Stank Plows through Osh, then Cirri, and arriving nearly before Aiobhean, instead thrusts it's body forward overextending it's forelegs' ability to get ahead of it's massive torso and full head of nasty antlers - muck and goo dripping from them - splashing head down ass up in the water, and lifting itself up only in time to receive a well-timed twocking on it's chin with the magi's staff! Lowering it's bruised chin - the funk crawling into the duskwalker's nose - it locks antlers with Aiobhean's staff, a low murmur of a hocking sound generating a new mouthful of toxic snot as it decides whether to engage it's twice-attacker or mow down the party with another blast of putrid phlegm!

Following suit, Cirri draws upon her waning vital energy, and wades into melee, but the cunning beast blocks her blows with it's hooves, rearing up to deflect. Miss

That wasn't a retch attempt to lower sickened condition, that was this fort save. Toxic Phlegm @ DC 34 Basic Fortitude Save (Necromancy, Poison, Primal) vs Audi, Cirri, Max, Osh. I failed and took 48 damage. Max really did swing 4 times, still a miss.

I don't want to Stride, because it's got an AoO and it seems to be saving it for me. No it doesn't, whoops!!! I think I'm flanking with Max from where I am. Worth remembering that flanking does not give you a bonus, it imposes the flat-footed condition on the flanked enemy. Numerically, it's the same, but it's worth keeping in mind.
"Twice for flinching!" Aoibhean shouts, smacking the beast's maw with her staff again. She tries to knock its feet out from under it a second time as well, before taking a defensive stance behind a magical shield.

Max flails wildly, but critically fails to connect, his typical exacting strikes way off their mark, flustered.
And surviving another round to it's own surprise, the beast looks towards the exit, seems to consider leaving... but instead, emboldened by the party's inaccuracy(!), instead tries to fight it's way through. It's first instinct is to swipe at Aiobhean - but she is just out of reach! (See Discussion)
Instead, he lashes out at Osh - that last blow heavy and still ringing in it's wax-ridden ears.

Max will rage First action giving him 14 temporary hit points
Then he will powerattack actions 2 and 3 hit: 1d20 + 24 - 1 ⇒ (14) + 24 - 1 = 37 includes sickened 1dmg: 3d4 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (1, 3, 4) + 8 + 1 = 17 rages gives +2 damage, but only +1 if the weapon is agile and it is.
And he will use his hastened condition to attack hit: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (15) + 18 = 33 dmg: 2d4 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (4, 2) + 8 + 1 = 15
I do have 14 temp hit points, but my ac is now 30 because of rage and sickened

Max tries a different tactic, so instead of banging sideways, he gets pumped and just slams his hammer straight down. As the beast gets too close with his horns, his hammer lands on top of the beast's head and it falls down. He slams down on its head one more time for good measure. Max slayed the beast. Combat over. I was pmed.

Actually, Audi ignores whatever Pharasma says unless it is through the stupid ancestors that plague his every waking (and sleeping) hour!
