Measure of the Crown
The Measure states that honor begins with the precepts of Loyalty and Obedience, and a Knight of the Crown exemplifies these two traits in every action and thought.

Loyalty is a Knight’s commitment to a higher authority. Justly given, loyalty becomes worth more than any treasure. Obedience is the practical application of loyalty. A Knight obeys those to whom he is loyal, regardless of his own welfare or personal opinion.

Knights of the Crown pledge loyalty to the gods of Good, specifically to Kiri-Jolith and Habbakuk, and they are loyal to the memory of Paladine. This pledge also extends to the Knights’ new patron, Shinare, despite the fact that she is a neutral deity. Loyalty is also given to one’s family, those oppressed by Evil, and to the just, deserving rulers who are in good standing with the Knighthood.

A Crown Knight is responsible for serving and aiding any fellow Knight who is on the business of his Order and requires assistance, provided it does not violate a lawful order given by his superiors. He must also serve the kingdoms on the List of Honor, as compiled by the Grand Circle of Knights.

Any Crown Knight found violating the precepts of the Measure will be tried before a Knightly Council.
Any Knight found guilty will be reduced in rank and/ or have his Knighthood stripped from him.

Measure of the Sword

The Measure maintains that the next components of honor are Heroism, Courage, and Spirituality. This is the Measure of the Sword.
A strong spirit and faith in the patron deities of the Knighthood form
the spring from which courage and heroism flow. Courage is the will to strike a blow for the cause of Good, no matter what the personal cost.

Heroism is this same spirit of self-sacrifice, dedicated to defending the world against the forces of Evil in all of its forms. The heroic, courageous Knight is a champion of the weak, defenseless, oppressed, poor, enslaved, and falsely accused, and he always renders aid to those in need.

While no truly courageous and heroic Knight would run from a battle or decline combat with an Evil foe, the Measure does recognize that it is fruitless to throw oneself away in a battle that cannot possibly be \ won. The Measure teaches a Knight prudence in choosing his battles and that it is better to live to fight another day than to die in a battle that cannot be won.

A Knight of the Sword must pay homage to Kiri- Jolith and the other gods of Good each day. A Clerist must spend one day a week fasting with prayer to Kiri-Jolith at sunrise, noon, and sunset. A Sword Knight must eagerly engage evil opponents without needlessly throwing his life away, protect the weak and defenseless, and foreswear the use of his Knightly powers for unrighteous reasons.

Measure of the Rose

According to the Measure, the final components of honor are Wisdom and Justice. These are the ideals embraced by the Knights of the Rose. Wisdom is the ability to combine knowledge, experience, understanding, and common sense with insight. Justice is applying that wisdom to what is written in the Measure and using it to defend those in need and to further the cause of Good. The wise Knight is a beacon of reason and good in the darkness of ignorance and injustice.

A Knight of the Rose is expected to honor the gods of Good in all things at all times. He is to fight for justice without regard to personal safety or comfort, and sacrifice all in the name of honor.

Thanks! As a squire, do you have to follow at least the Crown?

In my backstory, I set his Knight mentor as Knight of the Rose. So technically he should be following the Code of the rose.

Thank the heavens For Shinare.

The revised Oath and Measure isn't that bad.

What is certain is...I'll be taking levels in all 3 knighthood prestige class to represent Windsworn slowly rising up the ranks. So my Feats are kinda locked.

After all there was a certain knight who started as as Spell thief. :)

There is the oath and the measure.

The oath is this: "Est Sularus oth Mithas", or "My honor is my life." it means if He gives his word he must follow it. He doesn't need to say more.

Male Silvanesti Elf Wizard (5)/Wizard of High Sorcery (10)/Archmage (5)

I think that you would need to go up in the Orders though, though your sponsor belonged to the Order of the Rose, you sill have to belong to the Order of the Crown and then the Sword, however, you do not need levels in the PRC if you want to take Rose levels.

Male Silvanesti Elf Wizard (5)/Wizard of High Sorcery (10)/Archmage (5)

Well let's see: two six person tents two ten foot poles 24 pitons 2 hammers four water flasks 10 oil, 10 alchemist fire, 12 cots, a wonderous item that can cast unseen servant once or twice per day...

It’s awesome that the wizardess has a bag of holding so we can keep the bulky items in there.

Maybe some lightweight rope? Rope is always good.

I thought they would cover incidentals for free?

Male Silvanesti Elf Wizard (5)/Wizard of High Sorcery (10)/Archmage (5)

Define incidentals...

Dark Archive

male Human Oracle 8 (divine herbalist-life mystery) 75 hp max, +6 f, +6 r, +8 w, perc +19, init +7

Let me know how much they will cover?

Male Silvanesti Elf Wizard (5)/Wizard of High Sorcery (10)/Archmage (5)

What do you mean by incidentials.

Silvanesti evoker 1 HP 8/8, AC 13, touch 13, flat-footed 10, Fort +1, Ref +3, Will +3 Init +3; Senses +6

These I would consider regular arms and armor and incidental gear
Breast plate for Windsworn.
Chain shirt for khyber
Some spare arrow making supplies
Sword and clothing for Erystelle.
Elven trail rations
Shield
two six person tents
two ten foot poles
24 pitons
2 hammers
four water flasks
10 oil,
12 cots. Did we really want 12 cots? Or 5 or 6?

These I would consider special gear
10 alchemist fire
Maybe some lightweight rope? (Silk)
wonderous item that can cast unseen servant once or twice per day...
4 masterwork healing kits.

Male Silvanesti Elf Wizard (5)/Wizard of High Sorcery (10)/Archmage (5)

The tents and things like that, regular equipment they can produce for free. Armor and weapons they will give for half price.

Elf ranger 1 NG Init +5 HP 12/12 AC 18/20, touch 15/17, flat-footed 14/16 Fort +3, Ref +6, Will +2; +2 vs. enchantments, Senses +8 Sense Motive +7

Okay for sure I think we should do the armor, if needed we will drop the spare sword for Erystelle first and the shield second.

Starting 250
-50 for Chainshirt
-100 for Breastplate
-7.5 long sword
-26.5Quickdraw Shield

Trade in
+12.5 Studded Leather
+25 Scale

103.5 left Unless we need to drop the sword and shield to get something more important.

Here are some things that might be useful?

Kit, Healer’s
Price 50 gp; Weight 1 lb.
This collection of bandages and herbs provides a +2 circumstance bonus on Heal checks. A healer’s kit is exhausted after 10 uses.

Tools, Surgeon’s
Price 20 gp; Weight 5 lbs.
When used in conjunction with a healer’s kit, surgeon’s tools raise the kit’s bonus to a +3 circumstance bonus on Heal checks to treat wounds or deadly wounds.

Silvanesti evoker 1 HP 8/8, AC 13, touch 13, flat-footed 10, Fort +1, Ref +3, Will +3 Init +3; Senses +6

Alchemist Fire is 20gp each

Male Human Gesalt Paladin (Faithful Wanderer)/Fighter (Unbreakable) 1 | HP: 13/13| AC: 17(18)/12/15(16)|Init: +2| Perc: +7| Fort: +4| Ref: +2| Will: +2| CMB: +4| CMD: 16| Falchion: +4;2d4+4| Morningstar: +4;1d8+3| Longbow +3;1d8|

Drop the breastplate.
I feel that 100 steel is better used someplace else.

Elf ranger 1 NG Init +5 HP 12/12 AC 18/20, touch 15/17, flat-footed 14/16 Fort +3, Ref +6, Will +2; +2 vs. enchantments, Senses +8 Sense Motive +7

The cool thing about the breast plate is you can build it into half and full plate eventually. In Dragonlance getting armor can be hard it is a good opportunity and later we might find a smith who can make it into agile breastplate by fitting it to your body. We have a small group so having you well armored on the front line helps us all.

If you or your character really don’t want it that’s fine, I just want to let you know as a player I am cool with you getting it and it’s only 75 steel with the trade in verses 200.

Male Silvanesti Elf Wizard (5)/Wizard of High Sorcery (10)/Archmage (5)

The only thing with that is that in game terms you can only wear 1 type of armor on at a time.

Elf ranger 1 NG Init +5 HP 12/12 AC 18/20, touch 15/17, flat-footed 14/16 Fort +3, Ref +6, Will +2; +2 vs. enchantments, Senses +8 Sense Motive +7

178.5 steel left if Windsworn does not take the armor.

Anatoli, do you need herbalist supplies? What things does your character class need?

Dark Archive

male Human Oracle 8 (divine herbalist-life mystery) 75 hp max, +6 f, +6 r, +8 w, perc +19, init +7

I am fine without the healing kits really, take the armor. The class doesn't specifically say I need to have them but I can make heal roles to remove conditions and such and healers kits give bonus to it.

Male Human Gesalt Paladin (Faithful Wanderer)/Fighter (Unbreakable) 1 | HP: 13/13| AC: 17(18)/12/15(16)|Init: +2| Perc: +7| Fort: +4| Ref: +2| Will: +2| CMB: +4| CMD: 16| Falchion: +4;2d4+4| Morningstar: +4;1d8+3| Longbow +3;1d8|

Heal bonus rolls are good.

Let's see if anybody else wants items. If not Then I'll take the breastplate and go hammer whoever I need to hammer.

Elf ranger 1 NG Init +5 HP 12/12 AC 18/20, touch 15/17, flat-footed 14/16 Fort +3, Ref +6, Will +2; +2 vs. enchantments, Senses +8 Sense Motive +7

Elven trail rations
Shield

three two person tents
two six person tents
two ten foot poles
24 pitons
2 hammers
four water flasks
10 oil,
12 cots.

We can get Windsworn the breastplate armor and

1 healing kit
1 surgeons tools for a total heal bonus of +3 to Healing
And 2 alchemist fire.

I will drop Erystelle’s sword We will find one along the way I am sure.

And we have spent our steel if people are happy with that shopping list?

Awesome. I had family in Waseca/Woodsville and Pipestone for many years.
