Think about your character's history, motivation, and ideology. Then answer the following in this thread:
1. As a child how would you have described the "perfect" monarch?
2. The best part about having a system of nobility is....
3. The worst part of having a system of nobility is....
Don't forget that you need to make a post in the Gameplay thread for this game to show up in on your campaign tab. Make a post there of anything you want, but a physical description of your character would be a great help.

Quick answers on the questions.
1. As a child how would you have described the "perfect" monarch?
ANSWER: In the lens of child-like innocence, Aurelia would have described them as clever, handsome, and kind. And she would have prioritized them in that order. She grew up assuming primogeniture as the standard, but her family's work as diplomats exposed her to different cultures and different ideas.
2. The best part about having a system of nobility is....
ANSWER: ...is that leadership is taught at birth. To be a good leader is not a simple task, and increases in difficulty the greater your responsibilities. While the popularity contest approach that is Andoran is nice in an ideal setting, it's far too unstable long term. Partisanship and uneducated bias exacerbate the problems of their system. Plus, monarchy has existed for a long time. It's a system that works, and only needs a few minor tweaks.
3. The worst part of having a system of nobility is....
ANSWER: The male bias of Taldor. It's the most glaring flaw, and should be the easiest to fix. Aurelia learned early on that she is a great deal smarter and more capable than most men, including many in her family. She studied historical texts on some of the most famous diplomats and, applying their strategies, was quickly more adept at the task than most. So naturally it infuriated her when she was passed up to lead specific diplomatic missions... and had to watch men botch things.
