Moxie then frowns and starts digging into her backpack for something. She pulls out a small handheld device with a small digital display screen. "I forgot I bought this awhile back! Its a broad spectrum scanner. Its supposed to help with finding things." Moxie laughs and says, "This would have been useful to have earlier, I guess."

Its a tool kit that grants a +4 to Perception checks to search. I forgot I bought it a few scenarios ago. If someone else needs it, they can use it instead.

Moxie holds the device out and points it at the mangled body.

Thick metal conductors snake in a geometric pattern in this area’s center. Bolts of electricity course among the conductors, creating a beautiful but deadly dance of lights from the floor to the ceiling.

This is similar to the area where you fought the scavenger slime, though there does not appear to be any creatures here.

This dark alcove contains a single overbearing feature: a rounded tank stretching from the floor to the ceiling. Green liquid sloshes about in the tank as the tekenki sways, causing the vessel’s strangely inscribed metal frame to creak and groan. In the middle of the tank, a suspended, pulsing biological mass hangs, ragged tendrils of tubing and flesh dangling from it like vestigial tails. A dark mass lies eerily still at the bottom of the tank.

Near it are two creatures that look like a combination of wolf and crocodile, with two heads and numerous eyestalks extending from each jaw.

Some of the appendages from the creature in the rear detach from tis face and move toward the party.

The tekenki’s hulking frame lurches wildly, likely the result of a massive blow it’s suffered from the kyokor. For the next minute, at the beginning of every round, all creatures in combat inside the tekenki must make a successful DC 20 Reflex saving throw or lose their move action on their turn.

Moxie is using Inspired Boost to restore 19 Stamina to Azara and is using a Resolve point to grant her allies a +2 to attack AND damage against ALL creatures this round.

Bugface fires another blast of plasma at both enemies.

Dusty, failing the save doesn't make you fall, you just lose your move action. The net effect is the same in this case.

Dusty almost tumbles, but his shot hits home.

Moxie stumbles a bit, but fires a shot that hits home.

Azara is fully powered up, but can't use all that power just yet. He does slice the creature with his solar weapon, however.

Bugface avoids the shaking of the creature, but just misses with his fork.

Oddman can't stabilize himself well enough to make the next throw hit.

The creature tumbles, preventing it from chewing on Azara quite as much this round.

Azara is proving to be quite the snack.

Oddman is still unbalanced, but strikes the creature with his trident once more. It falls to the ground, and the appendages trying to feed on Bugface detach as well.

Azara (-56 SP)

This dark alcove contains a single overbearing feature: a rounded tank stretching from the floor to the ceiling. Green liquid sloshes about in the tank as the tekenki sways, causing the vessel’s strangely inscribed metal frame to creak and groan. In the middle of the tank, a suspended, pulsing biological mass hangs, ragged tendrils of tubing and flesh dangling from it like vestigial tails. A dark mass lies eerily still at the bottom of the tank.
