biz-ZWAP! Melissa's electricity is just as effective against the robots as it was in your previous encounters. Ooh, I missed that Jaraduk has an electric doshko! With a crack of thunder, Jaraduk caves in the nearest robot's chest. Akh reaches over the body to bring down the robot on the right flank. Guess?, distracted by the gems falling to the ground - albeit still connected to their mildly-dangerous bodies. Del, with significantly more anger to work out, punches the robot in the face. The robot punches back, but is unable to keep up with her speed. As you work to bring it down, and the crowd of auction attendees begin to pour through the doors behind it, you hear the faint stamping of metal feet echoing down the hallways outside.

The group moves around the last robot, slipping between the fleeing kalistocrats. As they go, both Jaraduk and Akh can't resist dropping in a final blow. Cool guys don't look at explosions falling robots, but you hear a distinctive thunk from behind as the robot succumbs to the wounds in a puddle of wiring fluids. Guess? sheds a single tear for the lost jewels, only consoled by the untold riches ahead of you.

You move into the business lounge outside the bidding room, where the chaos has been condensed into a smaller area. To your right (Map left, the red area) a crowd crush has formed as the majority of the auction attendees try to force their way through a small door. Luckily for you, this is blocking the security robot reinforcements, whose programming is leading them to manage the crowd rather than come after you. Red = Impassable To your left, the crowd is thinner. Between you and the exit are two shimreen, one with pink crystals and one with blue, who are trying to draw a kalistocrat prophet out from under the table he is hiding beneath. He continues to blubber as the bodyguards notice you. Their eyes size you up, taking in your weapons. "You look like trouble. - We don't like trouble."

Mr. Pink laughs at Guess?'s offer of peace. "We ain't paid to let folks pass, we're paid to keep the poors away." Mr. Blue adds, "and only poors hold their own weapons, we'd know." Jaraduk's blow glances off the bodyguard's jeweled armor, while Guess? and Akh chip into them. Akh notices that the shimreen he attacked seems to absorb the acid, hurting more than normal but gaining a soft green glow...

During the opening blows of the fight, both Akh and Melissa notice that these shimreen really aren't trying to stop you from leaving. They are far more focused on keeping their employer safe, and just happen to be in your way. Both bodyguards strike back, but are unable to pierce your armor.

Your group slips by the bodyguards, with Jaraduk getting backstabbed by a crystal lance grown from the shimreen's forearm for the effort. You get out into the hallway and look around. To your right, in the direction of the center of the station, flees the auction crowd - effectively blocking the security guard reinforcements. You head left, towards the dockyards. A block later you pass through an intersection and see another set of security robot reinforcements coming from the side. Staying ahead of them, you keep moving towards your prize.

Ten minutes of hustling later and you reach the outer maintenance ring without trouble. You find yourselves in a familiar hallway, getting dejavu for when you were bullying Estriar (the real one) into giving you his identity. You know that the enormous double doors up on your left will lead you to a hanger that contains another luxury barge. This one shouldn't be empty, like the one you spent over a week in, but should contain wealth beyond your wildest dreams! (Totally makes sense for the end of book four of six...) :) Your dreams (and salivating greed, for some of you) are interrupted by a cascading trio of beep - beep - BEEP!. This is followed by a flurry of morse code style electronic communication between four anacites who round the corner in front of you. "Milady, they have arrived as you said. Intercepting now." Three smaller anacites fly in front on hummingbird wings, brutal hooks hanging beneath their bodies on several cunning arms. Behind them is a larger anacite with an armadillo shell, extremely long arms, and scores of short legs with vacuum suckers for feet. The anacite raises an arm with an integrated electric pulse cannon and another with a sparking plasma welder. "So sorry, your exodus from the station is not approved." Picture on Slide 2! As you prepare to battle your way through to the hanger, a familiar voice comes out of the ship intercoms nearby. "You are a persistent lot. But I'm not going to watch you fly away again. Well, sister, I hope your stomach is stronger now than it was on that space elevator down to Vesk-7." And, with a flicker of the lights, the artificial gravity turns off! Your body encounters zero gravity and your feet separate from the ground! Ah, these rules are so fun but so weird & tough when they're not used often. But I think they're legally required to be used once in every AP! Skim through them and remind yourself of the Zero G quirks. Guess?, Del, and Melissa react well to the change, and outdraw the anacites.

This is an anacite Laborer and three Sentries!

The sentry models won't be much of a threat against you, though their flight abilities will benefit them in this zero gravity environment. They can combine fire, which does increase their threat level exponentially when focusing on one enemy together.

All Laborers modify themselves for their work of choice. This one has additional armor, climbing appendages, and extra long tool arms that give it greater reach to do mechanical work. His climbing will work well in this environment, and the ten foot reach is surprising for his smaller size.

Sounds to me like Jaraduk can move at half speed towards the targets as a move action (and continue to move at that speed next turn) then fire a weapon as a standard action. The tricky part will be later when Jaraduk wants to stop moving/floating. hehehe

It beeps halfheartedly and launches a small frosty energy beam that Akh's armor absorbs easily.

The robocop lashes out with his arm, plasma cutter snapping into Akh's armor.

Whether she gets the AOO to the face or not (whether guess hit or he actually cares about his troops), She'll stabilize the worst hurt robot she thinks she can stabalize.

Does jaraduk keep gliding at his normal move speed or is it supposed to be something different. I've been using move actions each round, which is probably unnecessary since he pushed off in round 1.

You keep floating at the speed without spending an action. Then when you try to stop by grabbing something, like the wall or floor, you spend a move and roll DC20 Acrobatics or Athletics. If you fail, you go off kilter. You can also try stopping by running into someone else, which may then force them to also roll a DC20 check otherwise they go off kilter! Ram the anacite and see what happens! It'll probably get an AOO on you though.

Hearing the whirring, he comments dryly to his allies "You should probably all go. I'll keep this one busy for a moment, then inevitably get trapped and sold into indentured servitude.
