We're in single rounds now, not double, so you only get one chance to use a Full Round Action to gain successes against the Harvester.

Jaraduk successfully pries another sensor from the Harvester's top with a brutal blow of his doshko. Melissa is not so lucky, barely avoiding getting her tail stuck in the articulating joint of one of the harvester's arms as it sways back and forth with deadly force.

In the back, Guess? hits the shoulder plate of the kalo.

Frustrated with the surprisingly feeble pinkstone, Akh turns and realizes that Guess is in the middle of shooting some kalo mercenary. "Oh, we've got company goons too? I hope they're not hiding giant saw blades in their pockets too." (Is it just the one guy or are there more behind him?)

Realizing that he won't be much good against the harvester or the goons in this state, Akh draws and swallows his second and last aquanaut elixir whole to become a swimming expert once more.

Those aquanaut elixirs are really putting in the work!

As Akh prepares, Jaraduk and Melissa work the harvester, and Guess? fights the lone attacker... five more kalo slip out of the shadows and close on you! Half hold spears, dimly shining their own light in the darkness of the deep sea, while the other two hold matching frost rifles. One with a spear points it first at the first kalo, then returns to a fighting stance. "Zaasha, nu ți-ai luat serul?" Another laughs as he fires on Jaraduk, speaking in a gravelly tongue on the public channel. "Nenorocit de amator, Mare Sef o să-ți scoată interiorul."

Draconic:

"Zaasha, did you not take your serum? Freaking amateur, Big Boss is going to pull out your insides."

The battle begins in earnest, as the group is forced to balance stopping the harvester with protecting their own lives! I'm going to hand wave Strek and his Merc's fight, so don't worry about botting him.

After barely twisting out of the way, Akh considers if it's worth trying to wrest the spear from the kalo's grasp. Given the group's general unluckiness, he comes to the conclusion that the backup weapon the kalo has somewhere squirreled away will be just as bad. Instead he focuses on clawing the merc in his reach to monomolecular pieces.

I was thinking through this same thing... At first I thought no AoO, but they leave their cover the previous round so they'd pop up in time for you to smack 'em.

Melissa keeps working on the harvester, successfully turning another key bracket into scrap. Jaraduk... is less successful, only scratching the paint. Guess? hits the first kalo, spraying a little blood into the ocean water. Akh hits the kalo approaching him twice, cutting deep gashes into his armor. Someone can give Del a bot if they have time.

Akh twists with "aquanaut assured agility", just like it guarantees on the bottle. He makes a mental note to leave a good Yolp review when he gets back into a place with infosphere access. Meanwhile, he keeps up his assault on red, intent on keeping the kalo too distracted to go for Guess instead.

If I may suggest a botting option for Del, I'd say a withdraw + a day's weariness on the most injured foe in range. Otherwise we're going to get overwhelmed here.

Your criminal ways will not hamper our leader's efficiencies."

Akh swirls his way past the harvester's grabby arms and slashes at the purple kalo merc. "Jaraduk, I remember autocheffy used to start at the edges of the can, not right in the center. You sure that's right? Oh, and let me just keep this one busy for you for a moment." He tangles his coils around the merc.

Both Melissa and Jaraduk successfully knock more pieces of the harvester into the ocean. The harvester begins to move more raggedly towards the seagrass, emitting smoky substances into the water. On the outskirts of the battle, Strek dispatches his kalo in single combat with a bubbling stream of microwaves. Guess? follows suit with a bullet to the first mercenary's chest. Akh moves in and damages the other kalo, whose grimace is obvious even through the armor.

Silence fills the space between you as the soldier for hire hears just how sad that sounds. "I mean, you'll feel the force of our strength of arms!" This statement is at least slightly backed up by Jaraduk's doshko failing to pierce the shell of the harvester this time.

As Melissa moves to a safer position and Jaraduk keeps working his ultra-expensive can opener on a mega-corporate-can, Akh's claws flash in the darkness of the shadow sea. The kalo in front of him drops to the top of the harvester, overcome by his injuries. In the back, Guess? hits another soldier with a bullet. The kalo responds with "This is just another test! I will come out on top!" Del punches out and, as much a surprise to herself as the mercenary, lands squarely with her glove! Strek moves in and sends a pulse of energy into the mercenary, who goes limp and begins sinking towards the seabed. The last kalo raises his spear in victory. "It seems the chaff has fallen away! And now, you will see!" The kalo swims forward and stabs his spear into a weak joint at the back of Jaraduk's shoulder.

Even as the spear pulls free, a growling feminine voice echoes through the water. "Blood in the water... You've done well. Your loyalty has been rewarded." The harvester jerks and shakes, and one of the two arms carrying the fifteen foot wide sawblades bends backwards to cut into Melissa's torso!

Akh twists into a protective pretzel as the anti-tech spell hits him. The sensation of his logic being overridden and replaced with... well.. nothing... is not altogether unfamiliar. Melissa's shout kicks him suddenly and rather rudely back into gear. "Hm? Hurry with what? What were we doing aga-" He sights Avarin with her duplicates and her finger pointed at him. "OH! It's that very very cool dragon again. And hmm, I think she's trying to kill us. Isn't that amazing?"

Jaraduk, Will Save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22 Wowza, y'all are going crazy with these Will saves.

Frightful Presence Rounds: 5d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 6, 1, 6) = 18 Basically an eternity. This is an emotion, fear, and mind-affecting effect if that helps.

Melissa supports Akh emotionally, if not physically, as she scampers to higher ground. Guess? fires a bullet into the faceplate of the kalo, which explodes in shards of plasti-crete and bubbles. Yet the kalo, face cut, continues to fight back! Blinded by the debris, Jaraduk nearly misses with his hearty swing. Thankfully, the mercenary was thrown off by Guess?'s attack and leans into the blow! With a soft grunt the enemy falls from the roof into a tread of the harvester's massive locomotion apparatus.

Akh gets in close with the executive, threatening - though not striking- her with his claws. Del's knives, uncaring of their target, stab into all three of the dragons (thankfully not the fourth metal one nearby) and they begin to bleed into their suits.

As Akh feels the devastating effects of that spell, Guess? sends yet another bullet into an enemy's helmet. Though it only cracks the scales of Avarin's natural armor, you can see the irritation in the dragon's face grow. Melissa, whose HUD indicators are flashing just a little more than Del and Jaraduk's, keeps working on the harvester with focused precision. Her hacking is successful, increasing the stuttering motions as the Harvester's voracious hunger consumes the local fauna at a slightly slower pace.

As Guess?'s shot bursts one of the three dragons into the figment it really was, the rest of the group struggles to harm the executive. Lady Avarin cackles in her gruff voice as she fervently kicks and swims away from Akh in such an ungainly fashion. "What, feeling tired? Knockoff." Both images of the dragon swim up next to Guess?, threatening him with those fierce claws. One of those claws is a little preoccupied with the datapad. "Hey, rodent. I hear you left the company. Well, stop touching our stuff!" Responding to the dragon's commands, the blade that Melissa was just working to dislodge comes clattering backwards. Spinning wildly, it digs deeply into her exhausted armor. Blood sprays into the water, and Melissa falls to ocean floor just inches from the receding Harvester tracks. An emergent message flashes along the bottom of your armor's viewport. RECOGNIZED TEAMMATE REQUIRES EMERGENCY SERVICES.

Not quite sure how this works except for normal damage, but essentially hoping to lodge the grenade *in* an opening so that it does more (internal) damage. Is that possible?.

Seeing yet another mirror image of the dragon wink out of existence instead of drawing blood, Guess? smiles weakly.

GM Ewok, any chance Strek (or Melissa if she recovers) can possibly hack the harvester to swing that blade at Avarin? Is that something that can be attempted?
