Going to finesse the combination of Joe's clothesline and Kelria's special trample type ability here to avoid retcons and dead with rules about not having multiple characters occupy the same space at the end of their turns

As Kelria's rampage through the group happens, Joe reaches out with an equally large meaty fist and knocks her jetpacks into an unanticipated orientation. She flies first up into the ceiling, before slamming into the floor just north of the group.

Joe's words sting her as well as the ignormany of landing on her face in front of her guardsmen.

He looks at her for a moment, considering what he knows about Hellknights. She wears the regalia of a Paralictor, and is thus a very senior member of the order. They are known for a fanatical resolve May spend RP to reroll a failed save. He has heard tails of their leaders racing through an entire squad of soldiers leaving nothing but battered and bloodied bodies behind them. Infernal rampage attack which you have already witnessed.

Poor Killdroid, having taken one for the team, falls to the ground, sparking.

What do the runes do?(trained in computers or mysticism):

You have no idea what the runes are as such, but it is technomagical in nature. You think you could maybe hack them, to move them to another target. Might not be easy though. Mysticism or Computers check as a standard action to try this.

The runes on Joe's armor continues to glow...when there is a sudden explosion as a massive missile crashes through the roof of the tower and into Joe. Exploding and sending fire and shrapnel to those around him. As it does so...the runes fade.

And because I don't want to kill you all in round 1, and Joe is large, I'll pick the bottom left hand square that it lands in, so Kait is the only extra person getting damaged

This is nothing new for Kait'lax. They activate their contingency for having the important parts of Killdroid retrieved so they can craft a new body later.

Not enjoying the enemy having air support, Kait'lax tries to manipulate the runes on Joe, taking a bit of extra care to make sure they end up where we want them.

Computers, Certainty: 1d20 + 25 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 25 + 2 = 32

They then take a step away in case it failed, so they are not likely to be bombed again, and look around for something, anything they could interface with.

Perception: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (10) + 17 = 27

Plan Z, which I think we are on now, is to Remote Hack the database and grab whatever scraps of information I can before fleeing. Kait'lax has 50 foot range on that, so might be able to hide and continue the download from off the battlefield.

Best thing Kait’lax can do is keep the missiles from hitting us. Redirect the runes onto the Hellknight mooks instead.

I think the best plan at this point is to gang pile on the boss and then hit the mooks. I’ll try to heal Tolar and pray the dicebot starts giving him 20s and the boss 1s, instead of the other way around like it’s done thus far.

Overloading enemy tech would be fun, but feels like poor action economy. Looks like there were three runes on Joe when he was attacked before, so Kait'lax will ready their check for a third rune appearing.

Nope, grenades didn't bypass SP at all. But between the two grenades and the trample, and four missed saves, Jackojare's SP were literally burned through.

The blue knight takes the full impact of the grenade, but Kelria mostly just shakes it off. Rather than direct his targeting cannon at Joe, the Blue knight is rocked and seems unable to concentrate.

Kelria seems to be enjoying herself and in no hurry to finish the fun by another quick trip through the shattering party.

Tolar lands a single, very solid hit on Kelria. She oophs, but offers an evil grin. "I'll enjoy ripping your entrails out for that one."

Jaqweh notes that the new devil is likely immune to fine and poison, and is resistant to acid and cold as well. It is very hard to hurt without a holy weapon (DR and regeneration).

The entropy brings invasive acid which start to melt and destroy the paraliktors body and suite Corrode every round: 4d8 ⇒ (8, 4, 6, 7) = 25

My main Entropic Strike dmg is 4d6, but my lash is less efficient (lower lvl weapon), so in general I trade dmg for range.

Kait'lax focuses on the mystical runes, feeling their infernal energy radiating back up into orbit. Just as they appeared on Joe, he is pretty sure the runes must be able to be relocated, as that is in their very nature. Feeling along mystic ley lines he.... finds the planet;s weird energy confusing... the runes stay put.

Had to double check the DC there, you failed, but only narrowly.
Which... given you rolled a 5 might not be surprising now I look at it.

Joe moves ponderously forward, ready to contend with this self-appointed law maker. He lashes out at long range I assume your lash is a reach type weapon, I don't know much about Vanguards striking cleanly through the paralichtors defences.

The acid burns heavily into the Paralictor, weakening her such that when Joe's strike finally arrives she has naught left to withstand it.

A cloud crosses Jaqweh's face at Dridapex's words, but only briefly. It makes sense that they would back up the data they'd need, and it got them the help they needed. He'd likely have done the same thing in their dire circumstances, too.

The lashunta chuckles. That explains why you did not share your DNA when we first met. Though I wouldn't have know its importance, nor how to extract the data.

He makes sure the blood sample is secure in his microlab, takes a reading for the xenogenetics database at Callaver University, and nods to their host in thanks.

I hesitate to ask, given our condition, he says looking at Killdroid's fused circuits and Tolar's mangled armor. But is there anything else you need of us? If not, can you help us get to somewhere that we can be recovered by the Starfinders?
