@Dennis - Is there a specific character number you'd like for me to report to for you?

Changed Scary Gourd to be more Strength based at the cost of Wisdom.
Found I have to be much more careful about using templates. The original header had some wrong information.
I have also updated the macros spreadsheet.

@Dennis - Is there a specific character number you'd like for me to report to for you?
Yeah, sorry, I forgot to update. 215589-2019 Radiant Oath, please.

GM Ladile |

Okay folks, the game has been reported and you can find your chronicles --> here. Please let me know if everything is correct; if any changes need to be made I'll do them ASAP.
I'm planning to go ahead and get us rolling on The Tireless Path later this evening but if anyone still needs to make some character adjustments (or swaps) we can make it a slow start until everyone's good and ready :)

GM Ladile |
2 people marked this as a favorite. |

Those last days were busy I suppose, Gm Ladile?
Hey folks, just checking in - I've been in a bit of a funk for the last few days but I'm hoping things are starting to shift back to normal. This unfortunately happens to me sometimes when the days start getting shorter and there's less daylight to be had.
I've got to get some sleep but I'll try and move things along later this evening. Thank you for your patience.

Only doing this because Scary already indicated they'd use a Hero Point on a failed check and it'll save a little time; otherwise I would not be this presumptuous.
Sorry, I should have said go ahead and bot the roll.
I am fine with you rolling for my character, especially if it speeds up play.

So bridge is out.
Crafting is the obvious skill.
Nature or maybe Survival to find materials to help fix things.
Probably some Athletics to get things put in place, Acrobatics if the bank is steep so that balance is important.
Architecture lore for how a bridge should be built?
Any other suggestions for possible skills?
Of the above, my character would be able to do (from best to worst) Nature, Survival, Athletics,
Crafting.

![]() |

Sebasti's good at Acrobatics and technically trained in Athletics.
He may be better off using his +10 to Aid via Diplomacy with One for All. I.e., cheerleading.

![]() |

Re: One for All It depends on if number of successes is important. If we need number of successes, we are probably better if you make a skill attempt.
I suppose you could try diplomacy to coordinate our efforts?
Re: Warfare lore Lot of troups have needed a way across a river and sometimes with horses and wagons. I think our GM would have to comment on which of those options your character thinks would work best.

Dennis Pregen |

Ezren is pretty solid at Crafting. He wouldn't be doing the physical labor himself, of course, but would be glad to supervise :P

![]() |

So it sounds like:
Sebasti tries to organize us using Diplomacy if the GM is alright with that, otherwise uses Acrobatics to get into all the places needing good balance.
Aella uses survival to find the best place for us to cross, so we can do the work from both sides. Might also find something in the terrain that we can take advantage of.
Scary Gourd uses Nature to find materials to use in the repair.
Ezren uses the materials with his crafting.
Isder uses Acrobatics to get into all the places that require good balance.
Parnel let’s us know how he fits in this.
Does the above sound like a plan? Please speak up if you’ve alternatives that you think would work better, even if it is something like your character wanting a different job. Sounds like this is a pretty open challenge, just need to relate the skill to repairing the bridge.

Re: One for All - I'm happy to allow that but if it helps, you do need a certain # of successes on this task.
Re: Warfare Lore - Hmm...I could see a case for using this to help reverse-engineer a fix for the bridge. After all, the destruction of enemy structures and supply routes is a thing that happens during war and to do that efficiently you'd need at least a basic understanding of their construction and where the weakest points are.
______________
Looks like you've got a pretty good plan in the works! I'll give you guys a bit longer to make sure Parnel and everyone else has a chance to chime in with any other suggestions or ideas before I nudge you to put your plan into action.

GM Ladile |

Work and outside commitments have been nuts this week but I'm going to go ahead and nudge things along. Having checked into his other games it looks like Parnel's player has similarly been swamped with RL so I'm going to go ahead and bot them for the moment until they're hopefully able to check in again.

Environmental Conditions: Severe Fog - Creatures between 10 and 20 feet away are Concealed (DC 5 flat check to target; this includes allies). Greater than that, they are Hidden (DC 11 flat check to target).
———
I believe you generally need to be able to see something or have a good description of it in order to identify it. So far Scary Gourd has not spent an action to Point Out the big one so I don’t think others can identify or target it.
He is sort of busy proving skeletons aren’t immune to piercing damage. :)

GM Ladile |

Wrapped up the PF1 special for which I was House GM earlier today, so here's to a little more time back to devote to my other games! :)

![]() |

If 5' step still a thing?
Yes, but it is not "free" (i.e., it costs one of your three actions) nor does it prohibit taking a separate Stride action during the turn (e.g., you could Stride then Step to move adjacent to a creature with 10 ft reach or Step then Stride to escape from a creature you suspect has an AOO or other reaction to a Move action.

GM Ladile |

^Yes, what Sebasti said. No longer a 'free' action but you have much more flexibility in how you use it.
______________
Now that you've finished off the last two skeletons I imagine the rest of this battle won't take too terribly long. I know we're very close to the end of Gameday; is everyone still down to play Somewhere Below after this? While we won't finish before convention's end, I can still report it under the Gameday umbrella as long as we at least get started before November 15th.
If you'd rather *not* continue on to Somewhere Below after this, I completely understand! I know we're creeping up on holiday busyness (at least here in the US) and things tend to slow down from now until after the new year.
For folks who *do* want to continue on, I'm happy to run since I promised 3 bounties. If need be, I can put out a call for additional players :)

![]() |

I was wondering if we would attempt the third.
I am happy to continue, but will need to apply it to a new character. I already have it on Scary Gourd and just recently leveled my last 1st level character to 2nd yesterday.
Anyone have a request for what class I should bring?

GM Ladile |

Alrighty, that's it for The Tireless Path! The game has been reported and you can find your chronicles --> here. Please look them over and let me know if any changes need to be made :)
______________
It sounds like everyone but Parnel is game to continue on to Somewhere Below (albeit with some character swaps). Fantastic! I'll put out a call shortly for a 6th person and I'll aim to hopefully get us rolling (or at least the intro post posted) tomorrow afternoon/evening.

GM Ladile |

Actually, I did already have a new 6th wrangled but was only able to get them dotted into the campaign this morning. I also didn't have time to get a post up last night like I wanted *BUT* I'm about to rectify that. Please stand by :)

GM Ladile |

Post is up! For the new player (Bubba) and new character (Scary Gourd's replacement), please be sure to post/update your information on Slide #2 and place yourselves where you want in the marching order on Slide #3.

Dennis Pregen |

Yeah, I think the system just looks to whether you have two reported games, regardless of type.

GM Ladile |

Looks like Tireless Path got posted sometime yesterday evening and I just submitted the report for this bounty a few minutes ago. I expect there to be another big surge of reported games as today officially marks the last day/end of Gameday, so this one should post pretty soon!
