An hour later Naevys, with Wadley and Vomer at her shoulders, leads the group out of the newest section of labyrinth.
Three wall-mounted flaming stone braziers illuminate this
unfurnished chamber. Lying on the floor in the middle of the
chamber are three mangled humanoid bodies—two male
humans and a female elf. Gouges and long scratch marks mar
all of the walls of this stone room, as well as several areas on
the floor and ceiling. A heavy black curtain cordons off the far
southwest corner of the chamber.
You enter the gray room in the north east. Stuff happens so please move your tokens.

Brie uses a wand to cast Mage armor. Topping it up. Not sure how long it took to travel in between rooms.
Brie frowns on seeing the scene.

Wadley detects magic in the same area Aaftaab detects evil, the north east corner of the room where three smoky clouds come drifting out to meet the group. As they emerge from their nest everyone begins to hear a cacophony of voices.

Special attacks
Babble: anyone within 60 ft must make a will save or be fascinated. The fascination lasts for a short time or until the allip attacks.
Touch of Madness: An allip's touch drives its victim insane while strengthening the undead. Touch attack, wisdom damage, gains temporary hp.

There is no place Vomer can safely 5' step and cast. He was going to cast a 4th level spell (ball lightening) but, because he needs to cast defensively, decides to cast a 1st level magic missile directly at the creature adjacent to him. concentration check: 1d20 + 6 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 6 + 7 = 27 (DC17). If successful 4 magic missiles hit the red Allip. missiles: 4d4 + 4 ⇒ (1, 2, 4, 4) + 4 = 15. After the spell Vomer will step back 5'.

K:Rel, Vomer identified them as allips, incorporeal undead with a hypnotizing babble and wisdom damaging touch. Naevys recalls that they have a slight resistance to channeled energy to back up their incorporeal nature and standard undead traits. They have no particular weaknesses.
Naevys sends a bullet into red and receives a claw for her trouble.

Description
You create two globes of lightning that fly in whichever direction you indicate. For every 4 caster levels above 7th, you create an additional globe of lightning (3 globes at 11th, 4 globes at 15th, to the maximum of 5 globes at 19th). These globes fly at a rate of 20 feet per round and have perfect maneuverability. Wind does not affect a flying sphere’s course.
If a globe enters a space with a creature, it stops moving for the round and deals 3d6 points of electricity damage to that creature, though a successful Reflex save negates the damage. Creatures wearing metal armor take a –4 penalty on this saving throw.
Each globe moves as long as you actively direct it (it’s a move action for you to direct all the spheres created by a single casting of this spell); otherwise they stay at rest. These globes have no mass and cannot push aside unwilling creatures or move solid objects. A ball lightning globe winks out if it exceeds the spell’s range.
