Thank you, all of you, was just a very very clear and present reminder that we are not quite there yet ... and this was a good guy. Taking care of his family in the States and in Mexico. Just amazing.

I go to a local barber college. One of the Dine students told me that she has lost 7 family members to COVID since March of last year.

The first person I met here in CDMX was like that, his family back in Colombia was decimated. Losing his dad was the worst, but it seemed to just keep coming, and he was pretty broken ... and I had no idea my texting with him in July would be his last day either.
