Kelda Highcliff
Kelda smiles and stretches up to kiss her cheek as they head back to the tents that were set up for sleep, "That is definitely something to look forward to." She responds, before another yawn escapes her.
Kelda Highcliff
1st. Astoria, are you gonna ask Erytheia anything else about the school, or let her know that you were interested in becoming a student? Were you still interested after talking to her? I gots to know!
2nd. I really didn't intend to get Kelda involved with someone right out the gate. I don't know how it keeps happening. Lol It might make for an interesting background story. A married couple that decides to take up adventuring together. The idea has merit.
Lysithia Pasiphae
Lol. That could definitely be interesting. The motivation for adventuring would be interesting. Or it could just be a thing, like The Mummy. "Day jobs" that end up being adventuring.
Kelda Highcliff
Bubba, was there anything else Astoria wanted to ask or tell her? Is everything okay? You've been really quiet, more than usual.
Astoria Rilynrae
Sorry. Getting IC has been harder than usual. My general indecisiveness makes balancing character internal conflict quite troublesome.
Astoria shakes her head. "No I think the rest will sort itself out, thank you for your time." She answers after a moment of thought.
Kelda Highcliff
It's okay Bubba, our main concern is you and making sure you're okay. Henry's right, if you're having a hard time vibing with your character, you could always do something different. The whole point is to have fun with it, so if it's not working for you....maybe change would help? Totally up to you though.
Kelda Highcliff
Once inside the tent set up for them to rest in, Kelda quietly starts laying out the bed rolls so they can lie down together, being careful not to disturb anyone else that might already be sleeping. She takes out a blanket and sets it next to the bedding, so they can pull it over them after lying down.
Lying down she holds her arms out for Lysi, another long yawn escapes her as she waits for her love to join her.
Lysithia Pasiphae
Getting out of her boots and armor, and setting her armor on the ground outside the tent, conjuring water over it, Lysithia crawls into bed beside Kel, snuggling into her arms and pulling the blanket over them both.
Kelda Highcliff
Not having to be on constant alert for once, Kelda's body is in no hurry to wake up. As the sun starts creeping over the horizon, Kelda snores softly while snuggled closely to Lysi.
Lysithia Pasiphae
Lysithia slowly awakens, listening to Kelda's breathing with a smile as she sleeps peacefully. Gently kissing her forehead as she brushes a lock of hair our of her beautiful face, the druidess gently greets he love of her life.
"Good morning beautiful!"
Lysithia Pasiphae
"Looks like it my love. Seems that The night passed by rather peacefully for once. How did you sleep?" Lysithia asks, caressing Kelda's cheek as she lays on her side.
Kelda Highcliff
Kelda sighs and partially opens her eyes, squinting against the light seeping in through the tent, "So well that I wish I could go back. Alas my beloved, it cannot be so. We still have much road to cover." She finishes with a dramatic flair, bringing the back of her hand to her forehead and letting out an exaggerated sigh.
Kelda Highcliff
Sighing again, Kelda drops her arm as she sees Lysithia's amused expression. Looking up into her love's face, Kelda sticks out her lower lip in a pouty way, "I guess that means we have to get up huh? We should find Astoria and find out what's been going on with her, shes been acting strange lately."
Lysithia Pasiphae
Grinning at her love's cute pout, Lysithia slowly sits up, stretching as she does.
"Yeah. I wonder if meeting up with someone from the tower is everything she'd hoped for, or if she's having second thoughts." she replies.

Thinking about the previous evening brings back the memory of her proposal of marriage to Lysi. A blush falls across her cheeks, and her lips form a lopsided grin as she remembers the kiss they shared.
Shaking herself from her thoughts, Kelda realizes that Lysi had finished speaking.
Not quite ready to get up yet, Kelda yawns and props herself up on an elbow. Looking up into Lysithia's face she thinks about Astoria and wonders if she's alright and what she decided to do.
Looking thoughtful she replies, "I don't know, but I hope she knows that whatever she decides to do, that we'll support her. I just want Astoria to be happy with whatever life she chooses. Even....even if that means she chooses to leave. I would miss her, but I would never want her to feel like...like she had to stick around, if she wanted to go." Kelda says the last part a little more softly as she looks back down.
Until they had all met, she didn't really have many other friends. It was hard to think she might lose one when she didn't have many to lose. She didn't want Astoria to think that they wanted to get rid of her, but she also didn't want her to feel like she had to stay.
Lysithia Pasiphae
"I guess the only thing we can do is ask her what she wants to do and let her know we support her decision either way." Lysithia replies with a sigh.
"And I saw that...I can't wait to get a chance to celebrate last night either." the druidess says with a meaningful grin of her own.
Kelda Highcliff
Kelda nods as she sits up with a stretch, "Yeah, let's go ahead and get up then so we can find Astoria. Im not sure where she went to rest last night. I just want to get my armor on first, and make sure we have everything before looking for her."
Hearing Lysithia give voice to what she had been thinking has Kelda suddenly blushing, "I just...ummm...I was remembering the other night, and it hit me that we're going to be married. I've never felt like this before, and I love you like crazy....but, I was wondering if we could wait until we're able to get back to my family to have the ceremony? I know Ma and Da would want to be there. Is that okay my love." Kelda asks, hoping that Lysi is okay with waiting for the actual wedding. She just didn't want to get married without her parents.
Kelda Highcliff
Kelda wraps her arms around Lysi in a tight hug, "Oh thank you my beloved. They would be so upset if we just showed up married. I don't want to take that away from them. Do you have any friends or family that we need to let know of our engagement?" Kelda asks as she finally drag herself out of the bed and starts putting her clothes and armor back on.

I think I need a do-over on this post. I was obviously tired when I wrote it, because I obviously forgot where we were. Not in a bed, but on a pallet on the ground of a tent that was set up to allow multiple people to sleep. Also, Kelda would never get naked to sleep in a community sleeping tent. Lol I will need to reword this post so that it makes sense.
Kelda Highcliff
Leaning over toward Lysithia, Kelda wraps her arms around her in a hug, "Oh thank you my beloved, they would have been so hurt and felt left out if we just showed up married. I would't want to take the experience of their only child getting married to the love of her life away from them. Are there any family or friends of yours that we should send a message to?" She asks, finally getting up from the pallet they slept on. Kelda starts putting her armor back on as she awaits Lysi's response.
Lysithia Pasiphae
" I'd send word to my father in Goddefgarwch, and go visit when we’re back near there… and we could always have a separate, handfasting ceremony, it’s a druid circle sort of pairing ceremony, performed when a person finds their heart-mate.” Lysithia replies.
"My mother would love to witness it."
Kelda Highcliff
Kelda gives her love a smile as she finishes getting ready, "Then that is what we will do. Hopefully we can stop this menace before they destroy everything." She says, her eyebrows knitting together as she thinks about everything they've faced so far, and the possible foes still unknown to them. She really hoped they reached Cooperton in time. She hated that it was taking them so long to get there. The smile slowly leaves her face as she reflects on everything they've already been through, on how many times she came close to losing the love of her life. She had to do better, she just had to.
Lost in her thoughts, Kelda frowns and grunts loudly as she pulls her boots back on, not even noticing that her eyes had become damp with angry tears, born of frustration from not being able to do more to stop the evil in their once peaceful valley from spreading.
Lysithia Pasiphae
Putting on her armor, the druidess passes her fingers through her hair, before, gathering up her staff. Noticing the dampness in her love's eyes and her shift of mood, she bends down to kiss her forehead. "I'm ready my love. We'll get through this, and help as many people as we can along the way. It's all that anyone can ask."
Kelda Highcliff
Being careful of her prickly protective wear, Kelda wraps her arms around Lysithia and gives her a hug, "I know, it's just turning out to be more complicated than I first thought. Let's go find Astoria and see what our friend found about the tower, and what she decided to do." Kelda takes Lysi's hand as they look for Astoria.
Kelda Highcliff
"Look Love, there's Anselina. Maybe she's seen Astoria, let's go ask her." Kelda suggests, heading towards the older woman.
Kelda Highcliff
Kelda nods, "Yes ma'am, it was nice to be able to get a full night's rest, without worrying about something trying to kill us. We were just wondering if you had seen Astoria yet this morning?"
Kelda Highcliff
"Okay, thanks anyways. I also wanted to say how much we appreciate the shelter and the food. We need to go find Astoria and talk with her about some stuff, and then we'll be heading back out for Cooperton as soon as we get something to eat." Kelda says, hoping that Astoria was okay and wondering if she would be staying with them for now, or heading to the tower.
Astoria Rilynrae
After a long night of restlessness Astoria finds a quite place to meditate on her spells while the others rest.
Returning from her daily routine she approaches the other with a stifled yawn. "Good Morning everyone."
Kelda Highcliff
Kelda looks over Tori as Lysithia speaks to her. She notices the tired look of her eyes, her disheveled appearance, and the yawn that escapes doesn't go unnoticed.
Taking a step forward as they greet their friend, tentatively reaching out a hand and gently lays it on her arm, "Are you okay Tori? You still look pretty tired. If...if there's something bothering you, you know you can talk to us right? You're our friend, and we're here for you....no matter what." She says encouragingly, a note of concern in her voice.
Astoria Rilynrae
Astoria smiles, touched by her friends concern. "Hmm, thank you but I'll be alright. I had a lot on my mind last night but it's nothing you need to be troubled with. I assume the two of you have worked out plans for today?" She asks.
Kelda Highcliff
Kelda looks at Tori a little skeptically, but if she said she said she was okay, she wouldn't push her talk about whatever was bothering her.
Giving their friend a nod she says, "Yeah, we're gonna check on Evert before we eat. He seemed a bit shaken up yesterday, as well as that other Lass we found in the cages. I was going to see if she wanted to stay here, or go with us and see if there is a place that appeals to her for settling down in. Once we've got everyone sorted and we've eaten, we'll be heading out to Cooperton. That's the plan as it stands right now."
Kelda Highcliff
Looking at her love briefly, Kelda looks back at Astoria when she doesn't say anything, "So, we saw Anselina heating up food for breakfast. If you wanna wait for us over there, we'll be along as soon as we check in with Evert and Aletta."
With that, Kelda takes Lysi's hand and goes in search of the two halflings.
Kelda Highcliff
Kelda walks up and gives him a smile, "Good mornin' Evert, did you rest well last night? I just wanted to see how you're doing since dealing with everything the other day."
Evert van Rees
"I'm fine, I suppose," Evert says. "I think we'll part ways here, though. I want to check on Duncan and then probably head south to Daedran. I think of all these Kharans prowling around are part of something bigger than just goblins."
Kelda Highcliff
She nods, "You're probably right about that. We've really appreciated your presence both on and off the field of battle. I hope we get to see you again some day. Safe travels and stay well."
