Oh, just before anyone asks -- I'm not a bird. I just liked the avatar image... Quickblade is human. :)

I'll be joining this game, but I'm still undecided on a character. I've signed up for multiple games with mixed levels, so I'm just waiting to see if anything crystallizes.

Possibilities:

- Potipher Perkins, human (skilled) witch (Baba Yaga) 3
- Anschluss, kayal (liminal) ranger (precision) 2*
- Merian Seiche, azarketi (thalassic) magus** 1
- Ananaki of Sumer, lizardfolk rogue (mastermind) 1
- Pei Min, human bard 1

I think character sheets for everyone except Pei Min are up. Merian is currently listed as a fighter.

Right now I've tentatively slotted Anschluss, so I'm going to dot in with him.

Oh, yeah, I should also check in. I'm kinda doing the same thing as Watery Soup, trying to figure out who to send on which scenario. Right now I'm fairly sure I'm bringing a fresh 1st level summoner to this special. I don't have a profile set up for that character yet, but then again I have a bit of time, don't I?

I wanted to use this time to say hi :D Sice I haven't done this at this table

@Gm Blake I actually don't think I ever played at any of your table. I played with your PC's in SFS (Emerald Cerulean Gold) and PF2 (Locke, Masigonde and White Hawk for sure). I am glad to have a chance to see how you GM.

@Watery Soup - that is funny as I think I only ever played with you when both of us were players only one time and it was a quest :D I said hi at every other table that we play, so here you have it again: great to be playing with you!

@CamL - I don't think we ever played together so it is a pleasure to meet you!

@Mighty Glacier - hey man, as I wrote on my table, great to see you after a year of not playing together (actually at your table but for me it still counts as together) ;)

@UncleFroggy - hey mate! I am glad that you found that spot! Nice to be playing with you again. But this time, please post a detailed description of Quickblade as in my mind he always is a Tengu, just without the Tengu specific skills and ACP cost ;)

In sheet, there is also a 6th player that I don't think I know.

Anywho, just for the record Ulrich is an investigator (Interrogator) which means that he has plenty of skills althou for some reason I usually roll really low with him :( He has Pointed question which I am awaiting to still use ;)

Anyways, I already played this special but at tier 3-4(3-6 technically). I know that at least UncleFroggy never played in PF2 special, I PM'ed him what was my experience with them. But I thought that maybe GM should know that ;)

A tall dark man wearing a paper mask of a large raven, complete with a wooden beak walks up to Ulrich. He wears a coat of feathers and boots shaped like a bird's talons. :)

As a heads up, the mustering phase activities go pretty quick. For those of you new to multi-table specials, there's a series of very brief activities that characters can roll against to gain benefits to use during the scenario.

When the event starts, I'll briefly describe the situation and then call for the checks.

Please complete the marching order slide and macro sheet, both linked at the top of this campaign, if you have not yet done so.

I've placed the first two mini-tasks. Only one person needs to succeed for all to gain the benefits. There's no penalty for failure.

Just, please, indicate which task you're working on. I'll post more over time to keep things moving.

The first task has a critical success to be achieved. Anyone who has not rolled for the first task (Urwal) can still try for that (DC 15, so a natural 20 or a result of 25).

The second task is a critical success.

The 3rd slide in the Maps & Tokens link lists your rewards. When you have a choice (e.g., choosing 1 antiplague or 1 antidote), you can let me know in gameplay with your next post or here in discussion or enter it yourself.

When the reward is fixed, I will fill it in for you.

Out of curiosity, how does one get the special? It's not for sale in the Paizo store, is it?

Convention Organizers request it. It requires a minimum table number depending on the special.

I looked for w witty response to a question does Ulrich comes from a dwarf. I wanted to refer to the fact that Quickblade is not a Tengu => I couldn't have come up with anything better than 'shut your beak' :) So here we are.

Funny enough, I took the names from Malakai Makaisson (from a troll slayer book series). I took Makaisson as a last name for Ulrich, and at least 2 times I looked for dwarf name and took the first part of the last name: Makai for two dwarfs (one in SFS the other in PF2).

Everyone: the last mustering task is posted. You can also go back and make a check on any of the tasks that did not critically succeed, if you did not yet make a check on that task.

Aid Tokens have changed, so for both those new to multi-table specials and those who have yet to participate at one in 2nd edition, Aid Tokens are passed from one table to another to represent the assistance of other Pathfinders during your efforts. This in combination with the shared victory conditions is what makes it interactive.

Now, each table starts with 4 Aid Tokens (see Slide 2 for explanation of what each of the 4 does). During each of the 4 parts of this scenario, you will attempt to boost an Aid Token and pass it to another table. You can't use your starting tokens; you can only pass them.

Throughout the scenario, you will receive Aid Tokens from other tables. These are the tokens you can use. If, at any point, you want to request a specific Aid Token to get you out of a jam, let me know, and I'll try to solicit one. We can't wait too long (asking for help works better live when you can stand up and shout to a bunch of tables around you).

I forgot the point of me telling you all that about Aid Tokens now: it is time to attempt to boost and pass your first Aid Token.

First, decide which token you want to pass. Then make the associated check or cost (if you can/desire) to attempt to boost it--only one person may attempt to boost. Finally, tell me what table range (1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-10, GM choice) you would like to pass it too.

We can't wait too long (asking for help works better live when you can stand up and shout to a bunch of tables around you).

I suppose that's the part that involves a lot of yelling across the room. Being the newbie to all this I'm just going to watch and learn...

Let's send out either Timely Inspiration and Provide Knowledge for our first Aid Token. The others seem like they will be more useful later on.

Mustering will be ending in just over 5 hours, so let's go with Timely Inspiration, first mentioned.

I need 1 person to make 1 Performance check to try to boost it. If anyone has a preference for what tier table to send it to, post it. Else I'll pass it randomly once I've seen the check has been made.

I don't think anyone is trained in Performance. Nant be our best with a +4 untrained.

No harm in failing the boost check other than failing to boost. :)

He's screened by the creatures between you and it, but yes.

Can I step in difficult terrain? Basically if I move to the southeast (to flank yellow). Will that be considered a stride?

You cannot Step in Difficult Terrain (barring feats or other features that give your character an exception).

Difficult Terrain rules

'You can’t Step into difficult terrain.'

There is a Feather step feat that allows you to do this.

Then I hope those creatures don't have AoO...
