Kelda Highcliff |

Wooowww.....I just realized how badly I spelled that. I was still pretty tired I guess. Even after laying down for a while right after I got home from work.

Lysithia Pasiphae |

I hope that was okay, I'm not used to being on that side of the lap.
Hehehe. It's all good.
Lysithia continues on, calmly catching Kelta's hand as she tries to block her, feeling that she is approaching the tipping point. As the tears start, she holds her closely as she muffles her cries in the blankets, and as she finally releases all the emotions she's been holding in for far too long she stops, holding on to her love comfortingly as she pours out her emotions.
Lysithia lets her simply lay in her lap, crying to express herself as she lovingly rubs her back, until the sobs begin to die down. "It's all right love, I know you're sorry. You were such a good girl taking your punishment. I'm glad you let it all out sweetheart. I love you so much." she says softly, letting her get the rest of the much-needed release out of her system so that she could heal emotionally.

Kelda Highcliff |

Sensing that the very thorough loving spanking from her beloved was over for now as she could feel her hand lovingly rub her back, while speaking soft words of love and support, Kelda pulls her hand back from Lysi so she can reach behind her to rub her sore bottom.
Turning her head slightly to look up a little at her love, "Can I...get up now?" She asks softly between sniffles. In the time they have been together, Lysithia has never seen Kelda so vulnerable.

Lysithia Pasiphae |

Listening to the sobs die down as her love comes to terms with the emotional release, Lysithia feels an overwhelming sense of nurturing love. The fragile tone of voice, and vulnerable look in her love's eyes only heightens the tenderness of the moment.
"Of course you can love," she says, releasing her and shifting her weight to slowly let Kelda up, gently guiding her to lay on her stomach on the bed. Going over to her pack, she takes out a small jar of salve, made from different plants and herbs to ease the pain or discomfort of things like sunburn or poison ivy. Sitting beside her, she gently applies some of it to the sore bottom, telling her how well she did, and how proud she was of her for being able to let go.

As Lysithia finishes rubbing the cream into her rear, Kelda starts pulling her panties back up and over her still slightly throbbing bottom. Turning on her side to face her love, "I'm sorry....I really didn't know all that was in there, or that it was...so much. I love you too, and I don't know how I'd...get through any of this...without you." She says, feeling lighter than she had in weeks.
Still feeling some emotional turmoil inside of her, Kelda holds her arms out to her love, "Hold me?" She needed this closeness every bit as much as she needed the spanking that came before it.

Lysithia Pasiphae |

"Always." Lysithia says softly, drawing Kelda into her arms, and pulling the covers over them gently, enveloping her in her loving embrace, providing a sense of safety and comfort.

Kelda Highcliff |

Worn out from her emotional release, Kelda snuggles as close as she possibly can into Lysithia's side.
Wrapped up in Lysithia's arms as well as her love, Kelda lets out a soft sigh of contentment. Lysithia can feel how much more relaxed Kelda's muscles are. Much more calm now, Kelda starts to fall asleep, mumbling a soft I love you before her soft breathing, turns into soft snoring.

Lysithia Pasiphae |

Holding her close, Lysithia listens to the soft sound of Kelda's relaxed breathing, feeling the tension finally having left her body. As she quietly murmurs her love and drifts off into adorable soft snoring, she smiles, surrendering herself to the sense of peace emanating from her love as she drifts off herself.
"I love you too. Forever and always."

Lysithia Pasiphae |

Starting awake, Lysithia slips out of bed, going quickly to the window. Dashing back to the bed, she, gently, but urgently shakes Kelda awake, giving her a quick kiss to soften her awakening. Their brief moment of peace had come to an end.
"Wake up love! The fortress is under attack."

Kelda Highcliff |

Kelda awakes with a start, "We need to hurry. Is Tori up?" She asks, quickly bouncing off the bed and running to their equipment. She ignores the slight sting in her rear from bounding off the bed, the slight heat in her seat a reminder of their talk the previous evening. Ignoring her aching rear, Kelda rushes to don her clothing and armor.

Lysithia Pasiphae |

Realizing that Kelda's armor was more intricate, Lysithia moves to help her don hers first. "I don't know! I'll check in a moment. Let me help you with your armor first!"
My armor takes a minute to don or 5 rounds to don hastily, yours takes 4 minutes to don or 1 minute to don hastily. If we take turns helping each other we can cut that time in half. (Don hastily is -1 AC until we get time to fix it)

Kelda Highcliff |

Kelda nods, "Okay, I'll help you as soon as we're done getting mine on." She says, quickly getting her boots on.

Lysithia Pasiphae |

Working as quickly as she can, Lysithia gets to work, helping Kelda get her armor on, buckled, and securely fastened as well as possible given the urgency. Once done, she grabs her own armor and begins donning it with her love's help.

Kelda Highcliff |

With everything on and their equipment and weapons gathered up, Kelda looks up in time to see Astoria heading for the wall.
Looking up at Lysithia, "Tori's heading to the wall already. Come on, we got to go." She says with a note of urgency to her voice.
Hammer in hand, she double times it to the wall in an attempt to catch up with Astoria, Lysithia hot on her heels.

Quickly running out of options to help in the fight, Astoria waits until Kelda and Lysithia act to see if there's something she can do.

On my last attack, I don't think I added the bonus for flanking. So my modifier should have been a +10. 1 for my hatred, 1 for bless, 2 for charging, and 2 for flanking. My regular melee bonus before any modifiers is a +4, so that would make it a +10, which means my roll is an 18, not 16. Does an 18 hit the little bugger?

Astoria assumes a defensive position, even though the fight is nearly won.
Now I completely understand why Astoria never did much. It's not even a glass cannon problem...it's a "three spells and I'm out" problem. With strength being a dump stat and dexterity barely bumped, there's nothing to fall back on.

GM Henry Fortuna |

The last remaining goblin leaps at the old man, trying to finish him off.

With a vicious yell, the guard buries his axe in the goblin's head and puts an end to the fight.
Combat Over.

Kelda Highcliff |

With this fight finally over, Kelda rushes to the old man and puts her hands on him. Willing her healing power to flow through her hands into the older gentleman, she tries to repair some of what the goblins did to him.
Fervor to heal: 1d6 ⇒ 2
Looking to the other two guards she asks, "Do either of you need healing?"

Kelda Highcliff |

Coming back to herself now that the heat of battle was over for now, she could see just how bad off the older man and the guard were.
Keeping her hands on the older gentleman, she sends another wave of healing energy through him.
Please be healed: 1d6 ⇒ 3

Kelda Highcliff |

"Let me work on the guard, and if I need to I can come back to you. Just hang in there alright?"
Going over to the grievously wounded guard, she gently places her hands on him, and wills her healing energy into him.
Pretty pretty please: 1d6 ⇒ 6
Feeling that the worst of his wounds were mended, Kelda returns to the old man, "He will be okay with some rest, let me try to help you a little more."
Kelda takes a deep breath and clears her mind. Placing her hands on him again, she focuses her energy into a healing wave that moves over the injured parts of his body.
Healing: 1d6 ⇒ 2
Kelda shakes her head in frustration before looking over at her love, "Lysi, can you help him please?" She asks, holding onto her side.

Lysithia Pasiphae |

So old man healed 7, Guard healed 6
Cleaning the blood from the end of her staff, Lysithia moves over to where her love works on healing the old man and guard, checking their wounds to assess their condition.
Heal: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27

Kelda Highcliff |

The guard is only down by 2hp now, and I think he said the old man was wounded for a total of 10hp, so he is still down by 3hp. They could probably rest to regain the remainder of their health, but Kelda is just more concerned about the old man due to his advanced years. She's only down 4hp,and is more concerned about making sure the threat is truly over, than healing herself at the moment.
