Laurel "Desna" |

"Squaw-Terz" Laurel repeats the word in the uncouth and barbaric tongue of Taldane, curious it's meaning, stopping short to wait for Galimus to be done slowing everyone down, crouching his bottom to touch the backs of his jutting ankles, balanced on his toes, and twirling his knives to stymie boredom...

Zoiqoppour Royok |

"That is as good of a place to head as any I suppose." Zoi squawks as he heads over to the door, unsure what to expect in this strange place. What did this place want with him exactly?
Does anyone else require healing?

Lazlo Gorog |

After a cursory glance at the remains of the mimic, Lazlo stashes his bow and heads over towards the NE door.
Lazlo has Trap Finder and a perception of +9 to find traps.

Several floor-to-ceiling bookshelves turn this large room into a cozy, almost cramped library. The musty smell of old books fills the air, and most of the shelves are stuffed with books of all shapes and sizes. A large brick fireplace is built into the northern wall, and a wrought-iron spiral staircases rises to the northeast. The window between the staircase and the fireplace is broken; the flooring and wall around it appear more weathered than anywhere else in the room. A diffuse pink mist lazily drifts between the bookshelves, as if it were searching for books.

Laurel "Desna" |

"Aww... too bad a fair ain' cookin up!" Laurel laments "Could go fer a chessnut rhostin o'er a open fair!" he daydreams, before noticing it "Wussat!"
He points to the pink mist drifting between bookshelves with a concerned look on his face.
"Lemme gess. We gossa fights it, right? Cuzzit don' wanna talk all nice, right? Like thet crikin' ferniture, right?" he seems to decide, against his declared reservations, to opt for the diplomatic option - but this time keeping his knives unsheathed "Alright Mist. You don't find any traps. Your default Exploration mode is Avoid Notice - there may be times where I roll Perception rather than Stealth for initiative if you get ambushed, can I have your permission to just do that when it makes sense to me, or would you prefer that I ask what you're doing?
I'm fine with you doing whatever feels right at the time.

A part of Galimus is quite pleased to find a library and more than a little disappointed that one of the broken windows belongs to it. Nothing like damp to ruin books. The furniture and pictures in a sitting room are easily replaced but a damaged book is a tragedy.
There's no time to actually read, anyway but he would like to peruse the shelves.
Unfortunately, he's as wary of that pink mist as everyone else. It would be too much to hope for that it's innocuous or friendly.

The mists' propensity for taking on vague, skeletal forms of the creatures whose blood they drink further adds to their mystique and fuels rumors that they have connections to the undead. Indeed, many vampiric mists enjoy using this common misconception to their advantage, leading foes to apply foolish tactics—such as tricking spellcasters into attempting to use positive energy against them as if they were undead monsters. Not harmed by positive energy.
Lazlo attempts to demoralize the creatures, who just laugh sadistically in return. Failure. An arrow passes through, making contact, but not damaging, the Yellow mist.

Fort Save #2 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
Bleed 2d6 ⇒ (3, 2) = 5
de Sibelius is unable to shake off, whatever effects the vampiric mists have on him, "Help!, these things must be stopped, I need to get to the books." he calls out in obvious distress. As he sends a flame at the mist draining him of his blood, before he retreats to safety. Miraculously, the bleeding seems to stop as his body tries to recover from the blows of the mist Assuming it's a normal DC 15.
◆◆ - cast create flame and send it to the red mist 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15 damage 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (1, 1) + 4 = 6
◆ - stride 25ft
Stop bleed 1d20 ⇒ 15
Not sure why the 1st hit was a crit, unless it's something to do with being glimpsed? As my AC is 17 and being enfeebled shouldn't make any difference to that ... But as I don't know what the vampiric mists are capable of...I ask just so you can recheck...

Galimus |

Everyone seems to be bleeding...a lot but no one seems to be particularly hurt, yet.
Galimus keeps up his psychic static, causing it to spread a little further. It can't quite reach either of the other two horrible mists but it will soon and the one closest to him will feel it.
He also flings fire at the one he can see.

Zoiqoppour Royok |

Seeing Funding quite injured and bleeding out Zoi reaches out sears into the Vampiric mists mind to try and shut it down. "Is that a friend Lazlo?"

GM Watery Soup |

Laurel cuts deep into the mist, disrupting it severely. But it still lives, and Laurel's cut refuses to close.
A mysterious stranger appears, slashing at Red with an arm-scythe.
Fundin flails desperately with his hammer, unable to hit.
de Sibelius gasps as his life force is ripped out from him. He tries to blast it with fire, but is taking damage and loses his concentration.
Galimus sends some fire at Blue, again. Hit plus weakness.
Zoi casts a spell. Hopefully, you meant Blue or Yellow, and not Purple, which is Fundin. I'm going to temporarily apply it to Yellow.

Lazlo Gorog |

Lazlo screams in surprise and pain ss the mist slashes at the masked newcomer. Blood seeps out of a wound in his side mirroring that of the mysterious figure.
"If you're here to help then move over a bit. I'll see what I can do to distract it."
With that he turns to the mist and grins menacingly. "You're in for it now, mister. I hope you enjoy pain."

Galimus |

Things are starting to get a little dicey around here. A lot of his companions are bleeding a lot and none of the creatures are going down.
He focuses the energy that drives his body into a ball inside him then lets it expand violently.
Heal: 1d8 ⇒ 5
3 action Heal. That should get everyone with a 30' emanation. If the mists happen to be undead, they take that as damage unless they make a DC 19 Fort save.

Pourrimenmots de Sibelius |

Seeing his friend reel in pain, from a non-existent strike, de Sibelius moves to get a better look trying to see what is happening, catching a glimpse of the yellow tinged mist. Despite the difficulty, de Sibelius throws a small flame at the mist, but with the congestion in the hallway and trying to aim past the walls, his aim is off and the flame harmlessly hits the wall next to him.
