Abilities
Flesh of Wood Element wood; Type defense (Su); Level —; Burn 0
Your skin toughens like timber and can turn aside some blows. You gain a +1 enhancement bonus to your existing natural armor bonus. By accepting 1 point of burn, you can increase this enhancement bonus by 1. For every 3 levels beyond 2nd, you can accept 1 additional point of burn to further increase this enhancement bonus by 1 (to a maximum of +7 at 17th level). Whenever you accept burn while using a wood wild talent, phytokinetic power causes your full natural armor bonus to apply to your touch AC for 1 round. You can dismiss and restore this effect as an immediate action.

Woodland Step (Su) Element wood; Type utility (Su); Level 1; Burn 0
You gain woodland stride, as per the druid ability (may move through any sort of undergrowth (such as natural thorns, briars, overgrown areas, and similar terrain) at her normal speed and without taking damage or suffering any other impairment). Due to your ability to manipulate plants, you can attempt a caster level check (DC = 11 + the spell’s caster level) as a standard action to also ignore magically manipulated plants (but not creatures of the plant type).

Improve skills: Acrobatics, Climb, Craft (Bowyer), Knowledge: Geography, Knowledge: Nature, Perception, Profession (Hunter), Stealth, Survival, Swim

Gain Precise Summoned Animal (chose Outflank) and Track.

Learn the spells: Create Water and Ironbloom Sprouts

Precise Summoned Animal: At 2nd level, a hunter chooses either Precise Shot or Outflank as a bonus feat. She does not need to meet the prerequisites for this feat. She automatically grants all her teamwork feats to all animals she summons with summon nature’s ally. This ability alters precise companion.

Track: At 2nd level, a hunter adds 1/2 her level to Survival skill checks made to follow tracks.

Ironbloom Sprouts: This spell functions like goodberry, except as noted above and that it transforms 2d4 mushrooms into magical ironbloom mushrooms rather than transforming common berries into magical berries. Alternatively, you may create twice as many mushrooms, but each only has the nourishment ability of a goodberry and not the healing properties.

If I dedicate all my spells to casting this every day, on average we'll need to feed ONE PERSON from supplies per day. If we start to get short, that'll matter. Not that I WANT to dedicate spells to it. But it would make sense to "dump" spell slots into this effort at the end of the day if we have the mushrooms and the spell slots went unused.

No, though that would have been pretty great. The Field of Dreams game was a really fun one to watch. I think 3 of the players there were recently traded away from her team, actually.

She's a really big Rangers (and Adrian Beltre) fan. That Saturday evening the Rangers added Beltre to the Rangers Hall of Fame. So, we were up there for the 3 game series, Friday/Sat/Sun. Basement dwellers (Rangers) won the series, oddly enough. Drove up Friday morning and home after the Sunday afternoon game, not getting to bed until after midnight.

We've been to 7 Rangers games, ever. 5 in the new stadium. I think this last time she figured out where she WANTS to sit if she can get tickets. And I think I got her to understand that tickets will be both cheaper and easier to get if we plan for weekday trips and not weekend trips. I have the vacation time at work for that, and making her happy is a perfect way to use vacation time, am I right?

Absolutely right, sir...lol!

We have have been out of work, since June; so, we been taking mini-vacations all over Michigan. Going during the week (instead of weekends) has been very beneficial financially and with lower crowdedness.
Unfortunately. I will need to get back to work next month...lol. My PbP may slow a bit then; but, that is next months problem!

GAME ON!

EDIT: 2nd level! Sweet! I would suggest we get the refugees to the abandoned farm house; secure them; then, we travel to Fort Nunder (assuming it is friendly to Phendar?).
Obviously, that plan/route would be fluid, but, it may make military sense.

does anyone mind if Brunner claims the breastplate? Happy to give up the heavy crossbow if anyone wants it.

Once the playing characters select armor, weapons and consumables off of the spread sheet, I’ll distribute the remaining armor and weapons to the townsfolk based on this list and the AC they presently have:

GMMichael, could you add whatever weapons they are carrying to the list so I know who to arm, or who to arm more?

At 2nd level and higher, a rogue can avoid even magical and unusual attacks with great agility. If she makes a successful Reflex saving throw against an attack that normally deals half damage on a successful save, she instead takes no damage. Evasion can be used only if the rogue is wearing light armor or no armor. A helpless rogue does not gain the benefit of evasion.

Rogue Talent, Combat Trick: Combat Reflexes:
Benefit: You may make a number of additional attacks of opportunity per round equal to your Dexterity bonus. With this feat, you may also make attacks of opportunity while flat-footed.
Normal: A character without this feat can make only one attack of opportunity per round and can’t make attacks of opportunity while flat-footed.
Special: The Combat Reflexes feat does not allow a rogue to use her opportunist ability more than once per round.

I passed the torch for distributing melee weapons and shields, but some of the consumables ought to be spread out, too.

Edit: I did skip assigning the Studded Leather and Leather armors. The Studded Leather will penalize the non-proficient person wearing it. The Leather will NOT. I guess we could give the studded to one of the half-elven hunters, so we're assigning 2 sets of penalty free armor.

Thanks Barhador!

I will work on weapons and shields this morning, but I am going to claim the MW breastplate and give someone Brunner's scale mail. If no one else wants it I will also claim the MW axe.

I think I will swap out Ethan's hide armor for a chain shirt.

The weight and protection are the same, but the armor check penalty is better.

He'd take Brunner's offer of the scale mail, but he's kinda bogged down with stuff as it is. Of course, once we have a camp, he'll be able to divest himself of a lot of traveling gear, so he might take the better armor at that point.

One of the NPC can have my old Hide Armor. It's the same protection as a chain shirt, just bulkier.

I am considering the MW buckler, since if I remember correctly, they can be used with bows without penalty, and the MW quality will negate the -1 ACP. That will give Ethan a 17 AC, which might make a difference in a situation where the healer needs to remain standing.

I have it listed to you. If you change your mind give it to Ramond.

First of all, I’ve marked the 5 potions of CLW to the group, so each of you put one in your inventory. Please mark any other potions your wands that you are taking on the sheet, or else it will go in the bag with everything else.

I think everything is reasonably assigned Once I’ve got it cleared with GM Michael I will clear everything off of the sheet, and leave everything listed ‘in the bag’

Obviously I have not adjusted anyone's AC, other than Brunner's :)

Is everyone good if I remove the items we've taken or passed out from the spread sheet?

Please make sure you've put one potion of CLW on you personal sheet along with anything you've claimed!

Arkhan isn't good...yet, but he is (subconsciously) working on it!

Yes; Arkhan has the cold-iron scimitar and 1 Potion of cure light wounds added to his sheet.

Thank you, Brunner!

That +1 Will saves bit only applies while wearing a trophy taken from an animal with a CR greater than my level. I mean, I won't refuse the bonus if you apply it otherwise, but, just trying to be clean on the rule side.

I have put the MW bow and potion on my character sheet.

And I have to ask, over the past couple of posts, have my military and managerial experiences manifested in any way? <evil grin>

I mean, I skipped putting a 5th guy (archer, of course) on the roof . . ..

Was going to post, wanted to double check what Ethan was recommending. Are you thinking sending scouts, or splitting the party, or the whole party heading that way and sending the NPC's to the fort?

I'd rather not split the party, but I think Brunner would see get everyone to safety as the priority. What do you have in mind?

We could move in parallel, with the scouting team a mile west of the larger refugee group. If the scouts find anything it would be only a few minutes to reconnect with the rest of the party.
