple heals left in me if Angela, her father, or anyone else needs it before bed. And I was serious about going over everyone's Rite Of Understanding before bed tonight. Clearly that need to be taken care of ASAP."

Jean shrugs and says, "I figured I can fly and use my breath to kill the orc. Although it turns out the trees were too tight. I don't know what happened in the cave though. I thought I was going to sneak around for a bit and report back. But that did not seem to work well."
Zaidel
Zaidel waves up at Mia as she waits for the group to join her. "Is the Fletcher okay?" The cleric asks.
Mia Thornrose
Mia has a bag in one hand, a quiver over her shoulder and a bow in the other hand. She then offers the bow generally to the group.
She nods her head, yes, to Zaidel's question.

"Excellent work, Mia!" Zaidel smiles broadly. "We now have a basket and a bag! What's in the bag?"
Mia Thornrose
She lifts the bag and you hear a distinctive sound of coins clinking together as the bag pulls from the top with weight. She smiles back to Zaidel. She raises the bow looking at each of you in turn.
GM Wolfs last post got updated, make sure to collect your rewards!
Once someone takes the bow from her she also takes the quiver of arrows offering it to the same person. Then she slips into the cottage and comes out with her basket.

Jean stops and says, "You seem like a great father. Have you given thought to adopting more kids?"
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16

The Fletcher and his daughter come to the door giving thanks and waving as you leave.
"What will you two do now? Are you two gonna be safe?"
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17| Jonathan Garrett. |
Collecting the silver and the two loot boxes, Jon looked over at the dragon as he tried to negotiate giving the fletcher the Goblin kids. Given what their parents had just done to his daughter, Jon was reasonably certain they'd have to try searching rather further afield - the village, at least - to find them a new home, but it would be interesting to see what happened. "It looks like you won't have to worry about the attackers again," Jon agreed, an eye on the 'Quest Complete' notification.
Are the Lootbox rolls the same d100 ones as before? If so, 1d100 ⇒ 17 and 1d100 ⇒ 83 for me, please.
GM Wolf
The Fletcher gives thought to Jean's suggestion, "I could take on a new son or daughter, Angelica has been blossoming and is nearly, if not, ready to leave the nest. "
Angelica looks to her father and says, "You would give me your blessing to leave. I would come back and visit of course. I could even travel with our saviors!"
The middle aged man chuckles and nods, "Yes dear, and if they would take you in, I don't think another opportunity like this will arise. It was fate."
With a cheerful cheer she hugs her dad and then scurries into the cottage to collect her meager items.
The Fletcher tells Zaidel, "I will be safe. I will set more traps and get a dog. They just got the jump on me that time."
Yes the loot boxes will always be a d100.

Davin attempts to cover Jean's mishap. "I understand if you're apprehensive about adopting the goblins, but if you could impart your obvious compassion, and wisdom into them, perhaps they might grow up to be decent folk. If maybe not outright heroes?"

The Fletcher tells Zaidel, "I will be safe. I will set more traps and get a dog. They just got the jump on me that time."
Secretly, Zaidel was dancing in his mind over the possibility to gaining another beautiful co-hort.
Outwardly, the satyr smiled and told the old man, "Mr. Delathor, I assure you, we will do our best to protect Angelica while she adventures with us, and help broad her horizons. I can assume as a Fletcher's daughter, Angelica has had years honing her skill with a bow." What time of day is it currently? Close to nightfall? "Do you or your daughter need any additional healing? I have a few cure spells left?" Diplomacy: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (7) + 12 = 19| GM Wolf |
It is getting late but you think you could get back to town before dark.
A figure stands outside of the wall and waves a hand, a greatsword rests on his furred shoulder being held by the other hand.
The Fletcher shakes his head, "I am healthy, we are good. Angelica knows how to use a bow, knife, and how to hunt. Though her main special ability is light. I am not sure where her weapons could be."
If asked if they could spend the night he would get out some tents for your group and welcome lending hands with the mess, let alone getting some things set for the goblins.
Davin Lintini
1 person marked this as a favorite.
Davin arches an eyebrow at Zaidel. "Ya know, you don't need to have sex with every woman you come across, ya horny little weirdo."
"I'm sure you're quite capable, but I'm fairly certain Zaidel only wants you to join us so he arrange a threesome with you and Mia." He says to Angelica.
Look, I get we're all adults here, but if every other scene is gonna be a bangfest cuz ya'll are too horny or whatever, tell me now and I'll take my leave. It's starting to get a bit uncomfortable. I don't play RPGs to live out my weird sex fantasies and I'm not interested in repeated sex scenes.
Zaidel
Zaidel laughs uproariously. "Haha! Oh Erik! Your comedy is stellar, as always!" Bluff: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
Turning to the others, the satyr asks "Once Angelica is ready, should we make the trek back to New Beginnings. I think we can make it back before it gets too dark?"
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13

As Zaidel finishes his statement she exits with a backpack, bedroll attached to the top of it. Also she has a dagger on her belt. "To New Beginnings then?!" she states a bit as a question and excitement can be heard in her voice.
The fletcher and his new charges wave as the group leaves the hill. Locke rejoins the group walking around the wall and stays a bit off.
You do indeed reach New Beginnings with just a bit of the sun still shining over the long hills on the far side of New Beginnings.
Zaidel
Before the group walks into town, Zaidel asks, "Other than Mia and Angelica, does anyone need help purchasing a warm meal tonight at The Pig's Roast? I think most of us got our own silver, but I could be wrong. Please let me know if you need help in that regard."
Jonathan Garrett.
"I think I'm good," Jon replies. At some point he has acquired a crown, and is carrying a stuffed toy under the arm that is not carrying his new morningstar. "I appreciate the offer, though."
Daniel Newell.
When no one else steps forward to take the bow, Daniel reaches out to accept it. "Mia, was your name? I'm Daniel. I, uh, just barely got here. This world here, not just... here here."
He's startled when the Fletcher agrees so easily to take all the goblin children. "All of them, really? That's... a lot. I guess, until we're gone from the area, let us know if you need help with them, okay?"
Davin Lintini
Back at the fletcher's house
As the others make their goodbyes, Davin lingers a bit, contemplating. "I think I will stay here for the night. I still wanna do the unicorn quest, which I *believe* is in this same general area, right? GM, is that right? Weren't both the Fletcher's Daughter, and the unicorn quest in the north? Doesn't make much sense to go back to town if that's the case." He pauses, thinking. "Locke, Daniel, Johnathan, wanna stay here as well, and help me out?"
Daniel Newell.
Daniel shrugs at Davin's question. "Might as well. It's not like I have any idea what I'm doing right now."
As they settle in for the night, he says to Davin, "I feel like we should catch up or something, but just now it seems more important to ask about this world. Have you figured out what's really going on? I mean, all these quests and everything... is it trying to push us to do something? What's the *real* point of all this? Do physics work the same way here?"
He chuckles. "Sorry, too many questions. I've read too many LitRPG's, I guess."

"They may as well have each other, none of them are babies. My guess would be between 1 and 4 years old. They develop faster than humans, so once the oldest one is 6 he should be fully developed." He offers with his knowledge on goblins.

the quest log just updated saying all 25 were dead with the quest complete. Niversal says

"Sure we could help out the goblins in settling in as well. Make them some nice nests." He is being rather frank and a bit sarcastic too. Though he would help out as needed.
GM Wolf
The goblins would accept any help as living in a house seems much better compared to the cave and everything is so 'new'.
The group gets a good nights rest at the cottage most of you can sleep on the floor or out on the grass. The Fletcher offers a few spare bedrolls, blankets and two tents to make everyone feel welcome.
He lets the goblins sleep on his daughter's bed for the night. As he has her sleep with him.

Probably due to his new fey nature, Zaidel decided to sleep outside the cottage, likely with the larger Jonathan.
The caydenite finishes his evening prayers, bids everyone a good night, and sleeps under the canopy of clouds.

Jean rises in the morning and prepares to go find a Unicorn.
He comes out to see the others and says, "So..how do you find a Unicorn?"
Zaidel
In the morning, Zaidel gets up and says his morning prayers to Cayden. The cleric notices he has some more cleric spells to use.
Nice. More spells. Oh yeah, we leveled!
After his morning prayers, Zaidel decides to experiment using his enhance water ability. The cleric washes out the alcohol from his morning prayers, fills it with water, and attempts to enhance the water into hot coffee. The satyr hands it to Niversal and asks, "What do you think?"
He comes out to see the others and says, "So..how do you find a Unicorn?"
"Hopefully with ease", Zaidel comments. "From what we know, the unicorn has been de-horned and injuried. And the fiend who did the de-horning is nearby and taunting the poor creature."
"Thankfully we have a young hunter in our mist, no doubt familiar with the environment and it's various landmarks", the satyr smiles at Angelica.

"So...some ritual has been mentioned a few times. It helped keep Jon alive. Is that something we can do before heading out to find the unicorn?" Jean asks as he is not sure what this ritual entails.
Zaidel
Zaidel performed the Ritual of Understanding for all members before he went to bed last night. Everyone should have their resurrection amulet.
GM Wolf
The Ritual of Understanding is for your knowledge. It includes the many different gods that you can worship or connect with to make a familia. Also letting you know the power of the gods watches out for the heroes. All that have been translated to this world have been given powers. Chosen, as you will be called by most, are the main factors making up most Familias. Zaidel would also say, [b]"A higher level cleric could even grant you an orison. At the end of the ritual the amulet forms before you.
