I'd love to get your thoughts on Adventure Paths HERE.

ok, put ting on the map, he will head to where 'Lefty' is at, Lefty try going to 'order' and bringing you icon 'to the front'

I found your icon and moved it back off the map

Helping the kids move back in to their home. No Internet connection yet. Hopefully tomorrow.

I am running out of colors.

I'm not sure the path that the purple frog took to get to ting for the flank, does he get an AOO?

edit:Hmmm, had to move the white circle for a second, looks like the frog may have come to life right there.

The frogs dropped from the columns. 1 frog from each column.

oops, wrong thread

maybe you won't miss in the gameplay thread

Dark Archive

For what its worth, with the obscuring mist provides full concealment if they are more then 5 feet away. I think that stop attacks of opportunities unless you have some means of seeing through the fog. Just my two cents.

Posted the AoO, pending ruling from DMoG ;)

Malinor is correct, Tessai wouldn't be able to see the frog through the fog cloud.

Damn you, Blue Frog!

*Shakes fist*

It could be worse Tessai, you could be trying to shoot guns through the fog. :/

Very true :P

That is why I always carry a scroll of Gust of Wind on any character who can use it. Should have gotten one for Tessai, she might have been able to activate it with UMD.

@Malinor not every encounter will have have evil priests with the water domain.

Dark Archive

@DMoG It's part of the game. And I made sure I could fire in melee without getting blasted for it for just such an occasion.

and the bad guys can't tell that you folks are chopping down their zombies completely, so they're wasting actions trying to heal zombies that are below 0hp.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Lot's of die rolling on my end, as usual pay attention and check my work.

I am all the way over here in Europe, but Happy Thanksgiving to all those celebrating it ;)

Thanks Tessai!Um Happy thanksgiving Thursday to you to?

Ok, I do hit.

I think 'Lefty' blew away the fog.

Dark Archive

That's right. I forgot about rolling and then forgot about his spell. Thanks for the reminder.

Sometime at the end of last week I passed 10,000 posts without noticing.

I hope you got your oil changed.

Dark Archive

I guess this might be an important note. Does everyone see in the Dark? I have Darkvision but I kind of assumed from the races that others needed light to see. But there are lots of ways around that.

M Elf U. Rog 1, Evok 4, AT 1 HP 44/44 | AC: 22/18 T: 14 F: 15 |CMB: 3 CMD: 17 | F +4 R +5 W +5 | Init +5 | Perc: +11|

We've got light spells all day.

If we can, it would be great to have someone to scout ahead - I don’t think this is the kind of game or setting you can just push through with brute force. We got lucky on the last fight, but it would be cool if we could do our best to avoid such all out slugfests. And the best way is anticipating what we are up against.

as for light, ting has an ioun torch. So not great distance visibility but it works.

As for scouting, I have mixed feelings, I like the theory of it, but in PBP, with say a post a day, we could be waiting for a bit for the 'scout' to get enough answers to report back safely.

Personally, even though I'm playing a character that could scout, I'd only use a scout in very few occasions.

Dark Archive

In a dungeon, without everyone seeing in the dark, scouting just isn't very viable. Unless the whole thing is lit up with moss or something.

I think we will need to take time as we go through searching, but staying reasonably close together will be important to support the front when they hit trouble.

I hadn't realized none of our scouts had Darkvision :O

Yeah, that means no scouting unless they are invisible - even so, they won't see anything. Maybe we need to grab a wand of Darkvision?

M Elf U. Rog 1, Evok 4, AT 1 HP 44/44 | AC: 22/18 T: 14 F: 15 |CMB: 3 CMD: 17 | F +4 R +5 W +5 | Init +5 | Perc: +11|

Lefty can do it. He's still got light and invisibility and even gaseous form.

In fact, he knows Darkvision, but didn't prep it today. I'll post.

Dark Archive

Eventually, we might get our hands on Communal Darkvision which can let everyone that needs it see. For at least a while.

U-Monk 1/Serendipity (Heavens) Shaman 5 | HP 47/47 | AC 19/23 T:19/23 FF:10/14 (Second # w/Mage Armor) | Init:+6 | Perc +16 (+20 to notice enemy before surprise round) | F:+6 R:+8 W:+10 | Sense Motive:+18 Stealth:+16 | Defiant Luck: 1/1 | Stardust: 5/5 | Current Wandering Spirit: Life: Channel 3/3

I've got darkvision and a pretty decent stealth and perception (+16 each) but defer to those with higher numbers, or that want it more.

And in a dangerous place like this, I prefer to have the group at least fairly close together.

M Elf U. Rog 1, Evok 4, AT 1 HP 44/44 | AC: 22/18 T: 14 F: 15 |CMB: 3 CMD: 17 | F +4 R +5 W +5 | Init +5 | Perc: +11|

That's why Lefty cast Message. If he's in trouble, you'll know (hopefully).

Somebody posted. I'm-a see.

Sorry I've been away. I've been ill. I'll try to catch up over the weekend.

Hope you are on your way to recovery Garados.

I will be going on vacation from Saturday through Wednesday. I will try and check the boards in the evenings but I may be slow to post over the next few days. Feel free to bot me as needed.

So I took a look at the map, is the ogre really fifty five foot away? If I understand Left's spell right it's only good for 35 ft. I just assumed the thing was right around the corner when he cast and he stepped back so ting could hit it.

M Elf U. Rog 1, Evok 4, AT 1 HP 44/44 | AC: 22/18 T: 14 F: 15 |CMB: 3 CMD: 17 | F +4 R +5 W +5 | Init +5 | Perc: +11|

40 ft. Lefty knows the range, and he's been watching the guy approach. He should be 40 ft. from where Lefty cast the spell before moving.

Range close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels)

Either way I was hoping it was closer :)

Lefty has a trait that lets him cast spells at his character level. I love PF1. I never wanted to replace it.

That's cool.

Honestly, I was just hoping he waited till the thing walked right up on us so Ting could get a suprise rd and use his sneak attack.

Edit: But at anything more than 30 ft from his location, ting can't hit it this round. Honestly I don't remember where Lefty was standing when he threw the snowball, but unless the gm moves the ogre closer ting will have to ready an action.
