Belwick joins the party below deck and Caelius easily dispatches a sleeping wolf spider the size of a large dog.

Roberts hovers in the intersection, and to the north she sees a passageway choked with webbing. To the south, the same, but to the south she can still see the sim light of her Faerie Fire on a sleeping bundle. Below Roberts, she can see a wooden grate covering access to The Cargo Hold.

Suddenly from the north, out of the shadows and webbing...

Web Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9 or Web Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18 with Advantage. A blast of spiderweb catches her and restrains her against the wall. She can just make out another ettercap, looking at her hungrily with 8 eyes to the north.

I'm going to, Rule-of-Cool, this. It technically shouldn't work, but I kinda love it, and you invoked Sir Paul. So this ONE TIME...

Wisdom Save: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (8) - 2 = 6

Alisanne's magic fills the air and there's a tangible change in the atmosphere--there's some kind of Faerie, Deep Magic at work and it's neutralized something dark and sinister in the air, something you were only aware of in the back of your minds. Now that it's clear... You recognize that it was there. The feeling still exists, but it's from deeper in the ship.

The spiders all... Dance?! The sleeping spiders on Venn awaken and join the larger swarm on Baghotir. Baghotir can feel the difference. The spiders all evacuate his armor. The carpet of tiny creatures move and sway to the music. They gather around Alisanne, a number of them spinning webs on the fly with supportive messages written in them. Things like, Some Bard! and Radiant!. They gather before Alisanne and will do her bidding. In the meantime they are just grooving.

Baghotir should revise his action. The Spiders are no longer a threat.

Character Sheet

Baghitir will attempt to close with the last awake Ettercap and attack. His spiritual weapon should still get a swing, but I might not depending on how tough it is to get through the webbing.

The warning comes too late! Belwick steps onto the grate and casts his spell--Bolts of force thud three times into the bloated, disgusting creature.

Belwick exhales and smiles triumphantly as the wooden grate below him buckles and he slides down into dark water.

Does Caelius wish to reconsider his turn?

Belwick proves that he's made of stern stuff by resisting the worst the ghast has to offer. He looks up at the rope and at Caelius. "Friend, I don't need that. But Baghotir will."

Whispering a word under his breath, mist swirls around the nobleman. It whisks him away from the danger, placing him back up where the others are. Cast Misty Step
