That's a crit fail.
Greetle grumbles.
"Well, I'm glad she's trying to get into it, but I'm not entirely convinced. You can have the veggies for half price, just 10 coppas and I'm gonna hav' to think long and hard if I'm comin' or not."
There's nothing further to be negotiated with the farmer here.

Zalmora sighs, but digs the coins out from her pouch and gives them to Greetle. "I do hope her mistake isn't enough to permanently affect your friendship. We'll be sure to let her know that she needs to do the right by you."
Ready to move on

With all the pieces together...
Kupyn’s cottage is brightly colored, with a thatched roof and tall chimney merrily puffing smoke into the brisk air. Yet as you get close, the house begins to rumble and quake. The door spills opens. Numerous tiny cobblestones pour out—no ordinary rocks. They all have open mouths with gleaming sharp teeth.

I'm envisioning no weapons out we've been in peaceful Winterweek town. Also there's clearly something wrong with the cauldron and it can be "disabled" while adjacent via Arcana Thievery or Crafting via the Disable action

"Breaking rocks with my fists! Ha!" Hiro drops into the large and powerful stance of the dragon. He rushes forth and with a mighty kiai drops a hammer strike on the biggest rock of the bunch.

He takes out his sling and loads it with a stone, and lets loose a shot!

Zalmora quickly retrieves her bow, looking for weak points as she studies her stony prey. "Baxter, flank and bite!"
The bedazzled dog runs forward and past the rock monster, not quite flanking with Hiro. He does try and bite the thing however.

Aeslynn moves up, whispering to Sebastian. "We should do what Great-Granmmummy would have us do!" The two conspire together, momentarily, and a rocking chair next to the cauldron spring up, growing chicken legs, moves up to the rocks, and smacks them!

Hiro finally gets to flex some muscles and break some rocks. Not a crit
Karianamu's sling is about as effective as expected.
Zalmora's dog does unfortuantly not get a solid bite in, perhaps a stick golem might be been a more fortunate foe.
Aeslynn's rocking chair contributes significantly to the fray as well.

Aeslynn moves up to the cauldron, letting her rocking chair go. "I think I can take care of this at the source, don't you think, Sebastian?"
She uses her knowledge of the arcane to try to disrupt the magics of the cauldron.

No luck on the sling shot.
Zalmora does crit with an arrow, but arrows are not especially effective against rocks, and it does surprisingly little damage Resist piercing 6
Aeslynn starts getting the cauldron back in order, but it's going to take several more successes to complete the repair. 1/3 successes complete.

With the last of the cobblestones defeated things calm down... A short while later Kupyn shows up with the stew meat. Finding that the rocks broke nearly everything in her house before spilling back she sits down and cries.
"I knew I should have cleaned the runes more thoroughly but it's just so much work..."
Despite her malfeasance and previous lack of spirit nearly the whole town shows up to help her rebuild and make rock stew.
Old farmer gramps and the kids show up and get rid of all the remaining debris and rubble from her house.
The dwarves come through with some mushroom wine and fix her broken furniture.
The fae show up and make everything a little more special, and fill your companions' fur with ribbons and glitter once more.
In the end you get paid for your help along with a generous helping of rock stew.
Baxter looks up and makes a questioning noise, wanting to know what this rock he found in his stew was...
Fin.
